Genetic Abilities: Normal human but stronger empathy and dragon sensitivity than most dragon riders
Physical Traits: average appearance, but stand-offish
Personality: poor communication skills with people; enjoy down time a little too much; prefers the night and dark locales but doesn't much care for being under all that rock, so a place like Caledrus' new dragonhold is perfect!
Skills and Profession: dragon healer, for their overall health issues; nimble and able to reach those hard to get to parts without damaging a dragon; has a skill with baking, and might have wandered off to learn more before being searched
Events and History: as the eldest of a number of children from either of her parents, Yngoy was urged to learn as much as she could from either of them. That didn't work out too well, with her father being off fighting ants and doing Weyr stuff, and her mother often traveling from guild to guild and eventually leaving Paniya entirely to teach somewhere else. She was raised at Alabaster though, which means her education was far better than many already. Searched at age 12 and not allowed to stand until a bit more mature. She impressed Ysieth and it was easily apparent that she belonged with riders but wasn't going to be much of a hard-duty fighter. She cares far more for the dragons and their well being, than for most people around her, and will prioritize their health above the riders, who she often blames for many injuries. She's not usually wrong about that, either, when something is easily prevented by common sense she will definitely school them in why you shouldn't let your dragon stand in thorn brush... |
