Other: Single, sort of looking, but then again she grew a fucking tail and furry ears during the Resonance Cascade... thing... so who the hell is gonna want that?

Height: 6'3" - extremely tall for a woman, even taller when you consider otter DNA would make her legs shorter?

Weight: 170, including tail, though she had been considerably bigger before the RC and she's lost a lot of weight while working in the field like this; right now, she's probably at her fittest

Hair: strongly red, almost metallic copper in the sun, kept quite short but nicely styled; this is also the same color as her furry bits, such as her ears, a strip down her spine, pubic hair, tail, and bits around her ankles and wrists (this is why she wears gloves, to hide it)

Eyes: larger than normal and heavily slanted, pale blue, under thin dark eyebrows; she appears to be able to see in dim light now

Appearance: she had been a little lighter in skin color before the Resonance Cascade changed her DNA, now it's a bit more pinkish-rust, and she keeps worrying that any freckles she gets might sprout fur. Her face has changed, though her lips were always full and pretty, but now she has animal-like ears, the slightest of fangs to her teeth, and clawed finger and toe nails; the most obvious change to her biology is the tail, which is long and very muscular like an otter's (and not like a wolf's which the image hints at); she still wears her SWAT uniform, but has had to cut a tail hole in all her clothing...

Genetic Abilities: Though she started out apparently normal, 3 years before arrival to the Rookery when the Resonance Cascade swept over their world, Bobbie literally sprouted ears and a tail, and gained strong 'ice-based' abilities. An examination of her DNA reveals strong similarities to otters, beavers, and other water-based mammals. She has claws which can do a minor but obvious amount of damage, on all four limbs, and her bite will absolutely pierce skin. She does have a penchant for chewing on pieces of wood, though often stops herself when she realizes she's doing it. She can swim for hours without tiring, even in rapids or turbulent shallow water, but doesn't tend to go out on larger deeper lakes or oceans if she can avoid that.* She could easily float for days, on her back, like an otter... But she can dive, hold her breath, and actually propel herself very swiftly under the surface, and particularly loves doing this just under thin ice so she can erupt above it and surprise people. She doesn't need ice skates to play hockey any more, though also she's a bit sad that there's no ice rink here in Vegas?! She definitely plans on refitting one of the local high school track areas to be an outdoor artificial pond, and with some help freeze it over! She can produce ice, generally in the form of collected water nearby, she can literally 'walk on water' with it. This has less impact in the desert, but she's learned to use it to soak up nearby water, freeze it, and then have Castor actually carry it to a new destination so it can be purified and shared. This power can be used to freeze solidly, up to about a swimming pool's volume - not an olympic one, but a backyard sized pool. It melts at a normal rate, but she can also manipulate it while it's frozen and given her artistic talent, has been able to create properly beautiful ice sculptures for some of the hotels on the Strip. Bobbie doesn't get cold, particularly in wet chill, but the deserts often dry her sinuses out terribly with the lack of moisture.
Skills or Profession: A decent enough student, bilingual with French and English, she decided to enter civil service in Detroit to keep an eye on the riots and dangers there. It was only a couple years later that she was transferred into the St Louis department. Keeping tabs on the various escapees or monitoring dangerous standoffs for the local Aperture meant she had to file a lot of paperwork, but also got regular workouts in the field, she can recognize body language of someone who is scared, aggressive, distracted, and the like. She can use security equipment of most designs, and actually thinks the 'cute retro' look of the Robco and other such devices is fun to work with. She can use small firearms, up to shotguns, with good accuracy. But she's learned how to use her ice powers at a distance as well, on the rare occasion that she can, to attack enemies. At this point she is good with navigating the ruins, chatting up locals, hiding her 'deformities' under hats and trenchcoats. Operating the monorail system, PA loudspeakers, and the like, from the NCR depot. When she and Castor are on patrol, it's in order to make notes about buildings to explore, destroy, rebuild, or inhabit. Notably since Castor really enjoys this activity, they are frequently found 'dousing for water', and Castor will point out a likely spot for her to manipulate, and the dragon digs out the resulting ice. She has a lot of artistic talent, and is very creative, so at some point she'll likely be tapped to design buildings, help build them, once they're finished lugging out all the rubble. She is shit at gambling, and knows better than to partake at the casinos in Vegas.
Personality: Loving, courageous, contemplative, and typically well-mannered among her peers or people that seem to look to her for guidance. However, earlier in her life she was rather combative, escapist; she'd realized that she was gay right around high school, and was all but kicked out of her family. The moment she could she left and didn't look back, and would snub contact because of their behavior toward her. She will eagerly protect those who she sees as underdogs, for this reason. She is the type to over-analyze a situation when it pertains to her personally, but is quick witted about any on-the-job work. She doesn't much care for loud music, or music in general, so when she does work for those casinos and hotels on the Strip she usually makes sure that it's while the din is at a low level, and gets out reasonably quickly.

