Hair: very dark red, thick, wavy, and kept pretty long, often in a tail

Eyes: strong forest green, large and expressive, as he grows older he might need reading glasses, but while that might correct itself or be medically fixed, he could also enjoy having those glasses so common among the Freeman clan

Appearance: light skinned with no significant scars or markings, though he does freckle rather than burn and peel like mom; has picked up on some of the Aperture branded undergear, as well as nice vests and pirate boots. He has nimble and graceful postures, less stiff and more precise; has a deep voice that's resonant and manages to not be spooky even if he tries

Icarus Processing: no, not needed, however he definitely benefits from both parents and his lineage's background. He is a bit stronger than normal, but is vastly more nimble, speedy, and durable than normal humans. He recovers physically from even bad injuries (and there have been some) within a day regardless of the damage. Brad can move up to 4x faster than a normal person but it's not limited to merely running or hand motions, this includes climbing and swimming, even while stealthy. Remarkably good with aim and precision finger work, but also can leap off of a ledge and land flawlessly on a wire, and his lighter weight means he can get away with swinging or sprinting over dangerously precarious ruins without causing them to crumble. He was taken to the facility and aged at 3 (to a tween) and given skill downloads at that time, his father's Pythagoras treatments boost his ability to learn to an extreme level as well

Genetic Abilities: gifted with Vortal sight that's truly discerning even at long distances up to 2km, he can read auras and detect where Vortal powers have been in use even days afterward. Brad has good overall telepathic power, able to communicate with other Vortal minds at about 2 miles, and with non-Vortal minds at around 250 meters; with any of his direct relatives (cousins, great-grands, etc) at up to 100 miles. However, he can also 'communicate' with and through electronics as well as crystals (Xenian in particular but virtually any will do). He's better at detecting the presences of manipulated items or the use of 'remote' powers on machinery or electronics than he is with living things. He can sense crystals and their functions even at a size such as found in a watch or computer component, and can 'tune' them if they're intended for use in an electronic device such as a radio, but that does require touch. He's been known to appear max-headroom style - or more accurately, Keenan style, as he learned from grandfather how to remotely perceive through monitors, screens, phones, televisions, billboards... anything that has components that he can access up to 10 miles away provided there's a clear power source. Also learned from Keenan, he can move onto even 'dead' monitors but they must be within about 200 meters of himself so he can power them up Vortally. Brad can use virtually any portal - created by technology or one regularly opened Vortally - as though it's just a door right there to wherever it is he needs to be. So he can open that janitor's closet door in Black Mesa's admin sector and be in Keenan's office - which one, probably Local Lane's, but any of them will do. He might be able to concentrate on making his own Vortal construct, but for the time being he prefers being in the solid realm of the living instead.
Skills or Profession: those downloaded skills helped him learn the basics of engineering such as electronics, power and security, and communications, along with most of the traditional english, history (Repurposed world), math and biology, and survival. He has personally then picked up on physics, and a field he refers to as 'Vortal-Electronic Fusion' which is as named studying up on how the Vortessence interacts (or doesn't) with crystals, electronics, and the like. Since Vortigaunts produce a massive amount of actual electrical energy they are often willing to show off their skill so he can measure impedence, secure shielding, and such. He is the on-site expert for power supplies and physical wiring of locations. So if you're in need of 'that guy that makes sure your new lab is insulated and won't blow half the site's fuses', he's your man.
Personality: Charmingly nerdy, at ease among extremely powerful beings like the Lanes, as well as families and kids coming through the Mesa on their way to Aperture alike. He enjoys teaching simple but helpful skills to those who show any interest, things like wiring a switch or fixing a fuse box, mundane skills which he believes 'everyone' should know.

Events or History: Even though Carl is quite a bit older 'technically speaking' than Branwen, the pair definitely have a lot in common and come at science and engineering aggressively and from all angles. It's possible that's how their entire relation works: aggressive, and at all angles. This son of Carl's takes the best parts of both of them, and then freely admits that he has otherworldly heritage that he jumped into the moment he realized it gave him far more options to explore. He will read virtually any manual or reference material and memorize it, put information into use the moment he can.

