Chibi Winter's True Spirit by Starchasm! Chibi (sorta) Retail Retali8r (from Doll Palace! sadly gone in 2017) Note that these are the Chibi Versions of characters who have their own potential other dragons! |

"I don't even know why you brought me here, Rita, it's.... undignified." Winter's True Spirit said as they shuffled toward the Nidus. It was late evening, almost midnight, and both of them, at least according to Winter, had other things they ought to have been doing. Sleeping, perhaps. The chibi-form superheroines traveled via Rita the Retail Retali8r's custom made Oranbegan Portal teleporter, one which she stole from the Circle of Thorns, and they'd wound up in chibi-form somehow. Neither of them knew why they suddenly had huge eyes and stumpy limbs, but they felt okay. Rita chuckled. "Winter, it's fun! It's Halloween anyway, and you look totally all dolled up. I know it's not your season yet but trust me, this will be awesome." Rita was known to be endlessly cheerful to her best friends, and while they'd known one another for only a short time, Rita was interested in Winter's place of origin - a whole plane of Winter? She'd never visit for long, Rita didn't care for the cold. But she had assured Winter that should she really need to travel back to her world, the teleporter (or indeed, Rita, for she was quite good at interdimensional teleportation) could do it. As Winter clopped along with her stubby hooves on the stone floor, she had to keep pulling up her scarf as she continually tripped over it. It hadn't shrunk, but she and Rita had. Rita's insect-like cape also dragged on the ground, but apparently she didn't have any trouble with it. Winter wasn't normally this irate, and it wasn't really that she was truly angry - her friend wanted to bring her somewhere neat. So they went. But it'd been nearly a year since she arrived to Paragon City and she was just so used to fighting that it was hard for her not to be looking for evil. Rita was hardly oblivious to this fact, but assured her that there was something cool on the other end of the corridor. The corridor seemed so very long, at this squat height! They finally arrived and Rita simply opened the big doors, allowing noise and warmth to bathe them both. A party was being held in one room, while in another area there were, she knew, dragon eggs ready to hatch. How'd she know? She had several dragon friends who heard from friends who overheard in the Nexus there was something going on here at Avengaea. Everything seemed quite big at their size now, but that meant simply that the mugs of hot cocoa and spiced cider were that much bigger and more enjoyable! Winter's kept freezing. She was like that. After all, her title - True Spirit - was correct! "I wish I could be dressed up and a kid again," Rita said, "I bet you never trick-or-treated when you were little. Hey.... We are little! Let's go!" Rita gulped back her cider (she was allergic to the milk and couldn't have cocoa) and indicated they should grab a bag and go door-to-door. It wasn't going to be too successful, here at the Nidus, because well, no one had a clue - they weren't even on Earth let alone familiar with American traditions. But maybe next year... Someone might take the hint that this was a cool fun thing for kids to do! But maybe this time they'd find something else while they were bellowing "TRICK OR TREAT!" at the tops of their lungs! |

It was totally spooky. But it was also the most awesome time that chibiRita had ever had! It was a haunted house! Rockin! But chibiWinter was a little on edge. However none of her magical ice or speed tricks were working very well. She was a little nervous but eventually things became apparent - there were some odd people running around scaring folks, but then giving out a dragonet! And at one point, the dragonets dad came along in an angry huff! However that didn't stop the little dragons from coming out of their cavernous holding place and approaching their new friends. One, Flambeth, a firey colored and warm tempered female came toward Winter's True Spirit chibi. She licked the deer-spirit in a friendly way and their bond was sealed. Rita's little friend was as opposite the hot-colored dragonet that Winter had befriended, Flaketh was the name and icy cool was her game. But candy-corn colored wings showed off that she was really a Halloween dragonet. We're the same size! She proclaimed and giggled as they found a place to relax and eat some candy goodies. .

They didn't stay the same size for long. The chibified pair of heroines made it back to a strangely animated Paragon City - animated, like painted. It was not their home universe, but Rita explained that they would probably be best living here with the dragons. And what with them being little and cute, and all. They fit right in. |

And then came this little boy. Neither of the females admitted to knowing him, or where he was from but it was patently clear that they shared at least some similarities with the mutt. He spread holiday cheer, that was at least obvious when he skidded to a halt in front of Flaketh and Flambeth and belched out a version of Jingle Bells which involved spewing snowflakes (he could apparently produce them) and dumping sleet onto things. Yup, Yuleth was here to stay and wondered when he'd have a matching hot-boy to bounce off of. Not that he was like "that", really! Well, maybe! Look at the way the girl dragons um... got along. Snuggling up with Yuleth was something that both girls could agree was a fun activity for the Winter time!
And very shortly, that wondering request was answered! Though he was much more quiet, or tame one might say, Ayzee knew perfectly well he could keep up with the antics of the other three dragons. After all, he alone could turn his whole body to ice, but he could also turn the heat around him up or down. Not outright freeze or melt anything, but that snuggly pile of dragons could get nicely toasty. |
