Edavl / E'vl and Brown Tanoth

What an unfortunate name. E'vl is a good guy, actually. Unless you get him at the gambling table, in which case he'll get you for all you're worth plus your socks. He's been known to bet on things while they're in progress, he's exceptional at runner race gambling as well. But when he's in the skies or helping to assemble something with Tanoth, he's all business.

He does have a weirdly conflicting enjoyment of the beach (he loves getting sun, in the hopes that his skin will darken down to the same shade as his birthmarks) but terror of actually going in deep water. He doesn't mind bathing, of course, or small streams. But the tides of an ocean or even a large lake put a fear into him due to a very old scare that also killed one of his cousins. Riptides are not your friend, and he doesn't even much care for flying over deep water.
