Appearance: pale peach skin with no marks or blemishes; has much larger eyes than a human, and those ears which are usually hidden under her hair, but is otherwise all but indistinguishable from other Jewel Witches on a glance. She has a somewhat serious expression, concentrating on her work. She prefers leather leggings, cloth tops, and tall boots as shown. She is lithe and graceful, but also much stronger than she looks. Her voice is clear, somewhat low, and she pronounces everything very carefully though not slowly - she has a very large vocabulary and isn't afraid to use it to show off

Diadem: her diadem is made from silver she's shaped herself, and has a single very large coppery-shaded tigers-eye stone set into the center and is worn as shown. Both metal and gemstone provide her with added power, and she has been known to use other gems though always sticks with silver as a base for the tiara

Stat Notes: Bonuses in stat block reflect combined / averaged Jewel Witch and Starcourt Elf changes. With her long lifespan technically the bonuses would add up over time, but she has concentrated her efforts on self-improvement and her added bonus points (potential) have all been applied. Typically it would take much longer (to level 16) but she's a special girl isn't she? Quirks also include keen Psionic Awareness which enables her to roll multiple times if there's imminent danger, as well as a considerable boost to her psychometric Touch and Sight skills with Psionics.

Weapons and Armor Skills: Note that Leucosia does not use weapons beyond her mind. She wouldn't lift a finger to harm a person... She uses her mind for that, silly. Attack rolls for Projected silver or gem are as Thrown, Mind Stun roll is as Dodge and relies on a person actually attempting to harm her. Silverskin allows her to physically Parry.

Skills and Profession:

As a Diadem creator, Leucosia's focus is on matching stones to people, to create a foci for their Psionics. She has access to hundreds if not thousands of different pieces of stone, rock, gems, crystals, but also ores, refined metals, ceramics, coral, porcelains, dyes, even wood and fossils, and some amount of non-organic created items like plastics, ceramics, and the like. Her focus is on the more natural of these, namely pure metal ores (especially silver) and normally produced gemstones and crystaline substances. She has a good broad knowledge of all of those things, but with her Psionic abilities in tune with that knowledge she can determine the best location to find the right stones, and how to make them into a functional headpiece, and to make that item stylish as well.

She will use her Psychology skill, geared very specifically to work with her Mind Psionics, to examine and question a young Jewel Witch or anyone else that seems able to accept a diadem's influence. Knowing what questions to ask, how they're answered, body language, and other such factors all contribute to knowing where to even start with gem and diadem material selection, and she does this before anything else.

While she does certainly treat this all as a profession and has earned quite a lot of money doing it for various influential Jewel Witches, she has broadened her scope and looks to help out others such as Lumin, Gelgelans, and even Griffs and the elusive Starcourt elves that occasionally wander her way. With her Psionics she can discern issues that might come up, conflicts that could result in feedback or life-threatening backlash, and can also choose to let down a potential buyer due to those things gently and without further issue.

Her profession has allowed her quite a bit of leeway for travel, and she has visited numerous capitol cities across Dragondeep, having a particular interest in some areas due to their impressive mineral selections.

Possessions: A massive amount of gems, stones, ores, even interests in mines in several countries, Leucosia can be considered quite wealthy virtually anywhere she goes. She doesn't lord this over people, however, choosing to give out gifts and fit people who can't afford their Diadem for free, which usually means eventually those people will be able to pay her for those services in the future! She has at least three small homes outside of her Crystal Dome estate, including one in the Bazaar of the Clockwork Kingdom, the Lumin Realm, and recently the Gelgelan Eminence. Each of these are well-guarded and attended by local hired caretakers, whom she treats with dignity and generosity. She knows that even if they cannot use the materials for a Diadem, any given citizen of virtually any portion of Dragondeep can still sell the items she gives them in trade! Leucosia also has a reasonable amount of clothing and trinkets found on her travels.
Personality: While 'gregarious' could be applied, she is most comfortable with a small group of people she knows well. She is capable of detecting lies and hidden motivations, and those are in plentiful supply wherever she might roam, so she must pace herself when going out into large cities including her home in the Crystal Dome. Gifted with confidence and a sure and steady mannerism, she can enter a conversation with an adult Dragon or a toddler Wyldkin with equal ease.

History: Leucosia was gifted as a child and never hesitated to root around in baskets of rocks and crystals - these things are always available in a Jewel Witch home with children. But her intensity about looking at each stone, touching them with her eyes glued to their aura, told her mother that for sure, she was going to go far in the field of gem selection.

It wasn't until she had her first official consultation at the age of four, with a Diadem maker, that her true strength appeared: the moment she was presented with solid rods of various metals (usually meant to catch the eye, rather than trigger powers) that she reached for that silver bar and it formed directly into the Diadem she wears now. In her other hand was a tiger-eye that she found a few days before in her uncle's home, and the two items fused perfectly the first time she tried. The Diadem crafter took her in as an apprentice when she was six, younger than virtually any other known to the Jewel Witch community. Easily taught about all the various types of gems, ores, crystals, and metals, she also began looking at some of the more exotic headgear that well-traveled Witches wore.

She will always come back to her default of silver and gem, but Leucosia is very much the 'match the person to their best substance' type. Because she was not only apprenticed to a Diadem crafter and saw quite a few of her customers daily, but people came to see her 'because what a prodigy!', she had quite a few experiences with people who had wild stories about distant lands.

