[original biography] Once part of the oldest Matrix program. Charybdis, a low-level reformat program, accidentally the whole sector, and almost died in the process. However, she has remained through each subsequent reboot and become more and more aware of who she used to be, and what she'd done. She seeks out her fractured, fragmented personality shards, in the hopes that her distant memories can be placed back together. Charybdis is an unusual member of the Convocation indeed. Though a few of the existing folks there can claim to be 'non Human' in some form, she can actually say she isn't real at all at times. Keeping in mind that some of the places that Paxton, Melissa and the others visited were fictional to 'someone' (not necessarily them, as they are also fictional to some worlds) arriving at the 5th Matrix was a bit of a shock to the group of Humans. Charybdis was already well-known among her own kind - known and feared because of her extremely powerful reformat abilities. But her own energies can be seen with Vortal senses, those which the Convocation have in spades. At the point when the group meet up with Charybdis, she already has a few interesting things going for her: for one, she's got both a digital presense in the Matrix, and a constructed Human-cybernetic body in Zion. And a dragon. The dragon stays in its own section of the 'real' world, in the Power Plant's general vicinity. Because he's also got friends in (some version of) Paragon City, the group understood how to actually get there, due to him. It was obvious that Chary would become part of their supergroup, once they'd arrived to Paragon. Charybdis is a friendly sort, though a bit weird. |
