Appearance: though on first glance he is very much a fox, there are subtle differences particularly in his scent and size. He cleans up well, but won't worry about his hair or fur getting mussed or covered with leaves and branches while he's sleeping under the stars. His voice is higher than a wolf's but definitely louder and more bold than the yipping that his father is capable of (and... embarrassingly, almost constantly doing); he has a shy looking face until he's angry

Skills and Profession: Though trained at court skills from an early age, he was also forbidden to actually attend court with his father or mother when she was tending to him (a rarity). He learned how to sneak around castles and keeps in order to watch any of those activities he'd be quite good at, but equally he knows that when people discover his actual lineage they are predisposed to balk - if they are royal Wyldkin, anyway. Others don't seem to be too fussed about him! However, after puberty and him shooting up like a tall tree compared to his fox family, he has learned finer points of swords and staves, dueling and sparring with the best he can find, and then realizing that dirty fighting on the streets can teach him even more about getting out of the way... He has no official capacity in the Wyldkin government, but he knows all of its laws and regulations all-too-well. His mother has taught him how to work with his naturally-occurring psionics, from self-adaptation to keep himself from freezing or overheating, to the occasional use of a well-placed psionic wound, so he feels quite capable of handling himself in most situations, both urban and exotic. Javet loves exploring and hunting, and has hardly been back to his duchy in ... well, several years actually, so he knows the lay of the lands surrounding it, and well into other kingdoms now as well. He's not apt to be a 'guide' so much as a 'guard', if he finds people in need, he will help them as best he can against the Fey or just the wilderness at large, and vanishes before they can ask his name. Now that he has been befriended by this amazing dragon, he also must keep secrets - or, better, keep different company than those courts that reject him by being a half-breed. The Grotto has a strong defender in him, but also an in with his mother's line just in case there is dire need to have royal help. She would be more than happy to do so, given how many of her children are spectacular like him!
Possessions: He's slowly been bringing his gear, furnishings, memories, and items from his duchy home to the Grotto. He does have a good selection of fine clothing, but also exploration gear and riding harnesses for not only his dragon (who he rides with a strap only, nothing more intrusive) but for ground running horses or the assorted strange creatures that show up as mounts. His Bead Shot wrist band is an expensive and rare item, and he likes to make sure it's in good working order, and does make a point of retrieving the shot if possible since it's custom-made. It's likely that he'll be able to get someone in the Grotto to do this since there are such a strange variety of people here surely someone has the skill.
Personality: He towers over his much smaller father, and is more aggressive in some ways, which follow in his mother's paw prints. He is however just-a-bit annoyed that he is not in line to rule anywhere, mostly due to his father's cowardice to present him as his heir in the duchy. Javet is hardly mean or cruel, and tries not to dwell on his social status. He treats others with care and respect as long as they reflect this, but he will not hesitate to put someone in their place verbally or even physically should they begin taunting or attacking. While his father's mantra seemed to be 'run away from any danger no matter the type', Javet dives in, just like his mother.
History: There is a song that he hates hearing, but has persisted for decades, that starts "the wolf queen and a foxy duke, had a fair trist of late". And yes, that is the Wolf Queen and his father they're singing about. Everyone knew that this was going on, even the wolf queen's husband. Which, Javet knows, is why he has never been presented as an heir anywhere, not even in his father's duchy. He knows perfectly well that his mother would eagerly accept him into her family, save for that pesky 'husband' thing, but he's been dead a while now, and there are other half-breeds on the thrones beside Wynnah. Like his half-brother Wael, he may become a diplomat of some kind, though not the official type that the Lumin-sired wolf has been.

She is well aware that not all of her rank might have chosen a male to be bonded to, but he is royalty even if he's been rejected by his family. His bearing and confidence, as well as his energetic skill sets, drew her to him and will never part from him.
