When Dominica was six years old, her mother decided to come back to Dun Keiba with her. While it was quite a surprise to see Almiron's mother again after this long, she was welcomed into the family - she was obviously very important to her mother, and that made her important to Almiron's father too.

The young boy of 13 took to his sister instantly. Perhaps his empathic abilities and her dream shaping worked together, or they just hit it off. Either way, they have been almost inseperable since then. Her extensive travels with her mother at such a young age counter balance her brother's seemingly permanent residence at the Castle. She loves to visit other places, while he often remains there.

When Almiron was Judged to stand for a Drak, Dominica watched with great interest. But while he was off in training several years later, she had to keep to her own education and training.

Dominica loves to watch people, but more: she loves to be seen. She began to show signs of being even more shapely than her mother, when she was only 12, but she'd long been involved in making the clothing and such for her father's band. She loved to listen to their music, but never had much talent for any instruments. Instead, she turned to a sort of psychology and public-relations type of job.

While Almiron greets visitors to Dun Keiba, Dominica is usually found in the Drak areas or down in the infirmary tending to people. Her strength in body is also found in her mind - though she is often boisterous and loud (like her father) she is still quite charming. People who are experiencing trauma calm down around Dominica, and she is quite welcome there.

Dominica and her brother both took bright white tattoos on their faces when they had both paired with their Draks. She was much younger than he when she Paired, and it was very nearly by accident when she did so. He had returned with his fantastic Opal to rule the roost in Dun Keiba's caverns, protecting the clutch which had been laid by a wounded and dying Ore dragoness. The 13 year old Dominica sprinted to the sands and latched on to one of the freshly-laid eggs. Since the mother of the clutch could hardly stop her, Dominica continued to return to the sands, and eventually paired with the dragon who sprang from the egg she'd fondled.

Wind Zariyapar practically flew from her egg at the young woman, and they have enjoyed each other's company ever since. While most of Dominica's knight training was done at Dun Keiba, she insisted upon also heading out to other Castles to be taught by their trainers. With this experience under her belt, a 18 year old Dominica assumed the mantle of High Princess when Almiron was given his title as well.

Dominica's almost outrageous tastes in clothing is also mirrored in her taste in men, or on occasion women. Her step father's exasperation at the situation between his son and his mate's daughter gives them all something to laugh about - when they argue about who would look better upon whose arm.

Zariyapar is more likely to take a longer term mate than her male counterpart, if for no other reason than to confound her rider.
