If you never knew that Kl'dan had Impressed a dragon, you'd have thought he was a drudge for his quiet nature. However, once you start talking to him about almost anything, this man obviously knows more than his innocent looking face lets on. He's lost more than he ever talks about - his family perished in a ground-quake and he was brought to a weyr for fostering. And though he was young at the time, he has never forgotten the touch of his loving mother's arms, or the soft singing voice of his harper father.

But Lorash is not a contrast to him, in fact the bronze dragon is his equivalent in the ranks of the winged creatures. Lorash is somewhat outcast purely because of his odd name - but he is as much a fire-spitting Thread-fighting dragon as any other. Especially any of his rank - he's smaller than most, and paler almost to a brownish tan. But his endurance and strength always show his true rank.

Kl'dan endures as well, though he is not a wing leader type, he is definitely a steadfast member of the fighting wings.
