Name: Djinn Vahh Gender: Male, technically not supposed to have interest but he's definitely bi Age/DOB: immortal, unknown how old Origin: a fantasy-based Earth where magic is present but almost forgotten, and the gods were likely visiting aliens Family: none directly, but he is capable of having one - that would be very dangerous for him given the restrictions on his people... Other: he is a djinn, a genie, who has dedicated himself not to living in a lamp and emerging only when discovered, but instead to seeking out those in need. Sometimes those transfer into longer term relationships and he relishes them Height: 6'2", varies Weight: varies, since he can effectively shapeshift he can weigh whatever he likes; also, he floats, so ... Hair: richly black with bluish tint, straight, kept long to his mid-back in a tail, prominent widows peak, and with an elegantly kept beard as shown Eyes: glowing turquoise, under fancy arched brows Appearance: in his human guise, he has tanned skin and sharply chiseled features as shown, though he does always have a bit of an exotically inhuman appearance, and yes those claws are how his hands look; he wears robes and tunics, with poofy-pants and curled shoes, traditionally associated with djinn; he has a deep, resonant, and incredibly spooky voice, but it can be toned magically |

Icarus Processing: no, he's a djinn. He doesn't need it. Plus he's a Vahh, so his similarities to Keenan and others of that crowd don't end with his level of power or age.
Genetic Abilities: as a djinn, he is capable of altering reality to suit his whim, or more accurately, can be bid to do so by someone else. Though he has astonishingly strong power in that regard, able to literally create and destroy matter, move through time to a degree, and even shatter whole worlds - his abilities are limited directly by restrictions on his kind imposed by ... well, whoever? The rules are there to keep these creatures from destroying the entire universe, after all. He has chosen to forego the 'requirement' that he be bound to an object, and has been on the radar of those overseeing his kind for that reason. He chooses his own 'master', and because they have uniformly been those who have suffered or are in dire need, rather than those that would request things to add to their own wealth or destroy others, he has remained on the 'good' spectrum. He suggests courses of action, but must still obey once he's declared himself aligned with that person. Within that time he's able to do whatever they want, though he can decline things that openly disrupt the rules.
Skills or Profession: a djinn, seeking those in need. He used to serve other species and civilizations, sometimes to their doom - which is why he's chosen this path. He can be virtually anyone or anything, and effectively instantly knows 'how' to be that thing. It's magic. For every one djinn in this dimension, there are probably 100 million normal people, so it's 'possible' to encounter one, just very rare.
Personality: quiet, sometimes seems sullen or even angry at things beyond his control. But he is very much dedicated to the welfare of children and those desperate - sometimes those unable to call for help. He is wise, but often keeps his thoughts to himself. He does resent the behaviors of some of his kin, those who simply do whatever they're told regardless of how damaging that wish might be to others, and has wound up cleaning up after the messes of others.
Events or History: similarly to Keenan and other Vahh, he began his existence long, long ago, and has been in many forms. However all of those have relied on being on a planet, not always like Earth. Anywhere which has societies and dreams, they have been. After a long stint serving creatures that were... eerily similar to the Combine, he quit that gig and went rogue. He has supporters among his kind, however, and they continue to subvert those that only want to serve that kind of beastly greed. Many of his kind are openly evil, some pranksters and chaos-spreaders, and then there's him and maybe a small handful of those who try to do good among that mess. On his current world, humanity has resided for nearly 2 million years as an intelligent, societal species - but they have 'forgotten' themselves on numerous occasions, not least because they keep wishing themselves different. It is out of the rubble of one such remake, that he's been most dedicated to his tasks of finding children in need, folk in distress, and giving them the help they require without outright imbalancing the world again. Dragons have existed in some form on that world, it does have magic after all, but the pet-like Siad is not from Earth. |
