Dolphin Bonding Rules
Archeria gives you a look and tells you to follow her to the small shack near the edge of the inlet. There, a ramshackle desk sits with piles of scrolls and paperwork all over it.

"There are the rules which you must follow, if you are to be bonding one of the Enclave's dolphins. Please make sure you've read them, and understand them. We always follow up on our ship fish."

1-- YOU MUST HAVE A PERSONA for this dolphin. A person bonds to a dolphin just like a dragon impresses a human, only without the strong mental ties.
Under NO circumstances should a Dolphin be in the same weyr page with a Dragon! Once you've impressed a dragon you may not bond a dolphin (unless... the dragon dies... but that's not nice to think about!). Once you have a dolphin on your page, that person cannot be considered for dragon impression. Personas bonding to dolphins normally are sea-farers, and are very social. Your persona must enjoy living in groups and in the seas, to bond to a dolphin!

2-- You MUST link to the Protectorate or the Enclave on the SAME PAGE as the creature bonded or adopted. You may use the Enclave's shield emblem if you wish!

3-- RIGHT CLICK on the dolphin image you would like to use. You must save this image to YOUR hard drive.

4-- Name your dolphin and decide if it is male or female, and what its personality is. Dolphins often name themselves after events, objects or favorite activties.

4a-- EMAIL the Protectorate to keep our records straight. Please include...
...DOLPHIN ADOPTION in the subject line
...your online ID AND the name of your PERSONA
     ...your working email address
...the correct, working URL of the dolphin/persona page
...the name of the dolphin and if it has a Pod name

If the information about your URL is incorrect, I will try to contact you. But if you cannot be contacted and your url is wrong, I will simply not allow you to adopt at the Protectorate.

The dolphin images are originally drawn by Cristin Owens of Glass Island. They are used with permission. All dolphins facing RIGHT (>) have been recolored by Lethe. They are NOT allowed to be re-adopted or claimed as your own work!
