Ivo Sanger and Night Bronze Zkoth

Ivo has shapeshifting powers and can transform instantly into a cheetah or a half-cat/half-man. (oh, he's always all man, let him tell you about it...)
Zkoth is a Ryslen night Pernese-based dragon who requires firestone to breathe flames, and is about the size of a large Pernese brown or smallish to medium bronze. He's a successful breeder, as is Ivo.
Why come to this event? - Ivo is bored stiff. His mind wanders. He has a charming thought in his head that he'll get 'lucky' at this event, and will probably try 'getting' whoever crosses his path, male or female. Except Rugan, because she and Siltek scare the living shit out of him. Ivo is a strong willed individual though is a little weird. He can bring very solid medical and emergency treatment to the Island, though, as he IS a surgeon and medical doctor. He also has skills with dragon healing.

Tom Mullen (played by Dray) and Shokua Vallum (played by Jkat)
Mullen is a plain old human, physically in his late twenties-early thirties, with no super-natural abilities save good old basic psionics. Despite (or perhaps because) of his military upbringing and subsequent renege, he's can be silly, but this is overlaid by firm training. He plays up the 'dumb blonde' stereo-type whenever he can, so people tend to underestimate him. 'Bonded' (or rather, closer to married) to Shokua Vallum, an Avengaean Earth dragon, he certainly isn't looking, and definitely is not up for grabs. XD
He's a good singer, has taken up a love of moss and vegetable farming, and knows a great deal about taking out huge, demonic creatures... but then again, he's used to fighting with fire-arms, and only knows basic hand-to-hand. Lately a pacifist, you're not going to see a lot of trouble out of him.
Why come? ...>.< That's a bad sounding question, but anyways, an isolated trip to a tropical beach sounds more like a vacation then a challenge, especially after rearing two monster twin-children! To Mullen, this is a chance for some alone time (hopefully people won't be stumbling in on them... *snrk*) and a time to meet some hopefully sane people. XD

Shokua Vallum
Shoky is an Avengaean Earth Dragon... who lives in the forest, so might be a bit cocky about this whole competition. She's a shifter, and telepathic, but never learned how to teleport or really do all that much magic at all. She's one of the few Aven-dragons who can actually hunt for herself, though she tends to pretend squeamishness for the heck of it. X3
She's good at hand-to-hand combat, human or dragon form, and she likes caves, spelunking, and Mullen.
Why come? See the Mullen entry -- this seems like a holiday. X3 And of the sort she'd like occasionally, too. She's also pretty sure she can win, no problem. XD Now the problem is keeping Mullen from getting eaten by a giant snake or something...
Mystic's Entry
Rugan and Porth.
Everyone knows Rugan as the ass-kicking, man-hating, iron-pumping biatch that she is. Beware for THAT time of the month. Especially since she's not pleased about being stuck on an island with a bunch of 'f***ing loud mouthed little brats.'
She isn't equipped with any supernatural powers, but the little bit of Liron left in her gives her a benefit over the average human. Her strength, as is visible in the massive amount of muscle no regular woman would be able to maintain (without 'roids), is twice that of a normal human's. She has the extrasensitive ears and nose of her feline heritage, but her eyesight is on par with a human's. Maybe slightly better in the right lighting, but she's no better off in the dark then the next poor sap.
On the other hand, Rugan has spent her life training extensively in Liron martial arts and any other style of fighting that comes her way. She is adept at blind-fighting, hand-to-hand combat, and is the only known weilder of a dire axe (that thingy in her picture). If it comes down to it, Rugan'll be good to have around for crowd control. >.> Don't let the dragons piss her off either.
Porth is a womanizer. He loves the ladies and will probably be trying to hook up with a few whilst in this competition. He is also as Old World as Old Worlders get. Dating back as far as his lineage goes, he has nothing but pure Pernese DNA coursing through his blood. What this means for him is that, while having been adapted to the fire paste produced on Tris'Hath, he cannot manage more then a weak flame (when compared to some of those pyrokenetic tricks of other dragons out there). Also due to his genetics he has been able to gain a significant amount of bulk.
Porth prides himself on the fact that he is likely one of the more muscular Old Worlders in the Nexus. Aside from bronzes, he has yet to meet a match for his sheer brawn and amazingly healthy physique. He may be small, but he knows a thing or two about paw-to-paw fighting himself. War experience has given him a distinctive edge battle-wise.
Their reasons for entering are because Mystic said so. Besides, this'll get Rugan away from the annoyances at the Warren for a while. Might actually have a few days of peace and quiet! .... Pfft-ahahahahaaaaa!

