Lifera stood uneasily on the sands at Cy Dragonstake. His sister was near, annoyingly. Their truce would not last very long - she'd find out everything, that was usually what happened.
But he'd remained quiet, not acknowledging her presence even when they were in the same room.
It was all right - because when the eggs started breaking, and one particularly beautiful red hatchling with black markings came from her egg and started immediately chewing on one other hatchling. That little fight broken up, Lifera watched as she approached him.
His heart was proud, this beautiful creature would be bonded to him - the things they'd perpetrate!
Yeah yeah... My name is Odir and all that crap. Just get me some food before I eat your sister. Odir glanced over to where Gressila stood nearby. She doesn't belong here, you know. I hope she gets eaten. The tone she took indicated that the hydragon would do just what she threatened to do, if given the opportunity.
Lifera smirked. This would be perfect... As he told her that someday she might be able to help attack when everything was in place - someone else's dragon let loose a piercing scream.
But I still heard you. Get me some food! Didn't you hear me?!
But what about Gressila? She didn't bond at this sands clutch - but she'd be standing anyway.
