Personality: Wants to be known as an artist more than a ship mate, but truly enjoys living on the ship, and puts her efforts into keeping her mates safe and sound as well as surrounded by beauty
Possessions: Nearly everything she has, she has made herself. Either with shaping magic, or creating with tools. Her bunk is a beautifully shaped wicker 'leaf', in fact her whole cabin is quite fragrant with blooms, and glows with a faint blue-green light thanks to the shaped luminescent mushrooms on the walls. She can and will recreate this room once she has a place on land, and looks forward to having more space to put her art. Many pieces of shaped and whittled work in progress litter the whole room, and some number of finished works are found in other cabins. She has no weapons, she can make them on the fly.
 

History: grandmother was only known as 'Grassweaver', but that turned out to actually mean 'weaver of the history of each tribe member' because to the Nomads, blades of grass are often equated to people when planning and working out tactics during hunts. Nomad women keep the history of their tribes, a long mental and verbal history that lasts for hundreds of years. And that's good, because it could take hundreds of years to explain how she and a handsome Virdian Elf hooked up and managed to actually have children... Yes, more than one, and Bathixia has several cousins all living in Grassmouth, on the Viridian coast. Her other grandparents are all full blooded elves, the Canopy clan in Grassmouth who run quite a bit of the locale.

Bathixia had blossomed as a psionic shaper early in her life, but she yearned for more. After all, 'nomad' is in her blood, and there's a reason those humanoids are called that! She became a crew mate on the True Star more than 15 years ago, when its captain, Colart Zeleran, put up his first requests for crew. It did take some effort on her part to adjust to life on the sea rather than in the trees, but she has done so with gusto and style.

When the True Star started journeying into... well, let's say 'uncharted waters', and coming home with unusual dragons from far-flung worlds, Bathixia's spirits lifted once more. Surely there was a place or a type for her. The local dragons were never to find out about these newcomers, if possible, but since they have a safe harbor in the Never Ending Grotto, she and her newfound friend can shape their surroundings to their hearts content and come home with tales of adventure!

Powers: Winged Flight, Dusty is graceful in the air, but not terribly fast or durable, she prefers to flit between locations and settle back down to her beloved plants
Telepathy, capable of communicating with other intelligent life forms, as long as they aren't blocking out this kind of thing, at up to 10 miles; her mental voice and presence is distinctly verdant, embodying the magic that she has at her whim. Talking with her is like taking a walk through thick, lush grass in bare feet
Control Over Plants, magic like this is extremely useful in most situations, and 'living on a wild and untamed island' is certainly among them! At close range (less than 20 meters) Dusty can manipulate most plants, causing flowers to bloom or become fertilized properly, fusing broken branches of trees back together after falling, curing rot and diseases, and the like. She can shape living plants into things that are useful, like her bond Xia can, and they are learning from one another what works best for their new locale

I still like it here on the island, Dustaphtyr bespoke to her rider. Bathixia nodded and smiled softly.

"I just wish that the others were so understanding," the elf glanced behind them, where the sapphire dragonet was putting up a bit of a fuss with Adalbert.

He will come around, after all the males are meant to protect and defend their castles. Oh! I know!

The emerald scooted away, and began appraising a particular small grove of big thick-trunked trees...

"I love what you've been doing with this place!" Xia exclaimed, it had been weeks of effort for the plant-shaping dragoness, that she'd been doing on and off for quite a while now. As she had grown so had her skills with the magic that they shared. What had once, about a year ago, been a scattered copse of mangrove-like trees overhanging one of the myriad under-grotto entries, was now a tower, twisting with the individual trees trunks blending until it looked like the spiral of a unicorn's horn. Here and there, burly branches turned into wide balconies with the hollow interior visible through an arch, all of them big enough for a dragon her own size to roost upon. It was truly a castle fit for dragons!

Over time, several of the smaller sized dragons came to live within it, though a few (cough-cough anyone with fire magic) had to be a little more careful...
