Senior Officer Thaigerl "Tiger" (literally Thai Girl) Li, stationed at 108 for 6 years and in the force for 12. Tiger is a patient, strong woman, with a quiet air about her. She enjoys the duties that she is given, and wants to remain on the active roster as long as she can, instead of being 'promoted' to a desk job. When someone needs an interview done with this squad, she is often called upon, as she is charismatic without being overbearing. At an early age, Tiger knew she was destined to work the fire line. As a child she would stand outside her home and pretend that the big bushes in their yard were on fire and rescue her Barbie collection and stuffed toys from the danger - fortunately there was never any danger of her setting those fires, she was always responsible enough to know not to do that. She is a petite but well muscled Thai-girl, at 5'6" tall and having the attractive black hair and almost black eyes that her heritage gives her. She has a pretty "pie faced" look, with round cheeks and fine features. Tiger is the only mother on the squad, at the age of 36 she has a 4 year old that often stays with her in the station's common rooms. Her husband Mike is a reporter for the local affiliate station, is it any wonder she's often on camera? Thaigerl was named such by her mother, who literally could not speak English when she arrived to the country, but she enjoys the title of Tiger and often lives up to it if her son Wolf (named after Wolf Blitzer, believe it or not) is involved in some kind of trouble. She has two sisters, and one brother who still lives in Thailand. Her father is dead, but her mother is still alive and retired. |

*** Tiger knew that this coppery dragonet that approached her would be hers. There were dozens on the sands, but this one just shone like a light - like a fire. She stepped deftly between one broken shell and another, even calmly hauling herself over two fighting hatchlings that didn't look up to move. "Get out of the way!" She yelled, but they didn't notice, so she kept moving. Intent on Tiger, her big eyes were clear and focused. She'd by now noticed that other people were watching her. So much the better. But she only wanted the attention of one in particular. "Hungry?" Tiger asked the dragonet, who nodded. "Good, because there's a total frenzy over there by the bowls for meat. What's your name?" Mentally the female responded, Calametae. "Well that's ... interesting," Tiger laughed. "The guys will like you, I bet." Good! I want to meet them, I see them in your mind... I like fire. "I like putting out fire." Well I will like doing that too! |
