Tresis Arregon's Quarters Most inhabitants of the Zekiran ship give Tresis a wide berth no matter where they are or how he's feeling. He is completely insane, rivaled only by one or two others aboard... All with his genes. Though he is crazy, violently so sometimes, he is also a dramatically handsome and superbly elegant man. He stands quite a lot taller than many Zekirans, but has a very slim build. His skin is pearlescent white, his hair is a mop of silver, white and frosty browns, while his eyes are a mixture of green and gold. He has long, pointed ears, but unlike other Zekirans with this feature he does not carry any electronic or "tech" powers. His quarters are surrounded on all sides by ... no one. Nobody is crazy enough to want to be his neighbor. He has no illusions about this: he is often known as heartless and self serving, for good reason. He IS heartless and self serving. His powers bear out his long immortal life on Neres, dominating the will and countryside of the locals. His weathershaping powers extend more than 30 miles in any direction, so he always had a huge storm going somewhere nearby. He could also control the natives, but that power is quite useless to him now. He has a lower power with controlling other Zekirans, but has long since forgotten how to use it. Tresis has gone through many stages during his stay in the ship. He mostly has been sullen, angry and snippy, however he has been known to sober up and be a gentleman. Now is not particularly one of those times. His quarters are sparce, but clean, and have very little in the way of comfort save for his own seat or couch. He does not always appreciate the lengths people go to keep him occupied (and therefore not hurting others with his carelessness), so he often tries chasing away the guardian animals which get placed in his quarters. They often come back, but those which are more intelligent are quite frequently seen to ask for a change of venue! He does not outright abuse any animal, but he does annoy them by getting into trouble and not seeming to understand how he's done it. |

It does come as a bit of a surprise to Tresis that when he was offered an egg at Dragons of the Glenn he felt compelled to bring it aboard. He is not sure what will come out of it, but he might enjoy being made to care for something other than himself for a change. He knows that the size of his quarters is not quite enough for a full sized dragon type creature, though since no one is currently living nearby him, he is going to get a chainsaw and open up some walls... (just kidding, he'll get the engineers to do it for him, such physical work is utterly below him.) He doesn't know much but he does know that the parents of this egg are Atlantis and Utopia... How sweet, he thinks. Once he knows more about this new creature, he will list it below. |
"What exactly am I meant to do with ... this?" Asked Tresis of the younger immortals who had gathered to give the egg to him. "I mean, it's clearly too big to eat..." "Care for it? It's an egg, Viridia." Tresis remained unconvinced. However, the fact that he could not control his curiosity about it finally let rest any worries that he'd really misuse it or damage it in any way. He was careful about things he prized, after all. The group wandered away, and finally Vanya asked, "that was your work, wasn't it Viridia?" His ancestress smiled and gave off a beautiful laugh. "Only a little. Natural curiosity, or a bit of my creative mental nudging... It's all the same. I suppose that you know that, don't you?" "I know that he was just as likely to manipulate me as anyone else here is, yourself included..." As they walked out of the strangely vacant area of the ship, their voices got quieter but Tresis still heard them clearly enough. They thought he had forgotten everything about how to manipulate a Zekiran's mind. But he had not. He was working back to a strength that he used to have, but at the moment... He had to be content to have a weak receiving ability. He leaned over the egg, and marveled again that it was as large as it was, but then he got a flash of perhaps the future... Where the creature within it was simply gigantic! Naturally, that got him thinking about the way he used to live on Zekira. Neres was such a wild, huge continent, and it had been his... Until the others began to come centuries later, the whole place belonged to him. He wanted to have a place, a time like that again. Someday. Perhaps if they did find a new world to colonize, they would leave him a bit of it to do as he would. And perhaps too, this creature within its sandy-colored egg would help him reclaim his proper place at the top of the food chain. |
"What is that noise?" Tresis asked the air in his quarters. It had no answer, though something on it had changed, and his acute senses detected it. A small sound at first, but carrying well in the silence of Tresis' chambers, this noise began to echo through the wall of the sleeping chamber. |
At last, Tresis roused himself and dragged himself to the other room. There in the corner swayed the egg they'd gotten him. It was hatching. Something akin to dread entered Tresis' mind, but then he calmed. This was what it was supposed to do, wasn't it? So he didn't display his fear, he didn't give in to the odd desire he had to call others into his chambers. He got closer to the egg and waited. It wasn't long, but to him for some reason the wait was interminable. The chipping and pushing at the inside of the egg was infuriatingly slow. But the old, insane immortal had never had one of these things happen to him, so he wanted to wait and see what would happen all on its own. What happened was that a dark, slick snout poked its way from the egg shell. Suddenly, the rest of the egg gave way and Tresis found himself under the weight of a freshly hatched black dragon! The skin of this creature was as dark as Tresis' own was white! Slick from the wetness of the shell which gave it life, he