Name: Irocor (EE row core) Fur: Skin, off-white shaded, with clumps of longer shaggier fur in same shade as hair Species: Wyldkin Rabbit Shifter Gelgelan Hybrid Born near Thohauxa on the Gelgelan Eminence, though raised on a large animal ranch on the mainland since their mother moved around a bit; and currently are in the northern Everchange Wood for ... reasons. Whether they will be able to remain there is unlikely; though they're part and parcel with the Shifters of the area, dragons from offworld are absolutely not the kind of thing that should be around these parts. Local dragons would tear them apart. While that thought does thrill him a little, he's never met a local dragon, his sister is sure that there's a home near the Gelgelan island... His personality tends to run selfish and slightly cruel, but generally he's not a terrible person. He's a bit more impulsive and enjoys the chaos that being a Shifter brings, than his sister or even his mother. But he does know when to stop, mostly just after Oriroc smacks him upside his head. |

Magic he tends to use most frequently is Earth-based, psionics that allow him to burrow quickly through loose dirt or sand to emerge within 500 meters without having to stop or breathe. He can also use this power to move through more solid structures of stone, brick, or other such materials, but they must be less than 3 meters thick - so he might be able to phase through a simple stone homestead wall, but definitely have trouble with a larger keep wall or reinforced castle. Also he cannot move through metals (except natural ore) or glass, and has claimed he can find crystal deposits 'because they scratch him on the way through'. Where this power came from is unclear, as their mother is definitely not an Earth mage. However lagomorphs are burrowers, so there's that. *Shifter traits: dad didn't realize that the 'rabbit' kin he hooked up with was very much a shifter, with the ability to turn into a large (3' shoulder) rabbit-like creature. It's possible that she had other shapes, because sometimes that creature has a long horn or even antlers. This is clearly demonstrated in Irocor's appearance, which she kind of wishes that her son would stop being so bold about it. In social situations where he's just shown up with weird features as a child, their mother has had to blow it off as 'I had an affair with a sheep kin'. People believe it, but only barely. His favored weapon is his own body - since he is able to produce horns, heavy hoof hands and feet, or dangerous beak-like teeth, Irocor simply uses everything he's got on him to hunt and fight. He can bash with those horns quite well (leading his sister to call him 'hard headed'), and sustains no injury from hitting even stone with them. |

"My sister and I are going to need some space," was what he said, he didn't need to say why. The why was obvious and standing behind both of them with their fan-like wings proudly up, their antlered heads peering curiously at their surroundings. It was the defacto leader of this island that approached with care and confidence. Colart looked them over with a careful eye, squinted, and said, "what are you all hiding?" He didn't ask harshly, but he knew. Irocor and Oriroc glanced at one another, with his sister pointedly staring at his horns, causing Irocor to slump just a little bit. There was no getting past the fact that he still forgot to tuck them away for this important meeting. Oriroc gently moved into her four-footed shape, and almost impulsively Irocor sprouted several additional sets of horns and spines, a long swishing tail with a barb on it (he'd been working on that one ever since bonding). He looked impressive! His sister looked faintly annoyed, good! That was how she always got anyway. Their dragons weren't good at standing on two feet yet, but they did so. Irocor saw the faintest blink on Colart's handsome face, but to his credit the ship captain pulled his lips into a smirk and nodded, "well all right then, accommodations to suit, we've several building plans already in progress but where you want to set down is where we'll build for you." They even had little mockups and models? It was fascinating, Irocor had never seen such things but realized they had to have someone who was a talented designer if these were already planned homes. They flew around the island, Irocor spotted a place that could fit a U shaped villa well suited to their needs. And off they went - while the builders were busy shaping and carving and stonecutting, Oriroc went out to find their mother and tell her about all of this, maybe she'd come home with the pair, but if not, she'd be able to keep her muzzle shut. Shifters were like that. |