Satena-mekoze and Red-Black Xenodragon Queen Zexenophit
Satena is a critter known as a sotiel, which are a species of strong natural psionics. She can speak telepathically to anyone she can see, regardless of distance. If she can't see her target, her range falls to about 50 feet. She also has the ability to 'blast' another creature's mind with her own, and knock them to a "brain-blanked" state for about 3 minutes. For her to use this ability, however, she must be within 10 feet of her target. She is lightweight and fragile, but like a fly, can climb on just about any surface.
Zexenophit is a 3-headed Queen xenodragon, burster-type. She too is telepathic, can climb on any surface, and can also communicate with any other xeno in existance via the mindstream. (She promises not to mindstream for the extent of the challenge, however, and Ze never lies-- besides, who wants to get close enough to collar her, anyway?)
Why come? Ze likes to stay busy, she always likes to be on a mission of some kind and out doing something (hence she's great on Star City's Security forces). Ze likes to stay busy because it keeps her out of the "settle down and LAYEGGSLAYEGGSLAYEGGS" mindset that all Queens are subject to. Going to an isolated island where she and Satena will only be able to rely on instinct and natural skill sounds like a perfect challenge to her. Satena's just getting dragged along, though she does intend to give the challenge her all.

Maci Farren and Usandi Eyele
Maci is a Yhanvi, a type of almost faerian fantasan dragon. Unlike most of her race she has an unusual wanderlust, and has traveled Fantasa-side for many years. Only recently has she been drawn from her homerealm through the Ring of Fire dragonry, attracted by the prospect of getting a companion and possibly seeing the rest of the Nexus. Like Avengaea!
Maci is rather well-versed in survival, as well as traveling, though her magical abilities are surprisingly slim for a Yhanvi. She can heal, more than anything, but not as well as some mages. Enough to save a life. In addition, she can sling some low-level spells, and possibly shift (haven't decided if the Yhanvi can or not, yet!). She's a rather easy-going sort, lighthearted and cheery most of the time. If a little over the top in cheerfulness...
Usandi is a young Avengaean dragon, a mix of Light and Air. She hasn't reached her full growth yet, but is already ready to move on and try new things. While she hasn't gotten to Avengaea yet, she's still quite enthusiastic about traveling around. The world is her oyster!
As far as abilities, Usandi is still learning about survival techniques and other things. Luckilly her bonded is a good teacher! She's really not very old, and can be somewhat immature at times. Not to mention she's going to miss her buddy, Isuan, for the duration of the contest. XD
Usandi's abilities include shifting to human form, being an Avengaean, and has control over various types of Avengaean magic: Air, Illusion, Light, and Order.
The two have entered the challenge to both test out and sharpen their skills, Maci thinks it would be rather good for her young bond. XD On top of that, it's something new. Can't hurt to try, right?

Tenken and black/green Birana

Tenken is a swordsman and ex-assasin. His specialty is a burst of superspeed and can become a human blur! He swordfights with great skill though gets careless when he is angry. He has limited magic powers but doesn't really like using them and doesn't know how to use them well either.
Birana is 18 feet tall, bipedal, and, if possible, even crabbier than Tenken. She is only in a good mood when bullying other people/dragons/etc. and doesn't see why Tenken just doesn't kill G*non and get it over with.
Why come to this event? If Tenken doesn't come to this event then he is stuck at Cy for the Bipedra and, according to Tenken, "Hey, ten annoying people with dragons isn't nearly as bad as thirty psychos who are about to get them. And I hate hydras. I'm not going back until all the little monsters are out of Cy."
Oh, and Tenken has his two flits, Aelda and Enthor. They talk and Aelda goes invisible while Enthor has shape-shifting capabilities. What will be the rules regarding them? (see rules)

