Tahalthi / T'thi and Blue Elanth

While T'thi certainly has a sense of humor outside his duties, the moment he stood - at the young age of 9 - for a dragon, he knew that his life would be forever devoted to flight and danger. After his impression to sturdy, brave Elanth, his training included a lot of forms and posturing, which he understands but often - doesn't need to worry about.

By the time he was 13, he had risked his life to save a rider who had fallen unconscious on a dying dragon's back - and rescued him even though they lost the dragon. Ever since then, Dragonhope has had a devoted wing man whose task is almost purely to execute such rescues. On the battlefield, he has expertise for dressing wounds and getting lesser injured riders back into the air quickly, but also with assessing and triage so that he knows the difference between a rider who can be put back up, and one who must be flown back to the Weyr.

He has never made a mistake, and over time his wing leaders have realized that when he bolts off on his swift dark blue, there's an injury in the works, and they should warn the Weyr for incoming.