waited half a moment before swallowing back a shriek. There was nothing to worry about, was there? This was what was supposed to happen, right? The black dragon nuzzled Tresis and then abruptly bit at his shoulder. Instead of becoming very angry, Tresis realized that the dragon needed food. Without warning, the dragon hissed and rolled off Tresis' chest, then began his own search through the room for food. From the floor, Tresis' face changed to an expression which he'd worn only precious few times in the past: Utter joy broadened the ancient man's face. The dragon, who appeared to be emphatically female, dug through what little Tresis kept around the rooms. When Tresis spoke, she looked at him with angry, hungry eyes. That anger slowly faded into a kind of understanding, but the hunger did not abate until later. "You remind me of a Neres storm," he said, rising and sweeping the shell dust from his robes. "That's your name, you know. Neres Storm. I know it's a lot to remember. But you will. And so will they," he looked at the closed -- and locked -- door to the inner hallway of the ship. "So will they." |
"I would like to eat it," the dragonet growled. Tresis sighed. It was better than the prior few weeks, when Neres Storm was learning to speak. Then, it had been merely 'food food food' repeated endlessly until he complied. "Wisdom! Go visit now," Neres said, and began making her way toward the doors of Tresis' quarters. "Not now! Everyone is asleep!" Tresis begged the black dragonet. She was getting much too large for him to just pick up and haul bodily away from the doors. Now, he had to start getting sneaky. |
But she was getting good at it too. "We are awake. I love you, feed me. Visit. Now." |
"Did you think I would not notice? He gets to fly!" Neres Storm growled. "He is stronger and bigger than you are," Tresis made the mistake of pointing out to the adolescent dragon. She turned with angry eyes, and he could feel the heat she was producing even before she attempted to burn a patch of wall near her companion. "I WILL FLY!" She hissed. "You will fly when there are no people around," Tresis said. He thought to himself how much more 'normal' he had had to become since adopting this creature. Far from bending to his will and becoming a flaming puppet for his desires... She was almost impossible to predict, and that made her ever more dangerous than Tresis himself! |
Neres Storm made one of her tantrum-sounds, a great rumble which shook the walls. Tresis moved the air around with his psionics, and kept the tapestries from falling to the floor. "You can yell all you want," Tresis said, putting his hand on her hot nose, and scratching it, "but when you go out into even simulated light, you always come back shedding. It isn't because you're still growing, either." Subdued briefly, Neres Storm sat on her dark haunches and grumbled to herself."When we get to a world," She said, "I will fly as far as I like. I will fly away from you." "I will follow you," Tresis said, levitating into the air, "as you know I can fly too. And probably better than you." "ONLY BECAUSE YOU WON'T LET ME LEARN!!!" Tresis patted Neres Storm on her haunch. He could reach her shoulder but he would need to float himself soon, if she didn't start growing. She did enjoy some of the same things he did. Being in warm, dark places. But she also had this penchant for warming spaces which didn't need warming. Like the cool baths. Or the cold storage rooms. "But he gets to go down to the planet! Tresis! I cannot believe you won't let me go!""Because you're acting like a child! Until you learn to behave yourself you just will have to content your--" A blast of black, hot flames came from Neres Storm's mouth. She had long since mastered her powers of fire, practicing against Tresis' natural ability to cause storms and weather changes. Everything she put to flame, he managed to put out. Well, there were disasters like in the aurora-leaf garden, which apparently damaged all the perfectly pretty little flowers beyond repair. That put a dent in Tresis' ability to have the dragon move freely about the main portion of the ship. A section was left for them of course, but as the black dragon grew larger into adulthood, he discovered that more and more people were less and less happy with the dragon. |
Good. Fine. But if she kept up this whining attitude of hers, they'd just have to settle with her on the ship forever! Not a chance were they going down to the planet! The Glenn was right there. Beckoning. He could feel Neres' mental connection to the planet itself, she knew where she was from and she needed to go back there. Quite like he felt about his home on Neres when Zekira still existed. But that was more than a star's age ago... And he did not have the option to return to anything. He looked at the dragoness, who brooded. Suddenly Tresis realized that the ceiling was on fire again, and put it out by removing the air from the flames. He walked toward the great annoying black beast. Softly, he put his long, pale fingers against her narrow nose. "I am sorry, Neres Storm. I underestimated your need to go home. Let us see how you can fly in real gravity. With real skies and clouds. Not these things..." he waved his hand at the entrance to the park center of the ship. It suited most of them. But ... He was a master of the environment. And this was a starship. Not a planet. He never felt at home here because, well, it wasn't a spinning, weather-covered ball circling a star! He realized that Neres understood that too. Only in her way, she couldn't quite express it. They got a ride in the large shuttlecraft down to the Glenn. |
Neres participated in several flights, invited to the Healing Den somehow, and produced some truly amazing offspring. Tresis was a little freaked out by the premise that "off-gendered" pairings like himself and his female dragon were 'weird', but then again he... is probably the most homophobic Zekiran that still exists.

