"You know with these dragons being so... hot," L'shiri commented, "maybe we should invest somewhere more appropriate?"
They could both feel the heat coming off the small hatchlings, but also the sort of half-angry half-desperate need for warmth.
"You know where there's a hot spot? Because I know where there's a hot spot." Sheirow said with a wink. "This planet is pretty cool, not so much volcanic activity, but there is still a volcano. One that most folks don't realize even is still almost active."
"What do you mean almost active?" his sister asked, but both dragons were already attentively waiting for his information!
"The cone on Zuca, of course!"
"The ... oh, the entire Area is volcanic," L'shiri looked at the overhead map that he provided on his datapad. "That's why there are nice hot springs up there!"
So together they moved some of their work, and their lovely static-spark colored dragons, down to the island Area of Zuca. They simply flew around in Sheirow's personal gyro until they located what seemed to be an isolated plateau near the south-central portion of the place. South of the peak but north of the mining areas beyond, where there were sheer cliffsides and deep valleys, all of which were significantly warmer than the peak itself. The pair would only reside here a small amount of time, but they brought in the portal technology needed to easily travel between their Deng homes and training facilities, and this isolated place. Of course, the dragons could also use those portals to go visit, but Deng was wet, a 'pleasant' grassland. But then they also had access to the offworld portals, leading to the cat-bunny twins' parental home on Planet Twenty! And there was so much fun to be had there! Here on Zuca however, the dragonets learned to speak, control their ability with fire, and even challenge each other to endure the chill peak above, then come down to relax near the toasty lava tube area on their Hold. | Overall info: Lyrian Dragon, Mate for life, 4-10 eggs; verbal speech Flare breed (from description, subject to change based on Trix's info?) Flare Dragons are firey all over. They have dark red skin, orange coloured wings and yellow eyes^. The most noticeable feature on them are their explosion-esque hair and tail. Flare Dragons can breath fire and are resistant to extremely high temperatures. On the downside they are very fragile when it comes to cold. Any temperature below 20°C (70°F) will cause them to lose power. When the temperature goes down even more they risk dying. ^come in new flame colors too |
