Name: Gloriell

Gender: Female, timidly bisexual

Age/DOB: technically 4, aged, appears late teens, RY5

Origin: Repurposed Earth, however was created specifically for use in the Rookery

Family: all ELLs are her siblings, she's on the very youngest side of them both in terms of created recently as well as not being aged into adulthood and instead is more a mid to late teenager

Other: It's not really clear whether she has interest in doing 'normal born human stuff', but she does enjoy close time with friends

Height: 5'5"

Weight: pff. She's a literal reed, though she is considerably stronger than she looks, or has any right to be with that slender build

Hair: nearly-black brown, straight and fluffy but kept pretty short, she likes hiding behind it, but also likes to be seen as fashionable

Eyes: brightly blue, small and intense, stronger color than most ELLs

Appearance: tan skinned with no overt implants visible, and no barcodes. She is much shorter than her slender build makes her look, with long legs and long arms and a long slender neck. She likes the close fitting outfit as shown but also has full on nightclub wear, evening gowns, and loves dressing up for events... and she's super glad that she gets to lead those events. She has a bolder voice when she's giving tours, than when she's 'off work'.

Genetic Abilities: as most ELLs she is better-than-baseline Vortal with the ability to sense her siblings at nearly any distance. But she also has a strong empathy that she uses to make sure that the people she's working with are happy and well settled, detecting anything wrong with great ease. She works best with small groups of under 10 people, though if you throw in anyone with Vortal powers, they 'take up more space' and she can only handle actually working on 3 or 4 at best. She has a soothing demeanor and this is definitely part of her Vortal powerset.

Icarus Processing: Yes, while she was being incubated. The processing reduced her weight to pff, and has strengthened her bones, joints, and muscles tremendously. She is around 2.5x stronger than most humans, and can withstand physical damage such as bashing and falling with virtually no damage, and her fingers are particularly strong. She is also tremendously agile, when she uses a portal gun she is simply amazing with it. Though she tends not to do so, because honestly she likes finding a spot high up in the rafters and catwalks, and diving to join her dragon below... nearly half a kilometer below... She does seem quite able to breathe gasses, toxic air, though not water she can hold her breath for hours... or maybe she just doesn't need to breathe.

Skills or Profession: Tour guide and logistics expert on-site at the Hoyle enclave. He actually has stated for the record that he'd liked to have had her on board before the world went to shit, and enjoys her company as a person and not just as a cleanup crew or background helper. She can organize people and keep them moving, understands a lot more psychology than she lets on, and gives Silver and Argent a run for their money if they're playing any kind of competitive game (or... betting on those games). She can navigate in 3 dimensions with ease, though she is a bit scared to be outdoors - she much prefers the interiors of the Enrichment Center and Rookery because there are landmarks she can memorize.
Personality: Clever, clear thinking, and highly adaptive. Though she runs the same tour over and over, and generally spends time resetting any given spot for its next use, Gloriell caters each and every group differently. She takes great care in customizing their experiences, so that no one who meets up will say 'oh yeah and then we went to that next place' there's always a twist here and there to make their experiences unique. And though she does enjoy her work tremendously, she's never been a 'nose to the grindstone' type. She likes doing it, and also likes being able to take breaks. She'll play billiards and poker, as often as race remote control cars or have a spa day.

Events or History:

Resides full time at Hoyle's Enclave within the North Aperture site. She handles recreational activities, and makes sure that tour groups are kept safe. She and Pearl actively match the setting of the lagoon and upper pool, visually, and this is by design.

