Notable among them was Gold rider Triia -- his mother! She wished to have a bit more contact with Tandri, and what better way than to stick around watching their dragons get hot and heavy?
Well, that wasn't entirely true, but it would give them some time to catch up. Both of them hoped dearly that their dragons stayed well away from one another while in their frenzy!
Following along for the fun of having a mating flight with a theme, Light Blue Choreoth and his rider Dancer enter the flight. Her partner Rogue and her brown dragon Rascalth are coming along, but are not participating in the flight. Rogue will not allow any man to come near her love!
Oddly, one dragon who no one really expected to go anywhere is participating fresh from his role in the Ryslen Flurry. Khalbalahath is a light-brown dragon from Ryslen whose rider, Ri'ngo, has been killed for the benefit of the rest of the world. Khal cannot abide having been ridden by a cold blooded murderer. His regret for having shown up at all, is that Ri'ngo used to be Triia's lover as well, and he feels that he might give her cause to dislike him because of it.
He may very well fly her dragon, Chvehath...

Chvehath is a quiet, observant and a bit sarcastic dragon. She is not a young dragon, either, as Triia bonded her at 19, and bore Tandri when she was in her 60s, and this flight is taking place at least 20 years after that!
However old they are in actuality, though, Triia and Chvehath look and act much younger. They both seem as 'middle aged' as one could get.
Triia is a weyrwoman who has never had a weyr to lead. She is a born leader, with a charismatic flair to her actions, though she reserves any true 'leading' for when she is requested or required to lead.
Chvehath has flown several times, mating to brown Utainth ridden by Tandri's father Etan, though Utainth will not be joining them in this flight. Chvehath is a medium sized gold, around 40 feet in length.

Brave and headstrong, but fun loving as well, Choreoth and his clutch mate Rascalth got lost in time for almost half a year while they were growing up.
Having learned to depend upon himself and his wits, Choreoth is a resourceful, strong dragon. He will be a match for any green or small sized gold, or even a rare, however he is not a large blue.
Dancer is a pleasant, reserved but happy woman. Her preference for female romance has led her and Rogue to even have a child sired by a trusted male friend. Dancer is devoted to her family and her dragon.

Khal has participated in other flights, recently the Flurry at Ryslen. He is a large, stunning dragon.
His mind is sound, very inquisitive but now reserved and a little sullen. He knows that his attraction to the beautiful golden Chvehath would be tragic.
Khal will chase any worthy large female, however his heart is in fact set on Chvehath.
SUCCESS! Khalbalahath has mated with "Starry" Chvehath!
*** NOTE that this flight takes place "outside" of Khal's normal life, sneaking in while he is waiting for the eggs on Ryslen's sands to hatch. Little does he know that his new mate will be waiting for him among those eggs! ***
