Rybamack Rufasilex |
Name: Rybamack Rufasilex
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: large (adult, note not bipedal) 17' s / 90' l / 110' + 70' + 40' ws
Colors: Starry, body creamy sparkling champagne with flecks of brighter off-white and a rich cream base; floof brightly yellow-gold with strong orange-yellow depths; mane, tail, leg floof creamy yellow-gold fading to almost white at ends; horns/claws steel; shoulder armor gold; eyes indigo blue
Features: Triwing Danachian/Hathian/Piralan Mutt + Piralan Asandus as shown, furry with much floof; three pairs of wings each nested and slightly smaller, buttwings aid stability
Powers: Winged Flight, look, if there's one thing Rybamack does, it's lift. Lifting spirits or mood, or up into the air, she cannot help but be sky high even if she's walking in the halls. With the way that she can control her own body heat, too, that adds to her ability to take flight at half-a-breath notice, and more she doesn't disturb things with a wake of wind, her wings seem to just absorb the air around and use it to fly even swifter. She needs virtually no space to take off or land, for this reason, she just foofs right up into the air; at her size she's very good with heavy lifting, and for sure she helps with field trips for that reason! She isn't remarkably fast all that said, but that's fine, because you gotta take the time to appreciate the trip!
Teleportation, if you need speed this is available too, because what happens if you're on a trip and something goes sideways? That's right, you gotta get help and get home a-sap. With her massive wings and fluff easily nestled on, she can concentrate and take basically a whole school bus or camp site with her, to a safe 'landing' location near the magic studies area. As she grows up she does find new spots to point her power, but rarely just teleports anywhere for the sake of it
Communication - Telepathy, Verbal Speech, she will listen first, speak after in her turn - and as below, she's definitely one to confide in. Her telepathy is good but close range, and so she tends to use it only to communicate with her friend Maverick or other nearby dragons; she has a twang and an enjoyable resonance to her voice, when she's cheery you know it! Equally when she's serious, you'll sense it in her tone
Avengaean Functional Magic, while she has a reasonable amount of teachers available for learning how best to control innate magic fields like hers, she doesn't really concentrate on it so much as her other more physical traits; she will likely master only the ability to form simple crystalline items with it, that others may find pretty, useful to enchant, or as a memento
Body Heat Control, Summon Fire Elemental; these are quite a bit more her speed though she sees little use for an 'elemental' except in dire circumstances. Her body heat control is useful on a daily basis, however, with flights over the ocean or into the skies that would normally leave a body chilled or exhausted having very little effect on her normal temperature; she uses it to fly, but also to keep a camp site more or less warm (she can mantle quite a bit of stuff below her wings after all) and even up in the mountains on those few distant trips classes might take, she can help mitigate any dangerous low or even hot temperatures this way
Parentage: Supersyllaba Selamputo and Cemitae Rufasilex
Origin: Nidus Caeligenus / Note that Maverick is her sponsor, not a full bond
Other Info: Don’t you dare tell Rybamack that being emotionally vulnerable and being fiercely independent are contradictory states of being! She’s a dragon that will grow up looking for others who need someone to take them under their wings, to help them through their struggles and heartaches, and then just as equally help them be on their way again stronger than they were before. She’ll always listen, listen closely, and she’ll be a voice for others where they struggle to speak on their own, but her end goal will always be helping them find their own song.
Note that she is entered into Sophomore-level class work, though Carramba is merit-based and not age-based so she'll ease into the more difficult subjects as she feels more comfortable with it |
