Powers

Speed - Pemi can run 10 times faster than normal, attaining around 80 mph and can sustain this for around 20 seconds before she must stop; however, this is paired with a very quick cooldown and restart, so if anyone has ever seen her out of breath it's a rare occasion; often enough she just shows up behind you, not a hair out of place...

Reality Shifting - also known as genrehopping but with a twist, that she can 'fit in' with a localized look. She will always have about the same mass but can appear to be quite tall and muscular, or have manta-ray wings under water, or even become a very bright ball of light (mass equals energy... she doesn't lose any in this form). It is this power that she uses to become a 'monster' or 'whatever else' she needs, just by moving to the dimension that has a feature and returning while still in that form; she can move to and from worlds about once every day, but if she returns in a form, she's stuck with it for about 6 hours

Clusters

Dimensional Awareness +3 Pemi is keenly able to notice differences between dimensions, even if it's so subtle as to confuse experts. She can somehow detect changes in her own molecules or genetics, and has a very specific memory for such things allowing her to duplicate her trips without fussing about writing down details; this gives her a strong edge when choosing 'what to wear' for any given event

Down To The Genes +1 Her ability to change shape is in every way real, she doesn't just look like a furry or a manta, she is those things, for the duration; this is definitely why her Genetic Engineering research class loves her... should she eventually settle down, it might be with a nice Korean boy, or maybe a Dentrassis chef, who knows, but they will make adorable kids together either way!

Skills

Damn Right She's Pretty +4 And if you say 'pretty big' she will smile broadly and punch you in the throat with a fist of iron from another dimension; really she does not need to rely on intimidation to get her way, she can grin, giggle, flutter her eyes, and adopt coy poses that the Modeling class takes note

Spatial Estimation +2 Aside from her ability to move between dimensions, she can also estimate within a very small margin of error things like distance, mass or weight, height, that kind of thing, all of which allows her to move with her remarkable speed and not hit things on the way, arriving exactly where she intends to; she also knows how to use this to space out her bursts of movement, where a rest stop is might determine just how fast she really wants to rush there

Monster For Every Occasion +2 She does keep a list of who might respond best to what appearance; don't bother trying to frighten a Circle of Thorns mage with a demonic shape, they summon demons, duh! But that same demonic shape would cause most thugs to drop their load and renounce evil forever. She also enjoys certain monsters more than most, and definitely shows some amount of attraction to them too

Knacks Compassionate Soul +2 Pemi is a hero at heart, and genuinely wants to help people out. Maybe that comes in the form of stopping a street-corner mugging, or going to an alternate world to make sure that there isn't a better way to solve an argument. Either way, she will go the distance for people even without thanks; she finds whatever way she can, though she does have her limits - you fat shame her, and you're on The List...

Pemi was never a small girl. Her dad could 'Monster Out' and was quite bouncy, while her mother was a pretty standard 'super-strong, super-fast, flier' type. The mutations that combined in their daughter were a bit surprising, then, but given all the rest of the weird crap going on in Paragon at that time it's hardly a stretch to realize it could have been anything. Crey experiments? Sure, they'd captured her dad one time, maybe they injected him with something. Passing meteorites dropping glowing Shivans on Galaxy City? Well, mom did help fight those before they declared Galaxy off-limits, they may have affected her DNA. Both her parents traveled through time and dimensions, thanks to Portal Corp and being recruited to Oroborus later on...

So with that background it is not out of the question that Pemi may even develop other powers as she grows into an adult. Her ability to move between dimensions and 'adapt' herself to them however seems to be the most flexible power set anyone has seen in a long time, at least in Paragon.

Over in Carramba, it's par for the course. They have whole classrooms filled with kids like her! She's been assured - and her folks have also - that the genetics that her professors ask for will never be used to produce more than 'samples': anything else is considered 'a child', and therefore absolutely not okay for a teenager! Notably Lane and other Lane (Nachos California) (she can tell they are the same guy, but there is something slightly different about them, thanks to one of them being slightly younger? she doesn't exactly know how they came to be different but she does call both of them by their right names not to betray their secret identity!) have had a sit down with her folks about this. Crey would want those samples, they will never have them. Ever. Period. End-Of. With confidence, they sent their daughter to school across the country and across dimensions...

She resides in a dorm on campus, though she's considered renting a nice apartment when she's old enough, because she's already had modeling contracts dump a bunch of funds into her local bank account!