Also the moment he could, after coming out of the Enrichment Center's download chamber, he hunted up records of dragons being born somewhere in the Rookery. And sure enough there was a young Sand-Nightwing nest of two. The female, Dynasty, was darker and brighter at the same time, and had hatched first. But the more sedate grey and gold one... Suddenly burst into flames, and put himself out just like that. Eventually Frit would be known for fusing the sands in the desert around the Rookery into glass while learning how to utilize his fiery scales. And very shortly, another dragon wandered into his life, the energetic and somewhat... aggressive Firespark. Together they seek out interesting things to burn or distract while their human friend taps into the Combine system.

Features: Sand-Night hybrid, with Sandwing dominant in form, but Nightwing coloration and powers
Powers: Winged Flight, Frit is amazing to behold in the air, much like the others in his family. He is surprisingly fast, agile, and can fly for hours even without good updrafts or warm air thanks to his own internal power. Durable and all but inexhaustable at a slow pace, he can still push himself to go upwards of 130 miles per hour for about an hour at a time, but must rest afterwards; obviously he can carry quite a bit, but it has to be safely secured so that it doesn't get harmed if he has to 'power up' and go into fire mode
Telepathy and Verbal Speech, though he is not much of a talker, he speaks Draconic and English with a fair bit of Vortigese (they claim he can pronounce things just perfectly) thanks to his Nightwing sire. Given to close range communication silently, his telepathy is actually pretty strong and can reach both Vortal and non-Vortal minds within about 300 meters; other telepaths (Vorts, humans, dragons) have no trouble focusing on his mind from whatever range they're comfortable with too
Heat Up The Night, goodness this dragon can become quite brilliantly burning, and the Firescales 'condition' is tempered by his mother's 'coolness'. Thus only a small amount of his external scales become dangerous when he's building up a supply of heat, amd most of the time they can still be touched by those who have a strong healing factor or are immune to fire. The scales aren't all that glows when he's at full heat, however, his wingsails and back fin actively get bright enough to illuminate whatever is nearby. However once he lets loose with a blast of ultra-hot flame, or takes to the skies to speed off chasing something, the light goes with it - you can see him burning from miles away but only briefly, so he often does this as a visual distraction while his rider and Firespark are doing something under the Combine's noses below. His flame can burn through Combine metal walls, pinpoint like a laser though not very wide - a massive wall (about 5-6 feet thick) won't stop it, and neither will that fancy blue force field... But the beam is only about 1 foot wide at most, and varies for the distance he has to shoot it. It's accurate up to 500 meters, and shorter distances mean he can broaden the flames into an actual fan of burning fire that can melt basically any metal on extended contact. He is also immune to fire damage, plasma, lasers, and other such heat including basic 'radiation', but he does tend to avoid getting hit because you never know when that immunity will wear thin; he is best at home in the warmth of the New Mexico deserts, and he is careful not to set things on fire if he's chasing a Combine into the hills
Venomous Tail Stinger, like all Sandwings he has one of these, though it delivers only a minor neurotoxin that can stun or temporarily incapacitate something (if the stinger itself doesn't kill it); long enough for him to bite and eat whatever it is, he doesn't use this on enemies unless there are a lot of them firing on his friends

Powers: Winged Flight, quick and dirty flights, Firespark is great with short flights, and aggressive in the face of enemies. He is very happy to be put into the fray, and almost always flying about the Ranch and Rookery just looking for something to dive bomb; surprisingly strong lifting ability, though hopefully nothing that will break if shaken because he's very much the active type in the air
Verbal Speech, Telepathy, though Firespark can telepathically communicate with Brad and to a limited extent Frit, Firespark is typically vocal in the way that a yappy dog continually bothers their companions. In other words, the only time he shuts up is if he's asleep. He's not dumb, but he's definitely not the brains of this operation and he's fine with that
Firebreath, the best thing about being a fire breathing dragon is breathing fire! While his flames are neither as hot nor as accurate or long-range as Frit's but he makes up for it by burning everything that moves that isn't a friend. At least he knows friend from foe, for sure, before doing so. He can crisp fry nearby enemies and items, within 30 meters virtually anything that can burn will burn up completely into ash. So please don't leave anything that you need later in his way, it's done for
Magical Immunity, though there's not much use for this in the Rookery's direct setting, he is capable of withstanding virtually any form of magical attack ... but also any magical enhancement or aid. So if you want to heal him it needs to be hands-on or Vortal, anything else just won't affect him
