Samuramat's Sanctum - Xeno Hive |
|
Name: Samuramat Gender: Female Rank: Queen Species: Xeno-Human Shifter Parentage: Atrocity and Andressaa Siblings: Mengusikaa, Kinkkori, Kedok (so far) Height: Human - 6'7"; Midform - 7'2"; Xeno - 7'9" Shapeshifting: Full Human to full Xeno, however spends most of the time in half-form, as shown. Full human form is essentially a yellow-skinned bald-headed brick shit house of a woman. While she has eyes in that form, she tends not to use them. Though she is technically a 'queen' she only sprouts her second set of arms in Full xeno form, and has little to no intention of growing an egg-laying sac to trail behind her ass, as she considers that to be absolutely disgusting. Her voice is that of glass on glass - piercing, sharp, loud, distracting. Personality: queenly. Seriously, do not mess with this xeno, because she will enjoy messing you up. She is not patient, but she also doesn't feel like putting any responsibility in the hands of those she wouldn't trust to take care of it right. Like her brother Kedok, she is fascinated by human life forms, but also she's a big fan of true Xenos, and that's where her Hive comes in. Though she has no eyes in mid-form, she often uses her mental energies to pry into those nearby, and "read" or "watch tv". It's rather like having a stern employer or school-nun standing over your shoulder as she does this, because she will make judgements and she will chide you for watching / reading 'garbage'. Goals: As a queen should, she seeks her own hive. Whether it be filled with pure, hybrid or spliced xenos she doesn't care. They will respond to her, and if they do not, they will be duly punished. However she does not want to go out and disrupt anyone else's hive, she'd rather merely expand her own territory and enjoy the fruits of drone labor. |

She was the only one in the dark, warm chamber, when she hatched. Well, aside from the human who was bound by plenty of sticky resin onto the wall above her. Eagerly, she took to the wall and covered the terrified, numbed face with herself. There was nothing at all like the time she spent within the body of this human. It was when she learned who she was, what she was, and where. There was a pure mind outside the room, calling to her and giving her plenty of instruction on how to be Xeno. Thedakaliss was a nice 'mother' figure, but was no queen. She had a king, however - that was Samuramat's father. Atrocity was keenly proud of this particular bursting - he was always oddly full of himself whenever one of these xeno-human creatures was born. And though he was merely male, he did have a solid self-image, and he was plenty smart. Learning from him though, was like learning to swim in the rapids. His mind wasn't weak, far from it. But it was hard to sort out memories from intrusive thoughts from his other draconic bonds. Thus, Samuramat sought out her brothers and sister, while they were around the Den's dark interior, to learn more. From Kedok she learned the finer points of shapeshifting. He was so adept at it, she actually wondered if he were better at it. That couldn't be possible of course, he was only male. From Mengusikaa, she understood family and power structures. Each world they might visit could contain many kings and queens - recognize them, and understand where to put pressure. And from Kinkkori she stole peeks into history books, math, sciences. He was young, younger seeming than she could ever be. But she relished that contact as well, for he wanted to seek out his own kind of queen some day. Good for him. So when Samuramat exited her quiet, dark home for the first time, she towered over her siblings, and decided that she would have to find her own place - this was too packed. Those little annoyances belonging to Atrocity: his bond's offspring, they knew only him as their 'queen', and were a bit disrespectful. It could only be because of Ecothet's influence, but she didn't fault him that. Samuramat used one of her father's dimension gates within hours of her announcing her own name, and vanished onto the dark chill plains of a stray planetoid. Taking the gate with her, knowing she'd want to use it again, she settled in to determine the best plan of action on making this new home of hers a proper Hive. |

Her Hive had been stable, steady, and secure for years. How many years? She didn't really know - the location didn't exactly lend itself to time-telling. Nor did the minds of her busy hive members. She had picked them up here and there, something about her mind let her know whenever there were Xeno eggs about. A variety of worlds had contributed to this Hive of hers, and she was proud of them all. When she looked at them with human-like eyes, she saw a dazzling array of colors and even bioluminecence on them. When she listened to their minds, she felt their ever-present requests and responses - was this rock in the right place? did the hunter bring the food in? move those stored mammals into the big chamber for feasting. She heard the drones' skittering movements, but at least most of her warriors were quite silent. Still, Samuramat grew restless. The place they had colonized was within a great cavern system under mountains. Yet it was part of a larger location, with seasonal shifts in weather patterns, yet it was reasonably dim even at its closest point to the small star it circled. Where was it? She'd never bothered to look at those stars with her human-eyes, but now she did so and made notes. There was something she could sense, deep in the Hive's mind. Within her true bloodline, a place called out to her. She would go there. She didn't yet know this place's name, but it felt half-familiar... Perhaps that was merely because every place in the Hivemind was somehow connected to every other. The portal that her sire had made could be tuned and refined, she would come back here once more. Hopefully, with more good servants, warriors, collectors, hunters... perhaps even queens to share the world's bounty with. As long as they knew how they'd gotten there alive and intact, and made the right scents in her presence, Samuramat's world could easily support them all. |
