Though Nik' is not the biggest of male dragons, he's stunningly strong and rather fast in the air. Those are good things, considering that O'ker's family had made enemies of a group of other riders, and they often will challenge the remaining member of the family to duels in the air. Almost eagerly, however, Nik' accepts these challenges because he knows it makes him better in the eyes of female dragons. He's able to compete for small or large females, and prefers the durable, dangerous big ones. O'ker is a bit selfish but he never hesitates to make a great meal for his friends, and everyone expects that some day soon his copper will fly Ullah's starry gold. Putting those two together might make sparks, but it might also cause disasters...
