Name: Vima Nobbs

Gender: Female, bisexual

Age/DOB: ~15, aged, RY5

Origin: Rookery Earth, born in North Aperture, to Clone and Repurposed parents

Family: Mother Violet, father Brandon Nobbs, aunties Color Guard 15

Other: Quite gregarious and 'available'...

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 140, quite curvy and sleek, muscular but definitely feminine

Hair: Very dark maroon red-violet, thick and somewhat dry, kept long to her waist, and styled when able, has a strong widows peak

Eyes: Strong violet-blue, quite large, perfet thick lashes

Appearance: fair skinned with freckles, she's never been known to burn if out in the sun, likes to show off her curves with flirty outfits, and will absolutely wear heels in order to tower over people; she is somehow always clean, loving those bright-bright whites, and usually smiling. Has a chipper voice, she is quite a bit like a young Caroline in that regard

Genetic Abilities: gifted with a remarkably strong Telepathic suite, Vima can pinpoint individual minds at distances up to 100 miles, though not necessarily communicate with them until they're within about 20 miles. She can sense moods and visualize Vortal auras within about 100 meters. Like both her parents, however, she is considerably better with her Telekinetic powers than expected of such a sweet girl. She has incredibly fine controls and can sense through her Vortal 'hands', and does not need to see a location to touch it in this manner. She can 'reach through' walls of any thickness and substance in order to manipulate items on the other side, though it usually helps to be able to see where she's needing to fumble around. (Lightswitch? simple. start up a teleporter and type in a specific destination code? a little less simple...) Vima can lift about 300lbs with her TK power, but it does exhaust her Vortally. Otherwise this power requires no more effort than typing or flipping a switch. Her TK can function at up to 200 meters distant. She can also teleport, which does exhaust her after every use, at distances up to 500 meters provided she knows there's a safe landing point. She can connect with someone at that location and have them watch her, in order to do this accurately, but she can only handle about one TP per 30-40 hours, and must be resting afterwards. Oddly, whenever she is using any of her kinetic or travel powers, there is a distinctive 'ringing' sound, rather like an old telephone, and a lot of the older scientists and refugees look around for it whenever she's working.

Icarus Processing: none needed, Brandon had it so she inherits directly; her parents are both reasonably strong powered, and though she doesn't get the benefits of any physical changes, this never seems to matter.
Skills or Profession: A transportation and guide, when she was aged, even though she wasn't given the Icarus treatments, she was offered plenty of the downloads required to operate vehicles, machinery, and security systems. Doors and security gates just fall open when she wanders near, but they also close behind her, all part of her showy telekinetic abilities. She has very good mental mapping, and knows just exactly how to interpret physical maps, as well as how to improve upon them should the need arise. While she's not quite as good at code or sciences as dad is, she can still hold her own in an emergency where she must do a lot of engineering work. Unlike her mother, however, she's not much for the whole combat thing. She prefers to set traps, make sure security is tight, and get people where they need to be safely.
Personality: Cheerful and charming, though nowhere near as oblivious as that might make her seem. She is always monitoring things with her powers, checking up on minds while they're traveling, and making sure that the surroundings are safe for passage well before any group of refugees has access to the area. Polite to a fault, she will ask for names and preferences, she's the type who can remember a complicated menu and rattle back an order without pause or mistake. She does have an 'off switch', she changes demeanor if she really wants to be alone, or if she's stressed and needs help. She's not afraid to ask for those things either, but hardly anyone has ever seen her reach that point. She is not shy when it comes to flirtations, and has her druthers about who and where (she does seem to prefer older men in private, and strong-willed women in public).

Events or History: While Melissa and the folks were whipping up the Hallowed Silk dragon batches, Violet and Brandon hit it off up in the Borealis. And though Violet by that time was mainly residing in the North Aperture site, and would return there with her pregnancy, as Vima grew and was aged later, it became very clear that she was quite good for transporting delicate cargo - such as refugees, scientists, and selected equipment. She's one of the few riders who has gone on the long winged flight from Michigan to the Borealis, and she and her dragon regularly go back and forth to various sites, including the lighthouse island Aerie above Rapture. She doesn't particularly like it down in the facility so she does make them come to the surface for any transportation needs from there.

She has a bunk in the Borealis, but also a more formal suite in Shaft 9/Sphere 1 in North Aperture, where she's most likely to be found after having deposited new refugees and is enjoying some down time.

Dragon

Name: RedShift
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: Medium, 10' s / 58' l / 110' ws
Colors: Body, limbs, dorsal wings, most of tail brilliant white; armor on face, horns, limbs, wing arms, dark red metallic; body, tail narrow ribbon markings two toned red with white dots; dorsal and tail fins crimson with brilliant cyan edge, wingsails red is heavily mottled with brighter red; all claws red; eyes blue
Features: Lightwing as shown
Powers: Winged Flight, as a Lightwing, she's known for her superb speed in the air, at any altitude. She does prefer the middle-altitude area about 3000 meters up, to an unhindered (unridden) 12000 meters for any travel she must do right freaking now. She can move at tremendous speed and actually keep it up much longer than you'd expect: she can travel 200km/h for over 4 hours at a time, though she does like to go a little slower for hauling anything or anyone. For bursts, she can hit nearly twice that speed, but only for very short periods, long enough to evade even the fastest Combine, however. She can lift decently heavy weights for short transportation, but if she's moving people, which she often does, she can seat six human-sized people on a special harness on her back. She'll go about 150km/h as long as she possibly can, to get them where they need to be, and barring bad weather, that could be virtually anywhere.
Communication, she speaks very clear and concise English and Draconic, though other dragons seem to think her 'accent' is rather exotic (humans can't really tell any of that). She does have a strong Vortal connection to her human friend, as she was young on arrival to the Rookery and this seems to be par for the course. However she doesn't have any further telepathic abilities.
Fire Breath, like most Lightwings, her breath weapon is surprisingly hot, though only works at close range (within 200 meters at most). It can be used as a snipe, vaporizing enemies, though if she's not aiming directly for the head or vital bits, the wound will cauterize - leaving maimed soldiers or Striders limping along on two and a half legs. So she does try to make sure that her hits count, she's not all that sure she wants to encounter combat often enough to worry about it, but does definitely practice when she can, because it's best to be good, than sorry!
Parentage: Unknown Lightwings from Caelifera, unrelated to any on the Rookery, and she seems to think that the Light Furies should be much bigger - she might be ... interested in them...

Other Info: She also seems to be pathologically incapable of being dirty, even if she's been through a combat zone. Somehow, that pristine white scale is kept utterly perfect at all times.
