Mirage: "Before" |
Mirage: "after" |
Mirage: "NOW" |
After Treason created a new body for the immortal spirit of Mirage Marad on a faroff planet, she snuck aboard the Zekiran ship to reside there for a time, while waiting for a world specifically needed: Ring of Fire. She didn't know what she'd find there. Now, she does. As a young-looking 'teenager', the reborn Mirage is a stunning and handsome woman, choosing now to flaunt herself a bit more. Upon arrival to the amazing Ring of Fire, she was determined to be worthy to stand for a very unusual clutch of dragons... With Treason along side, to protect his young charge and make sure that she'd be safe from the other undead and any further 'monsters' he could find (which, given the clutch, might be a whole lot of things!), she and he both attended the hatching. *** It was quite early in the hatching when a truly lovely dragonet hatched. However, she was preceeded by one of the very scary Xenodragons - alien things with no eyes and vicious mouths. The pretty one, cobalt striped and delicate looking, seemed almost entirely out of place. One would hope that her presense could indicate more of these beautiful dragons? Her egg fell away carefully, and each movement this lovely dragonet made seemed like a practiced performance. It was odd to see such grace from a newly born dragon. However, when the cobalt-striped hatchling took one look at the xenodragon and shrieked, she scurried across the sands wildly towards the candidates while the poor twilight red xeno just tilted his eyeless head in confusion. She skittered behind Mirage, hiding from what she said was--Scary! Slimey thing! Keep him awaaaay! The girl laughed an stroked the platinum's head, soothing her bonded. "It's alright, Kalyanin--I don't think he's going to follow you." And sure enough, the Xeno went off to find his own way. Mirage felt the warm mental presence of her dragon bond. This was something she knew would come - but she was amazed at its strength and intimacy. This little dragonet, Kalyanin, knew everything about her. At least, surface thoughts and strong memories. You have a lot of memories to know, Kalyanin announced, while they waited. Why they waited, neither knew. Shortly though, they did know why there was a bit of patience left in them. Though Kalyanin was quite hungry from her dance out of the shell, it was plain that Treason was going to find himself a bond here too. It wasn't all that long in terms of moments, but more than a dozen hatching shells later... A large number of shells burst or cracked open, revealing a wild variety of hatchlings. Some looked undead, some appeared almost entirely dead... while others were just weird. The purple-winged skeletal had been trying to find himself some entertainment, though his 'entertainment' didn't particularly seem interested in being such. The brightly orange and blue fire-winged wyvern sat in the sand, staring at the creature with a smirk. Evidently the skeletal was attempting to scare the much smaller dragonet, but it wasn't working so well. Is that all you have, you massive scarecrow? the smaller wyvern mocked, up at the much larger undead. I bet you'd shatter like an icicle if someone hit you hard enough... Would not, the skeletal said, sounding sulky, and sauntered over to the remaining candidates to lean against Banthem's leg. The canine anthro looked rather startled, unsure just what to make of his new bond. You have to teach me how to scare people, better... You're awesome at it. "I suppose you'll learn in time, Edegy," the canine replied, still feeling uncertain about his new predicament. First a ghost and now a dragon that just want to encite fear in everyone! You could have done better than that, the black and green daughter of Conquex told the fire-wyvern. I wanted to see some blood and guts, or at least some breaking of bones... The orange and blue wyvern looked at the black female, smirking tauntingly. You're still here, after all, Neingix... "That's enough, Benyidith," the tall, fierce-looking creature called Treason said as he stepped towards the fire-winged wyvern, who pouted but allowed the bigger creature to pick him up. Luckily his wings didn't actually burn! "You can cause trouble later..." The four-limbed dragonet did not whine or act annoyed. In fact he looked as though he rather relished the idea of coming back later. When they were bigger - evenly matched? "Shush," Treason said, though he was only hearing the afterthoughts in the dragonet's mind. Benyidith looked around him as they went for the foods. His casual thought was that Mirage and her dragon were quite pretty but didn't they seem a bit too delicate and nice to be here at a hatching where everything was undead? "But she is," Mirage said, almost as though she did hear the other's mind-voice, perhaps her connection to Treason was very strong indeed? "Her parents are both creatures that are not living. Doesn't that count?" The blue, black and orange wyvernet shrugged, tossing his bejeweled head.

Name:Kalyanin (-n, Beautiful) Gender: Female Bond: Mirage Color: Platinum and Cobalt Wraith Size: 40', 20' tall Abilities: Telempathy, wide-range telepathy, improved memory, can sense/see the dead Number: 17 (undead) In contrast to her intelligent bond, Kalyanin is somewhat of an airhead. She has a tendency to be tactless and jumpy, sometimes not thinking to seek out the most logical solution to a problem. Her sweet and gentle temperment, however, redeems her view in most people's eyes. She only wants the best for everyone, truly; though before that is her desire to make her bond happy. While Mirage is so 'experienced' and cool-headed around the men, Kaly' is much more shy when it comes to boys; but with her slightly ditzy nature and surprising photographic memory, she can't help but be charming. |