With their long-term residence on Planet Twenty, as time went on and the dragoness had the chance to truly stretch her wings, fly for hours and over hundreds of miles at a time - she grew. On the ship, she was quite compact as a young adult. Tresis didn't really know whether this dragon would continue to live as long as any given person aboard this craft, but... He hoped so. Because just look at how amazing she is? When she flies, her wings stir up quite a bit of dust and wind - just like a storm!
Name: Neres Storm Gender: Female Species: Glenn Size: Large, 22' s / 100' l / 90' ws (Size was constrained while on ship, but this is her full normal size as Glenn) Color: Black, a heavily 'gritty' scaled dark grey to charcoal black body with equally scaled pale grey/white armor from chin to tail end; wingsails also pale grey; claws and antennae shiny black; eyes red; Blacks are the 2nd rarest of all dragons. Type and Abilities: Fire; Fire dragons are the more legendary creatures of the bunch. They can fly, but not as well as their high-dwelling air cousins. They have the power to control the weather and the very earth itself. (she does not alter earth but can sense and to a limited degree control lava) Often, they are linked to great natural disasters. (she is 100% a natural disaster area) They breathe fire in many different colors, but never blue (hers is a tarry, dark red). Some have been known to breathe hot coals or lava also. (Neres cannot do this, but has come close when she's truly angry) Parents: Atlantis and Utopia (seen above) From: Dragons of the Glenn original site http://indyana_jedi.tripod.com/ Personality Info / not all accurate: Blacks are attracted to areas where the elements converge. They are also attracted to great chaos and areas of natural disasters. They prefer one bondmate only, and often are very violent and malicious to everyone else. They are often avoided by other dragons in general, as most of them are not very good company. (Neres Storm has her own view of what a 'bond mate' is, that is Tresis and he's enough for that aspect. It's her harem and 'friends' that are a bit different these days) They like warm, dark caves, volcanoes, fire and lava pits, and castle dungeons. (She has had her fill of being indoors and vastly prefers to be able to survey her territory from an opening in a sheer cliff on the mountain they reside...) |

** from tresis4.htm ** In the time that Neres had flown a few mating flights (successful ones at that - for her AND Tresis!) the Zekirans had located a new home. They landed on a lushly exotic planet only known as Planet Twenty. Welcomed as defenders and go-betweens, the exiled population living there (a large number of psionically powered Kin animal-mixes) could now train with their powers alongside people who had been using them in a similar way for literally millions of years. They now knew, on that planet, that they were not alone! No freaks of nature - just the next step. Tresis watched these people - furry things which he rarely deigned to associate with - as they assembled their lives below Zekira. Their new city, which he did indeed help a little in building, was named after their original home world. Simple enough. His home was nowhere near the main population zone though. Enough people got tired of Tresis while in transit for several million years, so why should they have to put up with him now? Neres enjoyed a freedom to fly and burn things and make trouble as she never had before. Her hormones sated every once in a while by flights on the Healing Den or other locations, she too watched the activities below their mountainside retreat. Tresis continued to mess with the weather. But that caused problems! He didn't care, he never cared much about the repercussions of his own actions on others. But this time, apparently, his storm playing was causing such severe flooding on the next part of the continent that envoys were actually sent to warn him away. (originally linked to Cryten's page, he's on Planet 20) Tresis was a terrifying man, Cryten realized that right away. Since the Colonization had started he was moody, brash, annoying, and openly violent at times. He particularly seemed to enjoy hunting - as long as he didn't have to get himself dirty he would strike fear into his prey first with a thunderclap and bolt of lightning (which often started a fire), or he would simply change the pressure around a poor creature's head until it exploded. Cryten stood next to Tresis' daughter, and tried not to look nervous. "Why ought I to care about this matter?" Tresis asked, casually and caustic. "It's around the world from me." "It is right next to you, and it is affecting our allies ," Wildstorm said. She could match his anger, but perhaps not his power. "They are able to survive in the wild, why shouldn't this be merely a ... test for them?" Tresis said. He was taller than his daughter, but not as muscular. His hair was fades of tan, white and bronze, and he wore a long flowing white and grey silken robe. He looked entirely too human, apart from his perfectly white skin and his very tall stature - Cryten realized