Black Mesa (of Twoarth) has a cloning division not-quite in competition with the local world's Aperture Science company. Not... quite. Not exactly competing so much as exploring similar venues. That's what they tell themselves and that's what they tell their government funding representitives anyway. Everyone knows it's because they got on the biological research end of things much later than Aperture did. But no one actually says that - at least not at Black Mesa.
Currently in production are several experimental series with code-names or acronyms to keep them straight. This listing is for the Multiple Aptitude Remix project, or the MAR project. As with many clone lines, the basic appearance or underlying body frame are similar but may vary a bit, and the essentially-available abilities may appear with varying frequencies.
The MAR project was sprung from a number of locally sourced donors, usually employees, but also from a few powered individuals. No direct offworld or truly foreign DNA was utilized, but with Twoarth being what it is, that might not mean there aren't influences several generations before the donor.
