Sith Female, age 16 (5) (last born) The atmosphere at Moire was pretty festive, all in all, and they seemed to welcome both she and the other felinoid, Etehmaro. They liked him right off - but cooled to him when it appeared that not everyone from his homeworld was as friendly and outgoing as the last Kin they'd helped out. She wondered... Was he from a world that would come in her world's future? Possibly? Maybe not - because from what he said to her about their history, there were no powered Humans and her world was filled with superheroes that flew or projected flames or... well, it wasn't her world's future anyway. But it could be hers. She thought about it, and knew that the others would certainly like to know more about them. She didn't know that Coda had already arranged such a thing, meeting the Kin on the Plateau, already, with Qodara who had also bonded at Vella Crean with her. Sith was more concerned about the state of affairs right here in Moire, though. The eggs were hatching! They were being called into the sands! <-Back to Search Page... BACK to Sith's Page... The big dragons watching gave their pleasant approval as each egg bonded off... The recordskeeper - a cool guy, a bit uptight, but he was always helpful to Sith - seemed exhasperated to have to jot down things (in pen - he obviously never played a role-playing-game. you're not supposed to write things in pen until you know they're 'history'.) when they weren't all "breaking shell, bonding". They were "kind of trying to break shell, somoene else hatches, someone else bonds". It was pretty funny, actually. While there were still a couple dragonets waiting to find their bonds, having hatched out and dried off in the meantime, the biggest egg of the hatching had finally chosen to open up. The large hatchling was female, and bigger than most hatchlings had been seen. She was a wash of dark irridescence, colors moving as though on a beetle's carapace. Sith was entranced. She crept forward after gaining her legs, and looked up to Sith. Her mind was foreign, but filled with love and attention. Sith jumped with the contact, here was something open and new, amazed, hungry, dazed, confident. Sith, she said. Sith! I am Stvari. Suffice it to say that I bond you, now and forever. Now let's get out of here before you-know-who starts kicking up a fuss. The other dragonet, dark as Stvari but in different colors like purple and blue, got huffy and bonded to the half-elfin man left on the sands near Sith. Sith laughed, "I think I agree, Stvari. It's getting stuffy in here..." *** Sith and Stvari learned to fly from the professionals. While it would be a bit more time before they'd really be masters of the air, Stvari took to flying eagerly. Sith was happy that she could hold on with her claws, and ... Maybe she would be able to work her own powers into the mix. You keep practicing, she felt from Stvari, when we fly at night, or twilight, I'll be able to do it. Just wait. "Of course, Stvari, but that's because you look like night sky and twilight..." She laughed again. This would be a great adventure... *** And at last, Stvari and Sith arrived to their homeworld - triumphantly landing on the Helicopter pad on the roof of the Mystech building. The other three got there right about the same time, swooping about dramatically. That was their domain. The shadows and half-seen things were this pair's. Sith had mastered using her shadow-walking effect over the dragon, and they slipped into darkness even in bright daylight. Kath was really surprised to see that, but then again the pairs had all been away for just about two years time - their time, anyway. It was about three weeks later 'her' time. They were good at this stuff already. They'd be superheroes before they knew it... What is a superhero? "You'll see," Sith grinned at her bond. "You'll totally love it..." *** Sith and Stvari and the others are guests at the Furry Festival on Planet Twenty! |
