Skills: works with the racers and prepares the beasts for their work, and though she does do a little racing she's not out there trying to beat her brother; she is an adept blacksmith but prefers to be working under other more well-trained superiors

Personality: she feels that if she'd been an only child she would be the one doing the racing and winning, and though she looks innocent enough she sometimes does bet against her brother when she sees racers that are of higher quality than the one he's riding... Should she pair with a drak this attitude might change

Background: this pair is native to the Dun Keiba area, from a family that has provided racers and burden beasts for the locals for more than four generations. They have several siblings younger than both, who will likely be the ones to inherit the actual business. Since Amros and Adhraiba have been Judged they are likely to transfer up to the castle, but remain in the field of racing and racer care.

"Do you remember when I found you?" Chabuüt asked, and of course Amros nodded.

"It was a beautiful morning, and it was made even better when you came to me."

"Would have been nice if my adorable partner had come in the morning," he heard his sister grump nearby. The faint echo of a chuckle came from her own drak but nothing more.

"Well, we have a job to do," Amros stood and dusted his hands on his riding pants.

"Do you miss it?" Adhraiba asked as they made their way toward the race arena. "Racing, yourself?"

Amros glanced at the proud and sturdy Chabuüt who was quite a bit bigger than the attendant Dusakgi - both of the draks of course considerably larger than any racer even bred for heavy hauling. Those racers were being prepped down below, and would get their turn being inspected by both drak and rider.

"Well, it's not like we don't have our own drak racing league!" Amros commented.

Adhraiba looked at her brother with That Snark, and said, "now if we could only make sure that the drak pairs racing were all cleared for non-fighting duties..."

"I know, I know," Amros said, scratching his mop of sun-bleached hair. "If I'd known they were supposed to be assembling to combat nex in the afternoon do you think I would have let them use the arena!?"

"It wasss an honessst misstake," Dusakgi claimed, "none of the drakss ssaid anything either."

They would need to get back to Dominica about it all, since she was in charge of these major drak needs. It had been her idea to have an arena built anyway, but they definitely needed a big written-rules placard put up soon or else mistakes like that one would happen whenever there were new arrivals and pairs.

But the siblings and their draks had been placed in charge of this arena as soon as Dominica saw them come home with their lovely mud and earth draks. Racers were one thing, but being able to handle and care for their draks meant they knew all the work needed to maintain healthy pairs before, during, and after their own flights.

Chabuüt and Dusakgi were too young at that time to understand why the need for such a preventitive measure, but the moment they knew injuries could occur in the field after wearing a drak out in a race... Well that was that. Both of the draks were adamant that they question their drak peers as much as the humans would grill the riders. It would be Adhraiba and Dusakgi's job to make sure no one snuck in late, and Amros and Chabuüt's to keep any cheating to a minimum.