that he was being affected by the Kin's views a little strongly. "Sir, with all due respect for your abilities and power," Cryten put in, carefully, "you and your people are not the dominant people on this planet. The Kin have asked your people to colonize knowing that you can defend the planet. They are not prepared to accept you trying to destroy it too. They have humans to do that for them." The tiny bit of humor in Cryten's statement made a faint smirk appear on Tresis' thin lips. "A ... good point, boy. But perhaps you do not understand. We can be gods, if we so wish." "Only if you subdue the natives, which includes me, into thinking that. We're a bit beyond gods and their whim." Cryten said. Tresis narrowed his green-grey eyes. "Do you think that we could not subdue you? Mighty half-human boy? You have no powers. And I," Tresis stood and looked even more menacing than he had while seated arrogantly in his 'throne', "have nothing but power. And I practiced upon many of the local Neresian population - and many millions of other such powerless people of many other worlds, in the meantime. You cannot defend against me, and my will." "Why should I have to?" Cryten shot. "I'm telling you that if you continue endangering the normal weather patterns here, you and your people will have to find another place to colonize. Power or no. And remember," he said, snarling a bit, "I might not be a powered Kin, but the entire planet is composed of them. Every one else has powers - just like yours." "Only weaker," Tresis smirked - knowing this to be true. "Only in far greater quantities, father," Wildstorm said. Her father spun, hair and robe dancing on the slight breeze. "You? You would say this?" "I agree with him," she said simply. "You're not going to endanger our new planet's colony just so you can get your own godhood back. You were never a god, father, and I was never a goddess. We are merely Zekirans with power over physical things. We are not the law here, were are asked to be the enforcers because we can do things at a greater range, or at a stronger ability than the Kin. But this is their world first, and I ask you to remember that. Before Viridia and the others come looking for you for this same conversation." "Viridia." Tresis spat. "What does she know? And besides... If they do not remember, what can they do?" Tresis turned on Cryten, and his eyes narrowed again. Cryten felt something creeping in around his eyes, his mind. He went cold... There were bits of blackness in his mind, spots he could swear had been bright before. This would not happen to him. Not to him! He steeled himself, forced brightness back onto the parts that were dim. Ah - a memory here, an experience there. Tresis was attempting to black out his mind, remove his memories? "You are not going to do that to me," Cryten said, and before Tresis could react, he'd stepped up to the tall man and struck him - hard - across the face. Stunned that the boy would attempt something so ... physical, Tresis did not move for a moment. That moment, Cryten chose to close in. The half-cheetah "powerless" boy held Tresis' robe and pulled the ancient immortal close to his muzzle. "If you try that again, to me or to anyone else - Kin or Zekiran or human - I will make you hurt so badly that you will not remember how to do your tricks. Do you understand?" Balking, but not yet trying to fight back, Tresis said, "you cannot resist me! You have no powers!" "I - have - enough," Cryten growled, and from somewhere in his will, he pulled a blackness so deep that he wondered how he could ever live in light. He aimed it carefully at Tresis - whose eyes went round and wide suddenly. "Don't!" Wildstorm yelled, and pulled on Cryten's arm. "Why not?" Cryten said. "I can, and I will. If you make me do it. So don't make me." "What.... is that?" Tresis asked, pulling away and straightening his robe out. He stood up, and tried to collect his wits. "What was that, boy? Do you even know?" "I know this: if you push me, I will use it on you and I will obliterate you. Permanently. Understand?" Cryten said, still puffed up and growling. Something that Cryten could not have known, something deep in Tresis' past, was what the man feared. Here was a whelp - a half-human and not-quite-kin? With a power that only one Zekiran had mustered in their entire immortal travels? "Of course..." Tresis whispered, as he realized who held that power. "The multiverse has been kind to you, I know the reason you do this." He paused, as Cryten tried to understand. "Your powers are hidden, but we have brought our dead with us. And the dead have uses for us." "That was mysterious," Wildstorm said. "Do you not remember who it was that killed the Outsiders when they asked?" Tresis said, darkly. Wildstorm's eyes also went wide, but then she turned with a snarl on her father. "Will you agree to stop this?" "I will," he said. "I will have to find something else to do." "You could find another planet to play on," Cryten said, angrily, "you've got access to dragons who can teleport. Why not do that instead." Tresis almost got a smile on his face, but realized that