Born on another world, raised at Alabaster Tower in Paniya/Alskyr, under the strict tutelage of Lord Rider Engell. Because he was trained as a spy from a young age, Lui is finely tuned to sense motives and expressions on people, as well as their body language. But he's also terrific at breaking and entering without a trace, theft and ... replacement of other incriminating evidence planted where they are needed most.
With Donarth's hatching, he has blossomed a bit personality wise, but in terms of how much he reacts to everyone else it's hardly helped.
Donarth herself is a stable, if quiet, dragoness. She will back her rider up and keep him from harm, but she does sometimes allow others to play the occasional prank on him - when she thinks he needs it.