Eventually graduating her schooling and perfecting her psionic art of silver and gem shaping, she was able to learn more about other abilities - she was also a 'finder', and her mental psionics aided all of this to form a perfect storm of psychological knowledge, sociology and practical experience, and carting around items that occasionally landed her 'tips' of thousands of credits.

By the time she was 19, she'd donated to the genetic foundation responsible for fusing potential offspring, though she is unlikely to bear them herself it is clear that she could potentially have offspring with several different humanoid species on Dragondeep. Her arrangements with the Foundation eventually led her to meet two men interested in furthering their lines, though she doesn't have much contact with either of her kids - a son and daughter - since they tend to take more after the mental and other-elemental powers of their sires. She still sends both of them money and information now and again, they'll go far on their own and she's proud of them none the less.

In her later twenties, the silver shaper took her 'trade name', Silverwill, and is very likely to open her own set of training and crafting halls scattered among different locations in the world. Now in her thirties, Leucosia has traveled quite extensively, though usually to urban areas rather than tromping around in jungles or rocky volcanic mountainsides. She will admit to being morbidly curious as to whether the volcanic stone and obsidian found in the Sulfur Shadow, where the Necromancers have their huge Necropolis, would yeild any different results than the smaller islands and atolls scattered around the world. She's done trading with several of them for just such experiments!

But it was while on a difficult journey suggested to her by a strange green-toned panther Kin, that she truly realized the depths of the world's mysteries. On an island that used to be a mountain - now a crater - just about the same year she was born, some great magical catastrophy happened to bring... rabbits. Rabbit people, along with numerous scattered few others, humans and demons and a variety of folk, plunged from one world to this one. It wasn't unheard of, it had happened in the distant past, and after all wasn't that what the Portals did? Bring things from other worlds to Dragondeep?

On this visit to the Gelgelan Eminence, a great expanse of strange towns and amazing people - not Wyldkin, too consistently rabbit-like for that. And.

And dragons. Not like the ones otherwise ruling the seas and air of Dragondeep, no. Smaller, sleeker in most cases, but so many.

Can she keep this secret while still meeting so many people in her career? Of course she can. Her mental prowess to detect motivation and lies is keenly developed (there was that one time another Diadem crafter attempted to steal her work and pass it off as her own?!) so she knows, even the dragons cannot know about this. But they've... hooked her up, there are so many other worlds with dragons of different sorts, that one of them seemed destined to arrive and take a great interest in her work!

"You certainly are welcome here, little one!" Leucosia said, of the small but hardly-bumbling dragonet. That dragon lifted her head proudly, and gave a warbling call, which cleared into speech in Leu's mind.

We will make amazing things together!

Gin no Ishi, apparently, also had 'the right name too', given its meaning. So Leucosia and Gin no Ichi set up their semi-permanent residence in Gelgela, the city at the northern edge of the caldera's now-lush valley. Since they were technically speaking a 'dragon-rider pair', the established rule was that they would have their own quarters and whatever training they would need, with some amount of service to the Gelgelan people owed. And that service came in the form of her existing arts. Gin was of tremendous use with getting new stones, and while not so much a 'gem cutter', she had ideas in her mind of every type of jewelry you could possibly make with them.

Since Leucosia did concentrate on her Diadem production, they then hired local Gelgelans to use the many stones and forged ore, pure metals, alloys, and other materials for their new shop!

It was not more than a year into this venture that Gin no Ishi shapeshifted for the first time. It was while a group of other locals were racing around, young adults but with the exhuberance of kids, and almost all of them moved from one physical shape to another as they passed. Gin looked almost as suprised as Leu, but they suited her with fun clothing, and got her tools fit for fingers rather than claws.

Those same kids were also dragon riders. What a surprise? But they did help out since that was their job, and it turned out that Gin could easily pass as a Gelgelan 'skin', like those Wyldkin who only showed the barest minimum of animal features, her upright bipedal form had just colors in common with her normal form.

"You know..." Leu said, carefully but with a thrill, "this... means you could travel with me, carefully of course."

"I can't hold the form for-"

"But you'll learn my little dear," Leu giggled, shortly followed by the laughter from the dragon.

Abilities: Winged Flight, Gin flies carefully, but can attain great speed in just a few strong flaps. Preferring the open skies over Gelgela, she can however dart among the streets and buildings found in the town as long as they've got a little room for wings to open.
Teleportation, a bit on the hesitant side, she still trains with and relies upon other dragons to be guided. She can activate the power easily, but is not all that confident with where they'll wind up if she tries it alone. She's heard tell of a strange world's 'map', a semi-natural cavern at the top of a small mountain, filled with shining magically-lit stones? When she feels up to it, they'll visit Bald Mountain to take notes, maybe even create their own at the Gelgelan dragonry?
Verbal Speech and Telepathy, very good with short-range telepathy, she keeps in constant touch with her bond, as her own psionics allow it far more easily. But she can reach any dragon nearby, within about 2 miles radius, more if they're strongly telepathic themselves. Her mind 'feels like looking at a shifting tiger's eye stone', louder and softer in turns like the light bouncing off a smooth multicolored stone. She is quite adept with the local form of language verbally, in either humanoid or draconic form, and likes chatting up potential customers in their store room
Shapeshifting to humanoid form, as above, she's quickly learned how to keep her form even when surprised or if there are a lot of distractions. Within a couple years of practice, she is virtually always able to maintain either shape at will, including during sleep. Though she more often sleeps as a dragon because well, that gives her time to rest!
