She can sense the dna and sort through its features to select bits to isolate, reinforcing them or removing them from spliced offspring. She can take disparate samples (mammal+fish for instance) and fuse them without issue to the resulting being. She uses this mainly as a pet-creation job, but with the need for strong Sea Dragon masters, has begun working with other Peridian to get the right samples up and running. She loves working with Sea Dragons overall, because they tend to be far more intelligent and seem to understand what she wants out of them, and offers them the same consideration as a Dragon Master might get: you can have a long vacation or even retire once you've worked a while! In fact she might be trying to get citizenship rights for those who can pass exams...

Special Tier Suite: Starfish Morph - obviously with a heavily mutated body, legs, and 'hair', all covered with dangerous toxic-leaking spines, Gehtah is hardly a normal person...
-- Sea Adapted - Must return to water after 8 hours out of it, though she doesn't necessarily suffer any other hindrances until that point, see below; can withstand crushing sea depths and breathes both air and water though she has no visible nose, and has both gills and the ability to absorb oxygen and nitrogen from air as well as clean water
-- Skin Spines - her limbs, back, and 'hair' are all covered with a myriad of sharp, barbed spikes, each of which has up to 2 points Impale and the additional ^Toxin production
-- Added Animal-Like Limbs, has 5 'legs' which are not really tentacular as some octos, rather they're somewhat stiff and have way more than hip-knee-ankle joints apparently. They seem to be fused around the thigh area, but she can separate her own limbs if needed using her flesh shaping power and great concentration. These limbs allow her to move very rapidly under the water provided there are surfaces to move on, she's not really a 'free swimmer' or floater but relies on gripping objects like the sea bed, plants, rocks, and pillars or coral, to move along at a decent clip
-- Animate Hair/Limbs - those twelve large 'hair' bundles are very much under conscious control, though they usually remain where they are in the image, as they look like hair, she can use them to hold on to things in a lab, give added grip strength to large creatures needing to be attended to (holding on with her hair while her fingers administer medical care), or act as a defensive shield against dangers in the water. They add a significant amount of Manual Dexterity, but are also in fact covered with toxic spines too... She can look quite snarky if they pose just the right way, and they do add to her general communication skills if she's below water and has to convey something quickly (yes, that does mean she resembles a 'shocked or surprised cartoon character' or can give a thumbs-up with them balled up)
-- Modified Head/Face - she has large and expressive eyes and though they are fine above the water, when immersed she can see with much more clarity. She has no nose, but does have external gills under her 'hair', similar to those of an axlotl for breathing. Her ears are external and slightly pointed, but don't really resemble humanoid ears so much as 'more spines'. Her mouth is heavily modified and is similar to a starfish or coral-biting fish, since that's exactly what she is - her teeth are fused into a 'beak' under flexible face skin, so she can still 'smile' or 'frown' but under that is a single tooth sharp enough to easily bite through and chew up coral, shells, and barnacles. Those comprise her diet, she must have a strong intake of coral and calcium, along with mineral-heavy sea animals and veg for 'soft' food. She doesn't do well with grains or other non-sea based grasses, but will definitely gobble down leftover gristle and bone from your hunt park feast
-- Immunity To Toxins and Poisons - mainly those of her own kind of dangerous spines, such as anemonies, jellies, octopods, snails, and urchins. She is completely immune to those which have a delivery system of 'needle-like', and takes 1/4 damage from anything else such as slime or extruded toxins. This does not mean she's immune to pollution or land-based animal toxins
-- Breeding Difficulty - with a body covered in extremely painful and deadly toxic spines, Gehtah knows better than to meet and greet with a hand held out to shake. While she could technically speaking bear a child with any given Sea-spliced type at Normal level, she might also kill her partner in the process. Thus she will be splicing. Her powers allow for quite a lot of variety to be created, even with her main man Thebha - they've produced quite a few intensely varied children in their time together! (It doesn't hurt that he can in fact resist much of the danger she poses)
^ Toxin Production - each spine that successfully impales an area leaves behind a barbed shell along with intense toxins. The shell itself is 2 points of damage, but it also causes instant burning sensation and pain. It can entirely incapacitate creatures that are not immune which are under 55 BT, while those over 55 BT require a -30 Courage roll to continue being near; will cause vomiting and -20 on skill use, the location swells and remains painful up to 10 days, and will have weeping bleed wounds if not immediately treated (similar to photosensitive plant toxins). To put this another way, she can reach out with just her arms and kill a person of BT 55 due to the impale damage alone

Water Requirement - needs to be fully immersed in water at least 2/3 of the day, but can spend extended periods out of it to work on land; can breathe both air and in water, but takes a few minutes to adapt to either after being away; skin is slighlty rubbery to the touch if you can find bare skin (on her face, neck, and front parts obviously) and protects her from most effects of being under water, but will dry and crack if out too long causing painful movement and bleeding
Sanity Loss - She is an incredibly odd person to be around, particularly given her hair is also hands, and she's got like 5 legs oh and she can kill you with a hug. Meeting her requires a roll or suffer -4 San temporarily, up to three times, after which you're kind of okay with it
