These include but might not be limited to: -- Sense, Locate, Identify bird, at distances up to 10km, she can sense birds she's familiar with personally, or up to 2km those merely in the area. She can identify whether they're male or female, in breeding cycle, injured, territorial, or other such variables -- Empathy, at close range (under 500m) Ikemiq is able to discern longer-term emotions found among the birds nearby. These are sorted out differently from immediate issues, so she can sense the overall mood and well-being of the flocks that nest in her cliffside preserve, and whether they are needing more space to fish, or are having issues with predation -- Sense Through Avians, she can take a specific known bird and cast her senses of sight, hearing, and in some cases other perception (such as magnetic or electrical impulses for diving birds) to react as she wants. While this only acts in a modest manner to control where they look or when they dive, she can exert a small amount of control over that. This power works at up to 10 miles for a known bird, and under 1km only for birds she just randomly finds in her territory -- Flock Leader Training, when birds can be trained to do behaviors such as 'spot prey and catch fish but do not swallow them' or 'scan the area for sharks' and other such things (mostly those useful for her profession, not for trained pet arenas) she is able to take up to 8 individual birds at one time, and train them all at once. Her training takes less time than a non-tuned Pelatih but equally she wouldn't be able to train the sharks... Birds trained by her are more likely to remain on her territory, breed, and eventually have offspring that are in turn much more amenable to her power -- Automatic Warning System, with birds everywhere, she knows the moment they are startled or attacked by anything, be it another larger predatory bird, a hunting party of people on the hillside, or fish and sea life below the water's surface. This acts as a sort of ripple radar effect. Where most people would just hear 'a bunch of bird noises' she instantly understands 'hunters stomping eggs oh no!', and can tell the distance, direction, and approximate danger level up to 2km away |

| Mutations | Pelican / Avian Morph - a Major level suite -- Feathered, she is equipped with feathers head-to-knees, water-resistant and keeping her warm during diving in the chill Wintep waters; they are quite colorful, she's easily spotted in the sea or at the cliff's edge; requires grooming, and once every few years she loses the major feathers on her arms to a molt that takes about 3 months to regrow, but she can't fly anyway so this doesn't necessarily hinder her job -- Full Bird Head, with a long slender pointed bill and a throat pouch gullet, she can store self-caught fish and generally can act as a pelican might, carrying this bounty around and expelling the water, or just eating what she catches (diet is exclusively fish); however this does make her slightly difficult to understand though she can speak her bill clacks and clatters a little. She does have feathery 'hair'; she has a weak sense of taste, and seems immune to the 'icky' tastes of strange fish or briny water -- Modded Wing Arms, able to glide for short distances, or more often uses her arms to stabilize in a tall cliff dive and dart straight where she wants to be in the water. They cannot be clothed easily, and she has no functional fingers -- Modded Legs/Feet, her legs are fairly normal until the knee, at which point they become more bird-like with scaley skin, clawed toes, and large flippered flat feet (larger than shown). These definitely allow her to swim with ease in deep or choppy water -- Short Tail, feathered and in the same colors as her head hair, it's mostly for show, as she doesn't fly and doesn't really need it for swimming as she uses her arms for direction and power strokes -- Hollow Boned, even though she's quite tall and somewhat imposing, Ikemiq is still bird-spliced, and her bones may easily be broken if smashed purposefully (she has learned this the hard way by grazing rocks below the water in a dive) though they don't interfere with daily activities. She weighs quite a lot less than you'd expect someone with her strength! -- Avian Fertility Bonus, while she is definitely capable of breeding the normal method, if she pairs up with another avian based mutant it's highly likely they will produce up to 3 viable eggs! She could carry a normal child but it would likely be dangerous for her to actually give birth due to her bones, and she requires a large amount of calcium if she actually intends to have egg babies |

Since she has no hands and also is covered with feathers she generally doesn't wear clothing. Also since she's in the water most of the time anyway that would be kind of pointless right? However it does turn people off when she comes out dripping and kinda fishy-smelling... "Don't Do That At The Table", this is a physiological disadvantage brought on by her splices. She can and will and has bring you what she just caught, offering to let you sample it 'fresh' from her own mouth. She isn't 'bird brained' in a sarcastic sense, but she definitely wants to help feed you straight up by barfing out a catch from her throat pouch, and that truly is too gross for most folks... |

Is hoping to expand storage and packing as well as localized bird-based fishing to other places around the Kiran coastline, with her eye on Aakal to the north-west being the nearest large city for such a venture to be profitable. Her Dragon Holding will be below the cliffside habitat where her birds reside, and hopefully any dragon she befriends will pick up on the 'bigger' fish that often are predators of the birds! More small fish to catch, fewer dangerous predators, full tummies for dragons, birds, and clients!

That left the last hatchling, a rusty brown rock finkrat who managed to crawl as close as she could to Ikemiq and took a good sniff of the fishy odour the bird woman had about her.
"Marvelous!" she commented.
"Are you going to grow big and strong? I'm looking for someone big enough to scare away the big fish." Ikemiq jested.
"Rawr!" the finkrat growled, letting out a remarkably loud sound for one still so tiny, "I'll be big!"
