There is a thrill in the air. Since the arrival of the last adult Kin from their dragonries, and the time that all of those dragons can be considered adults, there has been the expectation of a mating flight. We have however been a bit busy for such things, especially just after our battle. The fourth year after our dragons arrival, a battle for our world's water supply began. Though we were all untried in the air at battle, we'd enough fierceness - and the advice of the Zekirans on tactics - to last against the Outworlders. Not Humans, but the alien forces of half a dozen worlds. Perhaps they will come back when they're ready to pay for their imports, instead of stealing them.
But now, in the first season of the fifth year of Dragons, we are ready for something new. With little Maen less than a year old, and two of the visiting females pregnant (well, one female, and one... mostly female...), we have extended an invitation through the Healing Den and its messengers to the other Kin type worlds far and wide.
It is time to have a flight - and a proper festival for our new Plateau population!
Update 10/19/03 - When Temih saw the huge influx of paperwork that Baeris warned her would come, she almost lost the urge to keep this Frenzy thing going on her watch. However... Once she started seeing patterns in the riders or dragons, she realized that it would become something a bit more than she originally intended.
"I'm going to call it a Festival," she announced to Utori, who sighed and scribbled something onto a sheet of paper. "There will probably be other four-footers coming, and others who aren't felines. Most of them aren't true Kin at all anyway."
In the end, the Furry Festival is almost the same, only it is certain that the whole event will last longer than the typical Frenzy would. And what with everyone there already, there's no reason not to throw together a true festival anyway.
So please feel free to use the logo below, and definitely continue to send in participants! You may ignore the "feline kin only" type rules. Once a dragon finds out they're up for a frenzy it won't matter as long as the rider's furry in some way, right?
Update 5/3/04 - Deadline is coming soon. If you have a bonder waiting let's make arrangements for them to fly here, once their dragon is bonded (not necessarily an adult).

If you wish to attend this Frenzy, please keep some simple rules in mind:
2023 the rules may be very, very different when I get finished, this is unlikely to be a frenzy and more a set of gives on Discord.
Probably changing, definitely removing or changing.
1 - Rider MUST be "kin type" in some way, and preferably FELINE. Meaning, a shapeshifter who spends most of their time in a half-cat (upright) form, a fully shaped feline creature, or a mage who has the specific (and noted on candidate page) ability to transform fully into a feline-biped. Cheetah types are at the top of the list, while other felines are lower. Dragon/Dragon pairs will be accepted only if the dragon is furry (Icarian?). Other creature or Kin types are acceptable but remember they will be dealing with an almost exclusively Cheetah tribe.
2 - Rider should indicate whether they are willing to remain with Twelve and One (or the Spotted Hand tribe) IF they wish to bear a spotty child. This is partially the point behind throwing this flight, it is not just for the dragons, it's for the cheetah Kin. Gender preference is flexible, there are gender-bending shapeshifters from Zekira who can also take up the slack... Plus the Zekirans are doing some funky manipulation with the "people" present (not the dragons, as they have their hands full already) - so if a female is around? She is very likely to become pregnant if she's participating. Therefore it is important to state the *physical description* and any abilities or powers that the character has, and if a child is desired, and if so - whether they will be going with the owner of the submitted character (as yours), or remaining with Planet Twenty (as mine). All offspring will be drawn - just like the frenzy dragons. :) -- 2023 note that I do have all the line art (though not all inked) for offspring, however a good number of them will require new parentage since a lot of participants may or may not exist in the Discord era Nexus ** this has been rectified for most existing children
3 - Dragon must be adult on the page, and have some kind of story or link to this signup page or the Planet Twenty main page. Dragons from anywhere which are *acceptable* for Frenzy use (ie: okayed by the owner to have derived works based upon their shape) will be accepted, including furry dragons with furry-dragon partners. 2023 - all of the ones which ARE here had been okayed, however those without current representation in the Discord will arbitrarily be removed since I don't want the hassle of trying to figure that out
4 - Only one or two offspring per pairing will be created. Not every dragon hatched from this Frenzy will leave with a bond. Please indicate if you have a preferred mate for the dragons you send. They are not guaranteed, but they will be considered priority. 2023 more than likely any pair will now get a full clutch depending on their shape, though still I will probably reduce the overall number to something saner than the Rainbows
