BACK to the hatching Braenyth and Dyonath flew together but the silver-green tired easily. It seemed she was never quite going to be a very big green, nor a very sturdy flier. It seemed just as well for the dark blue, for he truly wanted someone to care for. She was self-sufficient, of course, and she wasn't sickly in any way, but she certainly enjoyed it when Braenyth helped her out. |
Braenyth and Lielth guided the group of Ryslen Flurry dragons and their friends back to the Healing Den. Mazeru watched from his perch and Mizan assessed the pairings. All opposite genders - she glanced at the small blue, who snorted at her. Dyonath looked up at the white-gold, curiously. Why does she think I'm not worth competing with? I think she's wrong. I think you are wonderful, Dyonath. And besides, you've got more colors to your hide than she has. You sparkle like stars. There are no stars here at the Den. I don't know about that. Dyonath laughed and went to look for where her partner's den was. She found it to be snug, yet somehow when Braenyth came into it, it fit them both perfectly. |
Braenyth and Dyonath both have found new things to do
at the Den. Since both of them are somewhat small (if Braenyth towers
over his green-silver partner it's because she's very small indeed) they
have volunteered for currier duties within the Den. Also, Dyonath is quite
adept at Nexus navigation. Even though she tires easily during flight,
this doesn't seem to have affected her ability to teleport.