Events or History: *when she was a child, she nearly drowned due to falling through thin ice across a very large lake, and though she loves ice skating and hockey, she mistrusts deep water ever since then. When her family moved to the USA they still spoke a liberal mixture of French and English, and she was always kind of curious as to why her school friends didn't. She's hardly ever noticed national borders or patriotism, so the whole 'commie menace' thing pervading MoCon is a bit confusing to her. Perhaps her superiors knew that her DNA was different? Aperture's experiments went sideways when she'd been on the SWAT team less than a year, so obviously she was affected and things got even weirder. She would like to know for sure, whether they were assigned to the same detail because of that, or if it was all coincidental. She had grown a tail before the group was moved to the Rookery, after all.

If she decides to do so, she might move up to Jacobstown and enjoy the snow-capped hills, if the Supermutants approve. But that's later... For now, she and Castor reside in and work out of the former NCR depot located at the northern end of the Strip in New Vegas. They wander the entire area regularly, however, and help frequently with the efforts to clean out all the rubble, separate materials, and obviously distributing water to where it's needed.

Name: Castor, AKA 'Busy Beaver'

Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium-large (bulky) 14' s / 60' l / 96' ws
Colors: face, neck, belly, forelimbs, and behind hind limbs, under tail to tip is a dusty mauve-beige, with slightly ligher limbs, and a dusting of brown framing all other areas; face armor, neck and back, wing limbs, back of tail, and hind limbs rich dark brown; inset and fringe armor paler mauve-cream; wingsails medium brown unmarked; back markings and spikes/ridges stronger mauve; horns, claws slightly darker mauve; eyes very pale blue
Features: Pure Mudwing
Powers: Winged Flight, though most Mudwings are ... well, shall we say less than elegant in the air, Castor is still a very strong flier. She requires a good amount of space to take off and land, and since she is rather large and hefty, with those wings producing quite a bit of wind, she is alternately warned away from straying too close to construction areas, or brought in for demolition work. Just her landing near a wobbly wall will certainly collapse it, but then she will help scoop up and move the rubble! Those big wings are definitely strong enough to withstand rough edges of concrete and stone, brickwork, and the rest that may come from a ruined building, and she's strong enough to move it with her wings held scoop-like over her rump, over to a quarry or separating area. She does still prefer to walk wherever needed, she's less familiar with the overhead view of the Strip, than many other dragons for that reason. She clearly can carry a massive amount of weight, both in the air and on the ground, and pulls not just one train car at a time, but entire loaded bins of them down remade track.
Communication, Castor is adept with speaking Draconic of several world-varieties, but also claims that the Deathclaws in the area are quite a bit smarter than people realize, and has tried to take up conversations with them. Since she's... well, huge, they will cower before trying to run away, and don't bother attacking. She can speak English with ease, a deep booming voice befitting such a dragoness, but also she's picked up the spare bits of French that her human friend speaks.
Memory, though not particularly a Vortal talent, as she lacks any except a minor empathic connection to Bobbie, Castor has what can be called a 'beaver's memory', she knows just where any given piece of rebar or tree branch has been left, and navigates the ground and even waterways, or through the canyon areas of the desert, with ease. If something is out of place, she'll try tracking it down - and though it's a little difficult getting screens or images big enough for her to play with, she is really good at 'find the difference' games.
Fire Breath, though most Mudwings have a decent enough ability, Castor's fire is pretty weak. It's enough to warm an area up, certainly, but nothing like those big fighting dragons anywhere.
Mud Manipulation, also though many Mudwings are adept with 'healing mud' magic, the most she can manage is 'finding' mud - and out here in the desert, that does mean finding water, which she's quite proud that it's a skill that serves as well as it does. She can sense at a distance of over 200 meters that there is some liquid, if it's more than a few gallons. (Anything less than that just doesn't even show up, but if there are many buckets near each other, that will ping.) She can to a certain extent 'clean' muddy liquid, but not toxins or bacteria.
