It would hardly have surprised Zora, Lenore thought, that these dragons have ceremonies and rituals. It certainly wouldn't have caused professor Kalkin to flinch, because of his connection to the dragons. But here... Leny was a bit baffled as to what she was to do now. Because it was two disparate dragons that came to her, red and green, bold and sound. She'd only really spoken to the one female, the green Syana, but apparently their conversation had caught the attention of the other, Kiyeno. --from hatching-- In personality, the two kits in question were fairly similar, which wasn't really too surprising, when one considered that they'd chosen to bond to the same person. Syana was a strong and determined individual, one who refused to ever give up. Nothing was ever too hopeless for her, and so from a certain viewpoint, she was a rather optimistic young dragon. If she didn't like something, she'd simply take charge and change it for the better. She was quite passionate, really; she had her opinions and she stuck to them, no matter what anybody else thought about them. It didn't even matter too much to her if she was wrong; the fact that she had an opinion meant more than having the right one. She was ready to argue her point, too, although she kept a level head during those arguments. Syana rarely lost her temper, unlike her brother. Kiyeno was also a strong and determined dragon, although he was more accurately described as being hot-tempered and fiercely passionate. He had opinions, too, and he would always argue with anyone who didn't agree with him. Unfortunately, his ability to form a rational argument was rather ruined by his tendency to lose his temper when he wasn't winning. But still, he would fight for those things he believed in, and he could really put a lot of enthusiasm into it. Kiyeno was the kind of dragon who, if given a cause to follow, would pursue it will all his heart. He was every bit as strong as his sister, but perhaps rather more reckless and a lot more chaotic. They were both large dragons, equal in height but Syana bearing a slightly heavier build. And despite their similar personalities and sizes, they bore such different colouring that they were almost an eyesore when stood next to each other, reading aloud from a bonding scroll. Syana was a deep green in colour, while Kiyeno was a vibrant red. If one factored in their yellow markings as well, they almost looked vaguely festive. But still, red and green were two colours that didn't look entirely right when put next to each other. But funnily enough, the House Domina Weather Witch, Lenore McCrea, didn't seem to mind in the least. She was quite possibly still a bit stunned to have attached two kits rather than one, but one couldn't help these things. Even so, Lenore would probably have her hands full with these two.-- But Lenore was encouraged, at any rate, because the pair of dragons would at least distract her from minor problems. She was positive that they'd be responsible for some major ones, of course... *** Because of the time fractures at Mirus, it was a bit hard to find one's way out of things. Lenore had chosen a dorm where the dragonets could grow and comfortably rest without getting too tangled up in each other. Their personalities were both so strong, but they were united for her - perhaps for her alone. It was never quite clear which items or information might be something they agreed upon entirely, or would come to loggerheads over. So Leny got to play peacemaker every once in a while, sometimes by claiming that she felt sad they were arguing. Because if there was one clear item they agreed upon, it was that Lenore should never be sad. Maybe that trick would continue working, but Lenore didn't think it would for very long. So she tried to keep that one as a spare when she couldn't formulate any more coherent arguments. It hurt her feelings, when she had to disagree with one of them. They were meant to be a team for life, after all. But for the moment, as they were growing and learning to use their innate abilities, a lot of their squabbles were petty and forgotten within a day. However one thing they were apt to discuss heatedly, was whether Leny and they ought to return to the Clan Akalera grounds, or try heading straight back to House Domina. "I think it's important she goes," said Syena with a nod of her head. "Because they expect her there, and because her friend will be looking for her there." "But we're with her now," countered Kiyeno, "and it might throw everything off if we show up." "If we don't there might be a dragon that was meant for her, too, and what will happen to it?" Syana said. "Meant for her - what does that mean anyway? We bonded out of love, are you telling me you think some dragon can't change its mind and find someone else?" Kiyeno shot. "Yes, I am saying," Syana said with a frazzled patience, "that some dragons do require a bond, you know that, there are some here." "No," Kiyeno said with a snort and a lash of his tail, "what you're saying is that you believe in fate, and that's just silly." "Okay, okay," Lenore said, waving her hands in the air, "look.... We're going back to the Clan lands, and for the moment we'll just wait there. If Lumiere sees me and you two waiting together, she'll come and pick us up, and that's that. If the hatching happens - sometime - while we're waiting we'll all attend it, remember I left a couple people back there, right?" The dragons both lowered their heads, they were both right, both wrong. "The problem really is," Lenore said with a sigh, "that I don't know if the tunnel that I came through to get here, will lead me back where it came from. And, you're both getting bigger, I could try shrinking you with a charm, that wouldn't stop us from getting there, but as you are you're almost too big to get through some of the twists I think. Wouldn't want your wings getting busted up now would we?" She shook her fingers through their fur, and hugged them both fiercely. "I love you both, so much," she said. "I can't belive my luck in getting here, maybe our luck will be good going home." So they said their farewells, and promised those in charge at Mirus that if they had the opportunity to visit they would - a difficult task because Leny wasn't very good at transport spells and would have to rely upon others to do so. Then, they headed back out through the fissure in the wall, which was miraculously still there. Or had come back, no one knew. Where it would lead, hopefully back to the Clan Akalera and the Winters frenzy... *** *** Name: Kiyeno Deeabath

Visit Clan Akelara, hosting the Winter's Dark Heart frenzy, where Leny is/was standing. Leny is hoping to find a dragon friend somewhere... Perhaps at Mirus.
