River Blessed - Urano is named 'sweet water of the inlets and fields' for a reason. Somewhere in his lineage a river god or godling strongly affected his family, and he inherited the abilities it granted. As he seems to currently be the only living member of that family, any and all power that it had granted them has collected into him. Everything about his person has a water-like feel, from how gracefully he moves, his long hair seeming to float along as if in water, and the sheer crushing force of his magic or even just his voice. Thus the powers he has below are all part of this spirit-granted (or spirit-born) element. He uses his voice mainly to enact specific 'spells' and effects, though he can move or gesture to do so when needed or for less obvious casting, and his voice is tremendously flexible. In order to use these abilities there must be some amount of water near him, be it an ocean or a faucet or even a water cooler. He carries a bottle with water at all times, as well. This source isn't actually used, but it enables his power to work wherever he is for a short time. The more water, the better and more impactful the power is. At all times, he can sense the nearby volumes of water (so while he's walking around campus he can feel where the plumbing and sprinkler systems are, people's water in bottles, etc) up to about 1 km. There are other powers, these are ones that he teaches.
-- Rapids Carry Away, this command brings a rough, chilled volume of water and hits things with a massive force, enough to punch holes in large walls or move entire parking lots full of cars around. Obviously he is careful to use this only against specific enemies or locations which won't sustain too much property damage, but he is also capable of making small eddies and pockets of safe current within it while it's moving, to spare any people or animals damage
-- Waterfall's Tumbling, if it's in the air, it is no longer in the air with this command uttered. A slightly lighter-volume than Rapids, but pointing at the ground from ... somewhere above, a literal waterfall blasts things down and can take out full size jets at its absolute maximum power. This is also quite selective, he can part the waters like they're a curtain or as if blocked by a rock in that waterfall, keeping some flying things up while jostling others away
-- Pure Sweet Water Makes The Best Tea, he can purify an amount of water. Though it's becoming slightly harder these days to really find either badly tainted water or large volumes anyway since most of Twoarth has done a good job of keeping their pollution to a minimum. He recalls days when this wasn't the case, particularly in industrialized areas of the Asian continents. What happens to the impurities? Who knows, it might be actual molecular or even atomic transformation
-- Mists Are Bright Shadows, a gentle fog or light mist begins to creep in around an area, up to about a football field size at most (including stands height, it is a volume). This can be really thick, impossible to see through, or just enough to make things sparkle or become slightly moist as it's being passed through. This is a terrific spell during heat or arid waves down in Crescent City, enough to take the burn out of the sun's heat
-- Ice Flows By Cutting Stone, this can be deadly but it definitely makes an impact. He can produce splashes of ice, up to what equates to a 'spear' in size but usually around 'shuriken', that are extremely hard and not brittle unless he needs them to be nonlethal. He can also create a single scythe-like swath of this sharp ice, moving it around himself as a saber dance. Ice from this spell will definitely cut through virtually anything - cloth, flesh, trees, thin metal, brick, stone... And then melt away, no evidence of it except what it left cut up
-- Pull And Tug Rocks The Boat, altering the current and direction of water, generally requires enough depth for there to be a current to alter. Can propel small craft, stabilize or capsize kayaks or rowboats easily, and push or direct heavier ships even up to a cruise liner if and only if their engines aren't also running (or running cross purpose to the current). This can be great for saving shipwreck victims or moving predators away from prey in the water, as long as he can sense where things are within it he can even be very selective about 'shoving that shark' or 'retrieving that necklace' |

He doesn't play favorites, you might see him wearing Japanese clothing one day, Korean or even Balinese outfits the next, or have his hair up in a Mongolian manner only to be serving a Nepalese dinner later on
Languages +3 He speaks with force, with power, and with numerous languages in mind. He can easily speak dialects of Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese, as well as proficiency with Urdu, Nepalese, Mongol, Indonesian languages, and English. He's able to understand and get by using a very wide variety of Human speech, though if the culture has been water-faring longer, they are easier so he does know quite a bit of Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Portugese, and Pacific Island languages |

It Doesn't Get Tangled +3 His hair has a life of its own, and will at times even seem to be displaying his ire, his attraction, or other emotions and moods without him noticing; he can comb it down and leave it sparkling if needed, but he does have spells for cleaning it up and making it presentable without even touching it
Still Can Swim +3 Even though he's certainly part-spirit, his body is toned and quite muscular from actually being in water and swimming, training with fishermen and playing with dolphins alike, swimming up rapids, or diving deeply in pure dark caverns. His form is deceptive, but then so is the surface of a lake. You never know how deep it goes, or how strong the current is a few feet below... |

Colors: belly from chin to upper tail and behind legs pale slightly-teal white; main body including face, neck, wing arms, limbs, and tail pale sparkle-scaled celadon green; armor on limbs, face, back, and wing fingers deep teal green with lighter grades with celadon; wingsails shiny frost-edged metallic green with very high contrast so it looks markedly brighter or duller as the light hits the undersides, backs of wings are more evenly frosted sparkly celadon; horns, spines, claws aqua blue-green darker or lighter depending on the light; black with aqua eyes
Features: Pure Icewing, possibly with a Rainwing grand or great-grandparent due to the tiny glittering scales and strong reflectivity of wings
Powers: Winged Flight, even in the chillest winds, and biting blizzard, Frostborn's wings will carry him wherever he needs to be. With large sharp spines on his back and neck, it's a little difficult for him to carry others, but he still gets it done usually with a harness or protective gear for them
Icebreaking Swimming, since he is an Icewing he is fully capable of deeply diving into near-frozen water, and emerging from iced-over areas by bashing it with his neck or tail first. He suffers no damage from the very cold water, though he does need to breathe he can hold his breath for an hour or more of modest activity below the surface
Verbal Speech, Frostborn speaks in a chilly cracking-iceberg of a voice, clearly in English and Draconic, and is learning to understand but unlikely to speak some of the languages his partner speaks more regularly
Ice Adapted, those claws and spines are there to break and shape ice, and he can manipulate chunks of ice with his paws to craft items without them melting on contact. He is an artisan, not a warrior, but that won't prevent him from being able to smack a chunk of ice at an enemy with force enough to bowl them over. He doesn't slip on ice, and has no trouble wading through 6 or 8 feet of snowdrifts, and can see in blizzard conditions
Frost Breath, he can freeze water or even humid air in place, coat areas with a slick invisible frost, immobilize moving things feet with a chilly breeze from his lungs; best around 50 meters or closer for any of those things

Other Info: Was reasonably young when he arrived to Twoarth, but remained in the Rocky Mts for a while before braving the warmer and dry air down on the coast. He isn't all that comfortable right here, but with all the godlings and magic as well as the technology keeping Carramba 'environmentally friendly' to all inhabitants, he is all right coming out to play since he has a nice cool, even icy spot reserved up in the hills. |