Dragon

Name: Pearl Diver
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Large (big and broad) 13'6" s / 60' l / 100' ws
Colors: chin, neck, belly, behind limbs, tail very dark grey-blue; face, neck stripe, limbs dark grey; face armor, dorsal /back to tail, wing arms base color is richly indigo-blue black, dotted with faint aquamarine mottling dust along spine and over wing fingers - this looks like the dappling of light through deep water; dotting and fringe armor, wing armor bright sky to medium blue*; dorsal insets, horns, spines, claws nearly-black graphite; wingsails tan that is slightly lighter orange-rust at tips, with dorsal-only filigree indicating his Royal line in white; eyes cyan; Yes, those are pearl earrings in his ears
Features: Seawing Mudwing hybrid, royal line Sea though mostly Mud in build and appearance, coloration is strongly Sea
Powers: Seaborn Flight and Adaptation, Pearl doesn't much care for trying to fly in air, except that he has done so on Xen, and likes the lighter gravity there. His wings are ideally suited to working in water, and as a mostly-Mud appearing dragon he uses them to propel himself through even thick mud or slush as though it was clear. He doesn't lack muscularity for those wings, but his body is so big that lifting off into the air is just not gonna happen. Under water, however, if given a deep area, he likes to go vertical, shooting down or up as needed. However, he can take protected people on tours, in a harness on his neck, and lifts almost exactly like an elevator, perfectly balanced, even if there are stiff currents or unexpected tidal pulls. He has an incredibly good sense of depth, though is unaffected by it thanks to his Seawing side. He does have gills along his heavy neck, which allow him to spend most of his time below the surface, and he can handle very cold waters, along with the hot volcanic vents and unusual terrain found in extreme depths. He can see easily in murky or deep water, thanks to his *reflective patches and armor, anything that is that sky blue color is bright under the waves, and gives off enough of a glow to be able to illuminate around 20 meters around him. He produces a lovely deep-Shaft light show, seen from the Enclave's glass-floored observation area above.
Communication, Pearl is adept with Aquatic signs, and Draconic voiced communication, but he prefers Vortigese and English to those. While he doesn't have a Vortal component to his knowledge of Vort, he's quite smart and knows there is 'more to it' than just the rumbling words.
Sea Animal and Silt Manipulation, he can unerringly spot living things in the waters, no matter what kind of water or creature they are. If there is a nervous system - so not a plant particularly, but animals - he can detect it with sensitive cells. Electronics tend to disrupt this, so it's clearly a naturally occurring feature. This sense is accurate at 50 meters or less only, but he can detect large creatures such as whales, large sharks, Ichthys, and other dragons at 200 meters. He can also tell the difference between Xenian and Earthly (and Pyrrhan) items, the 'dirt' on Earth is very different from the spongy ... stuff that passes for it on Xen, and his homeworld's soil is somehow more familiar to him. He can root around in reefs without damaging them, even at his size, somehow able to float just beyond the delicate corals, and collect items such as pearls from oysters or clams. Or, root easily through the wreckage below the Enrichment Center's Shafts and Spheres, for unbroken (well, soggy) monitors, clothing, mugs, or whatnot. He is fascinated by the items, and has his own hoard of them.
Self Healing, his Mudwing parent wasn't able to teach him how to apply to others, but he does have strong healing that he can use on himself as long as he has access to a decent amount of silt or mud. He has hardly had need for this, but eventually he wants to learn to use it on others, because the Shafts are filled with dragons that do go out into dangers. But it will never be his primary use or skill.
Parentage: As below, a Royal Seawing and a Talons of Peace Mudwing mother; unrelated to any at the Rookery right now, but he is quite handsome, and royalty here means something different than back home! here, it's more pretty markings!
Origin: Adopted from GuildKnight on Deviantart, WoF by Tui Sutherland
Other Info: (from adoptable) The bastard child of one of Queen Coral's sons and a MudWing Talons of Peace member, Coral uses him as a pearl diver kept far away from the court; she doesn't want the embarrassment of admitting she has a hybrid grandchild. He doesn't really care; he likes going down into the deep for the rare orbs
Pearl is very much a believer in pretty things making life worth living. And there are some really amazing things down in the depths of Aperture's Testing Shafts... but maybe that's also just bleed over from Xen, because that water is definitely not local. Actually he likes drifting around in the half-Xenian stuff, because it is the same color as his reflective patches. You can only see the dark parts of him when he's in it. Also, it offers automatic healing, and he knows that if he starts healing other dragons with his mud power, it will be from silt around these pools instead of the rust-and-asbestos filled Aperture dirt.
