Gender: Female, Lesbian

Age/DOB: 25ish, early 2000s

Hair: medium brown with brighter and darker strands, fluffy, kept short as shown

Appearance: creamy skin tone which bronzes in the sun, full dark lips and a long-legged proportion; prefers wearing gear that helps her stay both clean and protected, and likes boots

Genetic Abilities: none known

Icarus Processing: no, likely wouldn't benefit, but might be a better candidate for Pythagoras suppliments, given her clever thinking and ability to work with distances and angles

Skills or Profession: Though she's mostly around for harvesting and distribution of goods, Bree is exceptionally good with number crunching and tactics. She has fitted Dzuruth with a hand-made saddle designed out of the horse saddles and a bit of imagination, and may start working on other such saddles and harnesses when others are in need. She'll need more cow hide for that - thankfully there are wild cattle! Bree is a decent shot with a bow and arrow, crossbow, or long barreled rifle, but doesn't shy away from using a knife or machete for keeping headcrabs or small antlions away from her. Enjoys her work, but wow it's not easy because counting antlion haunches can get confusing - especially when Scooby's making off with one.
Personality: She seems laid back, easy to get along with, but that's mainly because she's so exhausted from keeping Scooby away from the food stores that she just has to smile and nod and wave. She is known to interrupt herself while talking to someone, because she knows that Scoob is out there sniffing around the watermelons again.

Events or History: One of the closer locals to the Ranch, her family never bothered with a City - they were already used to living on a ranch, and a number of their extended family and ranch hands, migrant or otherwise, were among those who found themselves near Black Mesa after the Combine arrived. Since her family knew how to run such locations, they geared up a few other folks and headed to the Ranch when they saw it in a little pamphlet in the Black Mesa Visitor's Center. A random portal storm took her younger brother, but her mother still encourages her to 'do what you do' over at the Ranch. They have a close connection, and because Bree is responsible for the occasional delivery and resource management between the Ranch and Black Mesa, they have regular contact. Her mother is completely unsurprised to see Bree on a dragon.

Pet: Scooby, no one really knows what the hell these 'dogs' are, but he's clearly very dog-like. He enjoys watermelons and headcrabs alike. Bonus when they're together! He is a more or less muted, mossy green-grey shade, darker along his spine and back, lighter with tan-creamy marks on sides and legs. Also, he is 'a messy eater'. Wonder why he was named Scooby?

Dragon

Name: Dzuruth
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium, Pernese Blue 11' hip Bipedal / 40' l / 65' ws
Colors: Deep ocean blue body speckled with paler blue, wingsails sky and dusty blue, crest white-cream; eyes change with mood
Features: Mutated Pernese, bipedal by virtue of his parents not having forelegs in the first place, and his whole clutch somehow got them; feet have three 'fingers' and a thumb on fore, and heel toe on hind, claws but not visible; wings have three internal fingers, arms are visible, no claws, no wrist feature; hide is thick and requires oil or shedding frequently; head is pointed nose with jaw nubs, faceted eyes that colorshift, and tall proto-Ryslen crest; tail is featureless and long; Any offspring will inherit the Pernese '-TH' naming, as well as other features such as color-dominant ranking.
Powers: Winged Flight, a strong flier Dzuruth enjoys being in the air as much as running around the Ranch with his new found rider. He is quite good at flying in strong winds and duststorms, which are common in this area. He easily carries Bree as well as being able to hold on to other people or goods with his front leg hands.
Teleportation, can move between, or to other dimensions (notably Healing Den), though needs good visuals to go anywhere, and must rely on either another dragon or Bree's mental urging to do it. He can instinctively go between, but he often winds up stuck at the Den, since he'd spent so long there alone.
Firebreath, as many formerly-Pernese dragons who lived at the Healing Den for any length of time can do, he no longer requires the use of coal or firestone to chew, in order to belch up a chemically-active burning agent. His is not particularly accurate, but in the case of splattering hot plasma-like snotballs on to either Combine soldiers or Antlion guards, no one's going to fault him.
Telepathic Speech, he's able to clearly think to his new rider, and to other dragons. Though he's bold now, it took a while for him to warm up to the idea of having another bond, after his Impressed left him at the sands. He knows there are a couple others from his clutch at the Rookery, so he isn't totally alone in this regard. His mind echoes with a little bit of sadness, but with Bree's encouraging presence, he is ready to shoo Scooby away from the food, and do his duty to the Rookery!
Parentage: White Trymmeth and Blue Jeremoth (both Seascape Weyr)
Origin: Lost Clutch, held in stasis and subsequently abandoned at Healing Den
Other Info: Dzuruth is protective and sensible, and was instantly attracted to Bree even though there's something weirdly sad about it all. He doesn't truly remember actually being abandoned, only that he was alone after the initial moments of bonding. He has a craptastic memory, thus his need to be guided when teleporting.
