Hathian Pack

Residing on Ketvaozh as a group and living within flying range but not easy sight of the starport, this trio of Hathian dragons have made themselves right at home. The tall grasses and slender trees provide a perfect hunting ground, while the rugged and jutting promontory that they have chosen as their roost is both easily defended and superbly crafted for their needs.

While humanoids are welcome to visit, they won't really enjoy staying too long. First because there is no easily climbed method into the living space near the top of the hill, and second because everything inside is suitable for dragons only. Their new little warren is well-protected from aerial attacks even if the top of the promotory is certainly large enough for a landing craft to drop onto. Then that craft would likely be carried off by the dragons.

Survum Name: Survum
Gender: male, chaser
Size: medium 14' s / 70' l / 110' ws
Build: slender and whip-like, but with a strong keel and forebody
Physical Features: Hathian of the longer and leggy type
Colors: White, Gold; body very pale grey with silvery grey patterning; wingsails icy blue-white; armor gold; claws grey, eyes red
Stats: Strength 3, Speed 6, Endurance 4, Agility 4, Health 3, Intelligence 5
Abilities: Winged Flight, if you need it to be there right now, Survum is your boy. He always seems to be at the scene immediately no matter where that scene happens to be. When he takes to the air you know it, though he's not going to jump into a fight he will scout it from above and send for help if needed. Even the pirates know that Survum has his eye on their township not to judge them or attack, but to make sure they're both safe and prepared in case of need
Communication, able to speak in the Hathian dragon tongue, and can loudly communicate over large distances from the air with it. Additionally he telepathically communicates with intelligent life forms within about 200 miles, and since there are several Force-sensitive groups below their warrens and scattered around the area he can pinpoint the right people in times of need. Language has never been an issue for Survum though he relies more on the ideas and concepts or imagery than wording if there is a significant difference between Standard and the subject's native mental speech
Ice Breath, white hathians have a penchant for the chill ice they resemble, and Survum is as talented as they come in terms of its use. He can manipulate the temperature around his already cold ice beam and cause an area about the size of a house to become super-chilled and when the blast of icicle-like energy hits it, anything that can be shattered will be in tiny pieces with the impact. His icicle shard projection can hit a humanoid-sized target up to 250 meters away, piercing armor at 200 meters, or basically boring straight through even armored creatures or adobe walls at 100 meters. He can however also just spit out little shards of ice in an area to chill it, such as in a summer festival, he can drop a bunch of ice in radiators and help cool down party-goers, or plant one larger shard into the ground and it will melt only very slowly. Notably if he takes a dip in a smaller body of water, it will chill down though not freeze, simply because he's in it
Acid Breath, he additionally has an acidic spit that can melt through the various plastics and naturally occurring armors of animals and troops, though it cannot do much against anything other than the rubbery gaskets on most ships or vehicles. He can aim this at sensors and corrode their lenses, with accuracy at around 150 meters - and while at full speed in flight, so this is a delaying tactic to allow others to arrive before a fray
Parents: unknown, progenitor
Bond: Is the leader of their small Pack, but might take on new dragons as they come
Zegin Name: Zegin
Gender: male, chaser
Size: medium 12' s / 50' l / 80' ws
Build: strongly muscular
Physical Features: Hathian of the longer and leggy type
Colors: Yellow, Gold; body is sunny to buttery yellow with goldenrod spotting; wingsails tarnished golden-green; armor gold; claws grey, eyes pale violet
Stats: Strength 3, Speed 4, Endurance 6, Agility 5, Health 3, Intelligence 5
Abilities: Winged Flight, Zegin knows his limits because he tests himself constantly, and while he's not the most massively strong of the group, he is one of the more sturdy and long-flying around. He also is able to keep a good speed while executing difficult aerial maneuvers, and can carry reasonable weights in specialized harnesses, so he does have the duty of sweeping into a place to gather up gear and supplies, and head out even under fire. While he is typically not doing this, he's bold enough to take instruction and direction, but would surely prefer the shorter flights in his own workstation and ... y'know. Not be under fire...
Communication, a keen mind and a sharp eye, Zegin relies on very quick image-based transferrance of knowledge, and if you can't keep up, only then will he 'explain' in words or bullet-lists. He is quiet otherwise and rarely bellows or screeches with the others in their songs or chats. He does understand the local Standard speech and enjoys more the workshop banter down in the repair and tooling bays than gossip among the dragons
Fire Breath, Zegin creates a wide variety of heat and flame levels for his everyday uses, from a warm and toasty burst of superheated gas to warm an area, to tiny little spits of flames to light up the workshop's lanterns, and on up the scale for igniting larger fires, burning forge bellows, and the like, and yes yes of course he can use it to snipe up to 200 meters but his flames are of much more use in the workshop
Acid Breath, on the other hand his acid is markedly potent against synthetic materials, from plastic to mylar and even into alloy metals that have even a scrap of organic material mixed in. He's able to put holes in thick protective plates or armor, but also uses a weaker form of acid to gently soften up large pieces so he can then begin smelting, or pushing them into molds and shaping them with his skilled wing-hands
Parents: unknown, progenitor
Bond: is unlikely to bond any specific other, but is fine with what the rest of the pack does
Solliel Name: Solliel
Gender: female, riser
Size: medium-small 11' s / 50' l / 78' ws
Build: strong, muscular, sleek
Physical Features: Hathian of the longer and leggy type
Colors: Green, Gold; body is a dusty light green with darker hazel-green grey speckles over face, neck, back, tail, and wing arms; wingsails highly metallic lime green; armor gold; claws grey, eyes violet
Stats: Strength 5, Speed 3, Endurance 5, Agility 4, Health 4, Intelligence 2
Abilities: Winged Flight, a powerhouse though not a very fast flier, Solliel will pick up where Survum leaves off. With her smaller size acting in her favor, 'a smaller dragon can't possibly pack this much of a whallop' yes, yes she can in fact pack that whallop. She is the huntress and protector figure to an extreme, and must sometimes be called off from attacking things that might actually be friendly. But no one would mistake her eagerness for foolishness - she knows her enemies, she just likes to show everyone around their warren who's boss. She can lift at least as much as the biggest of them, and carry them as far, and her most favorite thing to carry is the carcass of one of the big treetop snipping grazers - they're delicious!
Communication, not simple minded, but prefers the direct and easy route of go there do this, to indepth conversations and gossip. She listens to everything and conveys what she hears and sees to Survum at virtually any distance, but also loves to sing to the stars and establish their territory borders with their bold snarling speech. She understands the local Standard but hardly ever telepathically bothers with non-dragon types
Acid Breath, specifically aimed, Solliel's acid breath will devastate organic matter from the inside out. It is quick acting, very dangerous, but also dissolves and nullifies rapidly enough that if she blasts one of those big animals for dinner, no one will be eating acid... She can aim a narrow stream that acts as a snipe that is accurate to about 200 meters, but her more favored version is to bathe a fan of it around 50 meters away and watch the panic in a herd, or listening to the screams of a big animal. And no, you can't keep the pelts, they're ruined...
Parents: unknown, progenitor
Bond: loyal to the pack and to Survum, but will likely take both males as mates depending on who else may join their pack; she will make a very good mother and do not hint otherwise...