would be tempting fate. The idea pleased him. He would have to find somewhere else to torment. But he could still live here among the people. "Come on," Wildstorm said, "it's late. We'll get going back there in the morning, and I'll help with the clean up." They left Tresis' large dome-topped quarters, and said nothing. Neres hadn't intervened in the whole process - even though she was nearby. The white-haired madman turned and looked at her. "You could have stopped him with half a hiccup you know." Then I would have to live somewhere else again. I do not desire that. She paused, looking up at the sky over their city. But I might desire him. "Him? Him who?" Tresis asked and then could feel by virtue of his powers the displacement of air under a dragons wings. A new dragon, unbonded it seemed, flew over the sprawling set of domes and spires where Zekira the city sat. While it looked like he was checking out certain locales, he eventually flew straight up to where Tresis and Neres watched him. Hello! He spoke mentally, while his voice was cheerful it was powerful and deep too. Do you mind, could I stay here? I have heard there are great wind currents up here. And that you can provide me with better ones? Tresis looked at the dark bluish black dragon, curiously. "You want to stay here... with us?" Of course you may stay here! Neres butted her head against Tresis and knocked him fully out of her way. I am Neres Storm! I am Stormfront! The male said. I think we will get along well, don't you? I breathe fire, Neres announced. I can cause electrical storms and rain! He replied enthusiastically. Everything he said was the most important thing in the world. Especially to Neres. Tresis sat up disconcerted, brushed himself clean, and walked away muttering to himself. Maybe he'd get someone else to teleport him off world. Maybe that would be the best way...

** from tresis5.html ** It was without even the little warning that she usually gave, that Neres Storm brought a second male to her mountaintop cavern. Tresis had been watching her behavior get weirder, as she flew distantly away and came back to roost. Tresis almost followed his dragon bond, lifting himself on a surge of wind, but he realized that she would just try roasting him with her fire breath if he did so. Every once in a while it would come back to him why people thought he was moody and bitchy... She certainly fit that bill, and he could hardly tolerate it at times. Stormfront sat on the ledge that he'd chosen, facing west where he could see the clouds roll in. She will come back soon, but did you want to make the clouds swirl around? Stormfront had gotten to know Tresis if anything because he never shut up. He asked endless questions, and Tresis had learned that the only way to shut the dragon up was to just answer him. He didn't have to do so kindly, but he did often realize that the young dragon was merely trying to fit in and make himself a niche. Something that Tresis hadn't bothered to do for millennia. "Why not," Tresis said, "hold still, don't fly up until the right moment." The weather-psionic drew his powers together. Fortunately for him, his choice of mountaintops was allowed to have strong weather. It wasn't disrupting everything else - like he'd done before here on Planet Twenty, and on Zekira so long ago. No more depleating one area for his own needs, fine. He could play with the weather as long as he put it back the way it was supposed to be. The mass of grey-black clouds above moved and swayed, congealed into stormy thunderheads. Stormfront shot into the sky when it looked as though there was an opening. Fit just for him, his dark wings blended in and the only thing visible shortly were his bright lightning-yellow horns and tail tip. And then something large, yellow-colored and shadowed by Neres Storm herself came rocketing by the other direction. A halo of water splashing off the bronze, almost as though nothing hit him even though the clouds and storm were erupting all around him. Stormfront nearly did a tumble downward but caught himself, and followed them back to the mountain. Tresis allowed the storm to peter out of its own accord, while the trio of dragons landed. Neres puffed up and looked so proud of herself, while Stormfront stood by in amazement and curiosity. And the bronze with the red and white markings sullenly glared at both of them. Isn't he beautiful? "Isn't that what you said about Stormfront?" Tresis said, and Neres purred loudly that yes indeed it had been. So now she had two - and she did proclaim that this pair of males were hers. After all, Planicepsth had lightning-like breath and was quite adept at a shield power. He said nothing, glanced at Tresis who glared right back at him. At least this dragon seemed to understand that Tresis would rather be in charge of his dragoness, rather than the other way around. But... Planicepsth shrugged and moved off to find a suitable place to sleep. He was quite big, much bigger than either Stormfront or Neres. A fine catch, probably. If Neres would partner with either of these males - eventually she would - their offspring would be... "All