Other: He would fit in well enough at Carramba, and spent several years studying, blipped back and forth as a 'teenager'; also notably, his powers and skill with them are extremely Zekiran in nature, so he's taken direct training from some Sehatan and dream therapists who work at the high school Height: 5'10", taller than both parents Weight: ~140, skinny but not bony, he's very wiry and his muscles are deceptively flat looking Hair: rich black with faint brown undertones, and will be platinum by the time he is around thirty, just like dad; his hair is slightly wavy, and somewhat silky, so he usually finds hair gel to keep it tamed; generally doesn't like it too much longer than shown Eyes: brilliant aqua and teal, much brighter in color than his mother's and considerably bluer than dad's; wide, heavily lidded, will have those bags common to the Vahh types, though he already wears them well Appearance: medium to light skin with no markings or scars, has thin lips and will have deep laugh lines; long everywhere, just all over a gangly teenager who won't grow out of that phase, and will always look like a greyhound; And even though he hasn't had Icarus treatments, he stole some of the clothing that goes along with them, and likes layering black on black. His voice is deep and spooky, but he's been known to erupt in riotous nasal laughter Icarus Processing: oh for fuck's sake, no. Both of his parents, as well as his grandmother Silver being not only treated but a cloned body, there is absolutely no reason to even think about this. He's naturally long and slender, and his Vortal presence is just fine without any added materials. It's also likely that since his mother's side are from Aperturth, he never needed this in the first place, as his genetic line would be disposed to most of this already. |

Genetic Abilities: with parents as exceptionally gifted with the Standard Suite of Pantheon basic powers, it's no wonder that Dyllon is one of the Rookery's strongest telepaths. His range is perhaps just shy of 1000 miles, though at that distance the most he will muster is a ping, he can sense individuals who are strongly Vortal at that distance and nudge their minds. Though his telepathy is incredibly strong and remarkably invasive if need be, he can easily shut out other minds and is never overwhelmed by groups around him, nor is his mind blisteringly loud when sending thoughts to a nearby person. It's either a ping from a huge distance, or conversational tones within 100 miles down to sitting next to him. His telepathy can reach through even the strongest Vortal 'shield', such as Geoff's, though he claims that Dyllon's voice then is muffled, as if through a wall. He can easily sense dreams and background thoughts, but doesn't do this casually: if he knows he needs to be on the lookout for someone with an ulterior motive, or if he suspects something is very wrong, he'll open up his mind and listen to everything on everyone's minds around him and sort through it with ease. His dreaming presence is calming and fleeting, he doesn't hang out watching people's subconscious thoughts all that often but can do so up to 100 miles away, and implant ideas or modify a dream slightly at less than 20 miles away, one person at a time. Empathically he can sense as well as control to a limited degree, up to a dozen people at under 20 meters, but can directly change the emotions of one person nearby in any direction or intensity. Empathy at close range tends to swing him into a group mood, however, so he is careful to shut that down when he remembers. He has very strong close-range Vortal sight of things other than minds, and can tell when a power has been used, using a limited psychometric touch. Living things he can detect at incredible range, but with discerning detail close up. Additionally he is able to teleport along existing 'Vortal ley lines', so wherever one of his family members has been, or other such strong presences, or even from one Xenian crystal site to another. He can move up to about 1000 miles with some exertion, but if he's going between crystal points, he doesn't lose any energy. Dyllon can take up to one human-sized mass with him, so he's not terrific for big group events. He can genrehop, moving between set locations such as Xen, Carramba, and possibly Paragon, Vault Earth, and home in the Rookery. However he does like transporting people to his Constructs. He unashamedly uses other people's dreams to inspire him to create interesting Vortal locations, and can move people into them at will, so if you're in a group and suddenly someone vanishes, it's likely his doing. These constructs are incredibly accurate and tangible, so it's possible for him to move someone into a space that looks and feels exactly like where they just were. Unlike his family however, these constructs do not remain behind when he 'closes' them, they're unique every time. (He does have his own, but no one else gets to go there.) | |
Skills or Profession: Dyllon is a therapist, yes, but he's also an entertainer to a degree, and loves to explore. He's had downloads to help him control the finer points of a psyche, in addition to the education he's had at Carramba. His mind is quite discerning, and he is not forgetful. It's possible that his own Construct is filled with notes and memoires, acting as his own Sancturary or library of memories. His mental map is extraordinarily good, and his memory for places, their look and feel, as well as smell and texture, overall sensation of being in a location anywhere, is remarkable. He requested specific classes and instruction on architecture, interior design, landscaping, and environment crafting for this reason. Dyllon's ability to mess with minds is legendary, but he doesn't specifically go out to prank people - particularly not ones that don't deserve it. | |
Personality: Overall he is a witty, helpful young man. He seems overtly distractible and a bit flighty at times, but that's because he is honestly looking around trying to find who needs his help, or who he wants to learn from. He is an experience junkie, in fact, and will ask before digging into someone's memories of places they'd been or their childhood lives. | |
Events or History: Among the group of "third generation" inhabitants of the Rookery, Dyllon has the benefits of going between dimensions at will. So he's perhaps one of the most widely traveled kids around, and will treat friends to 'home movies' of his experiences. Though his half-sister helped instruct him on some aspects of his powers, he takes lessons from everyone and anyone, wandering around the Grounds as a kid positively enamored of all the tricks and stunts that people could do. He wandered away one day, and came back with a hatchling dragon that has grown into one of the most magnificent creatures in the Rookery (well - look at them!) He and Adena reside in the Mansion, though he like many with his skills has a dorm around the rest of the facilities, in the Rookery, North Aperture (on the surface dwellings), and a dorm that he reaches with teleportation in Rapture. Adena will not even attempt to enter the undersea location. | |
