Though they claimed often enough that they were 'whorlings', Kalinda knew perfectly well they were dragons. And they weren't the flying kind, they were special.

They had four eyes, they were gifted with speech and magic.

Haruja was a dark brown color, she was very pretty and very attentive. Her companion Basan was a little less focused but no less handsome. At least, to Kalinda they were gorgeous. To some other people, having those extra eyes seemed to unnerve them. That was okay, it gave Kalinda time to formulate a good jinx or charm to get people out of her hair while they were busy dealing with Haru and Bas.