over the mountaintop," Tresis muttered. He just couldn't win... |

They had been at this for years now, with an endless cycle of storm, fire, dousing, mudslide, recovery. Put to good use, his powers had actually served the Kin in one area, a fact which he would glom onto and bring up every single time if given half a chance. Their daily, monthly, perhaps even yearly routine consisted of greeting the morning sky, stirring up the clouds just a little for a rainshower-bath, evaporating the rest quickly and carefully, and taking to the air. All three dragons, and usually Tresis to boot, would glide on the currents, dive for large fish or picking off a herd beast for a weekly meal feast. Now and then, Neres would find a way to go off-world, but she rarely wanted to participate in more mating flights, not while she had two mates here waiting for her to rise. Also now and then, Tresis took a break from this world and went jaunting with others. While he wasn't exactly 'friendly' or 'casual' to pick up as a guest on any of these world travels, some of those genrehoppers or teleporting dragons and their riders realized that if they asked him before they left, his mood would be brightened when they returned. That made everyone happier, so even if he didn't socialize all that much normally, Tresis had found himself relishing moments when others sought him out. They had done so recently, and he'd sequestered himself from the daily routine for a little bit. The dragons had hardly noticed his absence. Today though, there was something else on the wind, those dragons made note of a distinct scent. Not typical for the area, though not unheard of - it felt almost volcanic. Neres perked up, narrowing her eyes in a way that told Tresis the knew they had a visitor she may or may not approve of. But she scoffed with a chuckle and turned her attention back to the others around, her males, who also looked on momentarily - and kept looking. Tresis however watched with a touch of trepidation, as this slender and very odd seeming dragonet entered the area before he followed. He wanted to see how they would behave. He felt the angry intrusion of his bond's mind. Well this is a first, you bringing someone new to us? Here? To me? She demanded a bit of an apology as well as an explanation, wordlessly. He responded in kind, wordlessly and with a great many images and memories from his recent jaunt to the Burrow. Unfamiliar with this place, Neres perked up, but was still wary. For here was a spindly-legged ... noodle of a dragon, hardly up to Tresis's hip even with her long slender neck holding her ear-heavy head up. But she did look proud? A bit tired, a bit young and therefore inexperienced. While Neres Storm was absolutely not 'motherly', she did recognize that this was a youngling that could be ... well, formed into a strong compatriot if need be. The dragon's mind was already warm to the idea, actually, and at some point, silently, the massive female Fire Glenn and this tiny but elegantly long and flowing wingless creature (she was far too beautiful and interesting to be called a mere 'mutt') came to an accord. She is much too small to be a threat, Neres Storm announced, and she is much too small for either of you to be interested in... That last part was clearly a warning. Those two heeded it, sensibly. Tresis finally nodded mostly to himself, and then mentally suggested to the pair of males, Time to hunt, I think; a feast for our new arrival. Make her feel welcome, I'm sure she'll have a few surprises in her own time. |

She is very popular in the chillier areas, because she is quite warm but also because she creates slightly-unnatural hot-springs for others to bathe in or relax near to take the frigid edge off. She can 'animate' a length of existing magma, move its borders or cause it to grow very hot or cool a bit, altering its course if it's in motion, but only if it's not a staggering amount going downhill fast... Magma Belly increases body temperature and may damage things, careful! Narcotic Magic - The ability to ingest strands of magic spun from their back-fronds, causing euphoria, hallucinations, and dulling pain. This, she has discovered, can be of use if someone gets too close to that magma and burns themselves, though she isn't above experimenting with how much of that pain can be dulled before sickness takes over. It has a much stronger effect on creatures other than themselves. Abuse of the narcotic can be fatal. Fronds glow for the duration of the magic-spinning. Physical Magic - The ability to use strands of magic spun from their back-fronds to create physical objects. Fronds glow for the duration of the magic-spinning. This power is weaker than some, but she can still do it, making little keepsakes from her own form and magic, and she's taken to making small 'magma roses' that are cool to the touch (after a few hours... honest) for those she deems worthy of her attention Parentage: Malasrian rii Navisno + Chime; the Burrow Generation 3 Black by Phe Personality: Self-sufficient, Seeks fame, Seeks equals Requires: Non-bonding Caretaker (Tresis 'volunteered' for this?) |
