As a Hold born crafter, Kadmen's skill in the blacksmith's shop is hardly as expert as those who have learned from a Crafthall, however even with his narrow build, he has very strong muscles and is always prepared for hard work. He was brought up to the Weyr as a worker, and has helped manufacture the rings and inner harness frames for the dragonriders for several years now. His parents were happy that he was Searched, but even more happy that he's standing at their closest Weyr's sands.

He has a cat named Z'purr, as he's always purring. This cat followed him up to the Weyr, so he had little choice but to 'rescue' him as a kitten and he's remained a constant friend ever since.

"Z'purr, you've got to get down from there, Esoyoth isn't a cat bed!" K'men sighed, and the cat defiantly remained asleep.

I do not mind, K'men, she is nice and warm.

"But ... Eso, we have places to be today, you're going to be trying the harness on today, and we can't do that with him on your shoulder too!" K'men sighed, "everyone will laugh."
