Skills and Profession: a traveling performer, Pip enjoys serenading people and often surprises them with how flexible her voice can really be. She has also been known to help local water-based rescues since she can dive and swim very well, and that's earned her a place in some villages' hearts
Possessions: Her maracas and some other wood items, ideal for small props and simple music aids, kept in a small watertight case (just because she requires water doesn't mean that they will survive long after being waterlogged).
Personality: Approachable, idealistic, honest, bound by the book and harmonic
History: Now the only thing is... she has to keep this lovely dragon both safe from harm from the local dragons, and keep her performances on land up! They hit coastal towns and carefully avoid detection by the bigger sea dwelling dragons, and if worse comes to worse they can just pretend like Chaliodus is an exotic 'pet'. Since he is actually pretty good at waiting it out, he finds ways to entertain himself, unless they are at the Grotto - and then he joins in with his flashy glow and frills.

Meeting Notes: Excitable and always up for a game, Chaliodus is a playful young dragon, ever eager to get into mischief. He's wildly creative with an imagination that's impossible to tamp down, and with his preternatural patience he's willing to wait until everything is perfect before voicing his ideas. He's equal parts a boon and a burden to Pip's muse; overflowing with ideas but ever-cautious about suggesting something with flaws. Never-the-less, he loves collaborating new songs and stories with Pip and the pair enjoy the process, however turbulent.

-- From hatching: As expected, the last egg to hatch belonged to Malacostei and Marilla. A relatively tiny male compared to many of his siblings, deep green in color with a wide stripe of red along his spine. He unfurled himself from his shell carefully, each movement orchestrated to perfection.

One straggling onlooker dwelling in the deep was Pip, a grung bard who'd be on the edge of losing hope for a bond this frenzy.

"You took your time coming out," she said.

The betta-dragonfish regarded her with mischievous eyes. ::I hope your Chaliodus is well worth the wait. ::