Fyre and Red Firestorm Arekith
Fyre has the ability to manipulate (summon, control, etc.) fire, is very aggressive. Basically, she won't take any shit from anyone, and it's her way or the highway. If we're being candid here, she's not very good at taking orders or working as part of a team.
Arekith is a red firestorm from Ryslen, who is about the size of an Old World bronze and is just as antisocial as his rider. He tends to be rather like a bully in the way that he has no qualms about forcing his opinions on anyone who disagrees, with the full backing of his rider.
Why come to this event? Fyre is bored stiff with everyday life at the Nidus. Before becoming a draconar she was a bandit, proficient with the use of a bow and the use of flames as weapons.
Arekith, catching this malcontent from his rider, is just as eager for a new chalange, other than catching females (won his first flight at Lantassama).
The main thing that Fyre and Arekith can bring to the game is their physical prowess and hunting abilities.

Lakiea and blue-black Ahri'dusan.
Lakiea's your basic buff, ex-guard, Alskyrian female except that she has a precognitive ability to "see" attacks before they hit her. Which I had a feeling is going to be useful on this island.
Ahri'dusan is a dark Iubrelian (sp?) dragon, who's that patient, quiet warrior type. He's had some training from Narafth and Aneracth in fighting and psionics, so he actually has a relative clue about what he's doing. Nothin' special other than that.

Why come: Because, they're the only pair I could think of to send that would be a decent challenge for the competition. Save you know Anquet and Narafth or their SO's, whose dragons you'd have to tie up and gag for the duration to make things fair. And Mahavir and Vimahath I could just see ending up as some f*cked up version of Captian Jack Sparrow and crew given the right elements.

Dragon (Normal) : Sabre is a furred and feathered dragon, her body covered in a thin layer of fine fur in shades of various browns. She has a darker mask of earthy reds with an Egyptian-style silver line extending back from her light indigo eyes. At the tip of her muzzle is the same shades of reds. She has a horse-like, but curly, mane of dark brown that extends the length of her body. Her feathered wings are earthy reds, tipped in blue. Generally quadripedal, though her foreclaws can be used easily as hands. All of her claws are retractable. Note: Her ears are similar to that of reptiles.

Personality : If Sabre has many sides, Sali' is the kind of dragon who will help focus any one of those sides, at least, enough so that this shifter seems less confused and confusing. Sali's a quiet green, though she has a wicked sense of humor that she only reveals around those that are closest to her. She's rather smart for her colour.

Khela and Yerslarg

Khela is a pale blue gryphon with white on her underside and black secondary and primary feathers. She is quiet and caring, preferring to watch rather than participate in fights. She has no problem chipping in, and can easily get Yerslarg to listen to her.
Yerslarg is a slimey limey daemon, meaning he is many vibrant shades of green. He does not speak aloud, though he can make warbles and hisses. He has an immunity to poison and can stick to surfaces, quite like a tree frog. He is often thought to be stupid, but he is not an idiot. Not to mention he will do anything Khela asks him to do.
Why come to this event? Urann (the third of the three-way bond) had been getting pompous and annoying lately. Khela decided that her soft reprimands were not working, so she convinced Yerslarg that they should show Urann they did not need him as much as he thought. Yerslarg found out about the competition, and Khela agreed to participate. Naturally, Urann was angry... but castaways aren't allowed visitors.

Emquenje is very proud, but he also keeps quiet. He can take care of himself quite well, and if he couldn't his bond could for him XP He's very dexterous with his front paws, so anything that a human would have to do using hands he could do for this competition.
Duridoss

Powers: Self-telekinesis, telepathy, acid blood
Duridoss is, like all xenos, violent and bad tempered XD she has a particular love for chaos, and has been inspired (good job Emquenje) to go forth and multiply XP Emquenje has, to slightly redeem himself, managed to convince her to focus on multiplying instead of spreading chaos... but she still loves chaos. Far too much.