(from hatching) "Yeeeaaaahhhh lookit you!"  A sparkling blue Opal fellow, faintly touched by green, came skidding to a halt in front of Pemi Aspect . "You’re perfect, you are! You fit me just right and I’mma be a superhero, just like you!" He beamed, all tiny white teeth. "My name is Oloketh, and you can call me that, but if you make a superhero name you have to give me one, too. Deal?"

They did eventually have to put a name down on that heroic roster! Since Pemi's Junior year was coming to a close and Senior classes were being lined up, Oloketh had been sitting in on numerous classes himself, and had learned a lot in that year and a half. Visits both from Pemi's parents as well as to their home in Paragon put glitter in those white opal eyes every time a hero or supergroup would fly by.

Dragons weren't exactly common over there, but hardly anyone really batted an eye at them. They would be working there on occasion, but had realized that the entire City of Heroes was a bit packed, maybe finding a place closer to Crescent City was going to work best. That modeling contract work nearly doubled when the dragonet was introduced earlier in the season, and with a few experienced lawyers from Alabaster helping them out they hooked up with a 'varied shape fashion house' line. That way, they could both have stylish clothing or a harness that matched, and could weather all manner of heroism, don't forget to add your discount code ASPECT30!

But they did have school hours and then training, it wasn't just posing for photos or gliding over the shoreline looking for back alley muggings. There were more serious crimes and social issues to face. Pemi learned more about how to handle situations without monstering-out, and listened to the careful mind of her dragon. After all, with a dragon that had generations of experience that could be tapped, as well as an extraordinarily keen sense of right and wrong, they had quite a few options.

Semblance was what Pemi chose for herself, since she had been working on fine control over her shifting. And Facet would be the dragon's name, the Opal shine and glittery way his gem-toned hide matched a fine cut of a stone. No one would mistake either of them in or out of their heroic guise, but they knew having a 'public identity' was sure to lead to its own share of conflict. But that's what the legal department could tackle, when Semblance or even just Pemi had a run-in with some Retro or drunk frat boy on the beach. She would make sure to try the talking first, and maybe let Oloketh nudge a skeevy jerk's karmic balance a little, just to make sure they learned from their mistakes.

Oloketh

Name: Oloketh
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: medium-large particularly for a blue, 11'4" s / 48' l / 82' ws
Colors: Radiant Blue, nebula mottled medium to dark blue filled with speckles of red, green, yellow and cyan, with a vibrant green dorsal stripe from nose to wing edges and back of tail; wings continue pattern, with black tips on featherseyes white with black sclera; claws dark
Features: Opal Court purebred with four legs having 3 long sharp claws; two feathered wings with wrist thumb and leading finger edge, plus two smaller wings on hips; features change as they mature
Powers: Winged Flight, bold and strong, flexible and fast, Oloketh does it all
Teleportation, can follow Pemi's lead when she's moving between dimensions, but prefers just teleporting local distances across campus or down to the beach communities
Telepathy, Verbal Speech, eager, chipper, and bright, like his hide, Oloketh is able to listen to but not necessarily direct his mind toward other people than his One. But he is certainly a chatterbox when they get rolling, and he doesn't mind answering questions from nonhumans or those interested in 'all that dragon stuff'. He is made up of all that dragon stuff!
Discern Truth and Lies, this is probably his most important skill, given their choice of career paths. Not merely picking up the right stooge to play truth or dare with, but while dealing with law teams and the occasional courtroom deposition. It's possible that Oloketh will be part of the "Draconic Legal Team" that is still quite young at CHS, but it's growing and he wants to be part of it
Genetic Memory and Trance, tapping everything does require a little time, but he can go through experiences just like you would skip over boring bits in a file
Karmic Weight, Kismet, Oloketh tries to keep things balanced and even, but sometimes he knows there are just people who are almost always going to get the bad end of a deal, or have such weirdly good luck that no one believes their wild stories. He knows their truth, or their fabrication, either way; he can nudge or even 'curse' or 'bless' people when needed, promises of leniency thanks to a good tip, or getting that extra three years added because they got away too many times before being finally convicted, he's interested in justice being carried out properly
Prismatic Breath, concentrating more on immobilizing fleeing criminals, he uses more or less 'blue' breath that slows and chills them so they can be caught more easily
Parentage: Designed by Shan, no direct siblings
Origin: Empyrean Stair Court hatching 2022
Other Info: Heroic, a bit reckless
