Name: Terry Halford / Snakefist

Gender: Male, Straight

Age/DOB: ~45/1966

Origin: Repurposed Earth, Seattle Washington

Family: Most family deceased, very large extended family due to great-grandfather having over a dozen children, unknown whether any of his cousins or his two brothers are alive now; around 2027 he does have a daughter with the ELL Brell, named Triss and yes she's named after a video game character.

Other: no significant relationships beyond nerdy gamers, computer hacking groups, and a few notable high-level Armacham employees and their patron, David Hoyle...

Height: 6'0

Weight: 260, overweight and pretty meaty, and though his images below seem to imply that he's athletic, those days are long behind him...

Hair: Dirty brown, quite straight but also very thick and full, to shoulders or longer, has a high hairline but it is not receding

Eyes: Change between pale green and darker blue-green, small, heavy bags from lack of sleep and squinting at screens

Appearance: pasty white to fair skin with a notable mole on face, and if he'd get out in the sun he would tan reasonably well. Disheveled, frumpy, often wearing a lab coat over jeans and tee-shirt, sneakers, and pizza stains. Over time he has hardly had the desire to shave, though even back in the early 00s he had a full beard and those same pizza stains on his shirt

Genetic Abilities: None known, though he likely contributed some form of genetics to the various programs at Armacham by virtue of being an employee

Icarus Processing: None, and he would absolutely not want it even if it was offered. He's seen how it works.

Skills or Profession: Terry is extremely adept at collecting information, via research, computers, networking, or just overhearing things in the office. But he puts those skills to use in aggregate logistics - he's a brilliant programmer and coder, and knows his way around any operating system with ease. He is a consumate hacker, and his skill at manipulating code likely got him his job at Armacham. Contrary to his images here... he's nowhere near a skilled martial artist, however in the years after the Events he certainly learned how to keep himself alive and kicking. He has skill in creating electronic music, video editing, and public address systems, also with security systems, weapon oriented defenses, and more importantly he knows how Armacham's cloning and Icarus system functions from the ground up. While he doesn't 'do' genetics or engineering of that type himself, his skills enabled the entire Origin program to take off, a fact which he's duly proud. And a bit scared - he didn't really see what else was going on because ostensibly he was working directly with David Hoyle's group, producing 'perfect' clones. The military adaptations for the cloning process, and those which Paxton was able to command, the Replica forces, are also his domain originally, piecing together the bits of downloaded skill code, and applying it to fresh brains. He knows how to use the machinery, but doesn't have practical experience in it.

Personality: Terry was always a bit of a rebel, though in a quiet, sneaky manner and not openly aggressive about it. He knows the value of having a family that could throw money at him if he asked, and though he wanted to work for his living, he also didn't want to work with them. He is observant, quick to connect ideas, and an information sponge to say the least. He will often bring up trivia from things that are long past, though he also enjoys framing those trivial bits with amusing anecdotes, stories, and wild tales of his Bunkers and Badasses adventure group. He absolutely loves heavy metal and industrial music, fierce rock, and speed metal, and used his signature song, Snake Fist, to contact rebels after the Events.

Events or History: As a youth, Terry was meant to be among the men of his family, as a corporate executive in the Halford Shipping company. However, he was bored and disgusted by the same stuffed-shirt unsmiling faces of the prior generations. He grew up with two brothers, and did big boy things - they played football and wrestled and he participated, because otherwise he wouldn't have been accepted well enough to be afforded his later leeway. He got into computers and games as a hobby in his early teen years, and never outgrew it. His family assumed he'd shrug that off at some point, get his business degree, and come to work for one of the uncles or cousins. But he faked his class schedule (though not his grades - he aced all his chosen courses) in order to make it look like he was attending those boring stuffed-shirt business and management classes. Instead, he was taking computer science, maths, and a great number of engineering classes. When he was approached by Armacham, it was ostensibly for his Halford connections, but he convinced them with his empassioned sales pitch, to put him on something else, something where his computer skills and hacking, engineering, or even his clever use of acquiring information, would be of far more use.
They did so. Impressed with those things, but still happy that he could (and eventually would) be part of the Halford line, he was put into a program that would eventually become the top-secret cloning business. He did arrange for his family to create new and sturdy quick-deploy crates: for the clone soldiers they were selling all around the world. It was actually some of his own family's work, that Paxton relied upon for his Replica soldiers to be deployed later on.
When the Events occurred, his life was thrown sideways. He stayed with Armacham's Seattle branch as long as it existed, but then as communications and engineering became less of their focus, he was 'phased out'... And likely would have been assassinated just to keep him from destroying anything valuable to Aristide and her people. When the Combine arrived, he had to go into deeper hiding, and he did so with his own family's shipping business at his disposal. Of course his cousins had sold their work to Armacham for decades now, they were partially responsible for some of the engineering on the 'razor trains' that the Combine use to transport people from City to City - a fact which still galls him. He cleverly rerouted one of those trains, and resided in it slowly making his way around the west coast, until coming upon the radio station bunker for KIRO, an AM broadcast that he sets up after rigging the power from the train. This sets in motion a large number of things on the part of the Pantheon, including their eventual trip to Europe, and the defeat of the Combine itself. He is reuinted with his old friend David Hoyle, and essentially becomes his on-site technician, which is quite good for all of them.
When the Combine is defeated and the Rookery starts, he was unsure that any dragon would be of his 'type' maybe a snake or... Wait, well, this one doesn't have wings, but he is super badass.

Eventually, still following Hoyle, he and Esby move to the newly relocated and completely renovated Enclave within North Aperture's Shaft 8. Snakefist is master of all he surveys, at least in his mind, because he does have his hands in pretty much every pie there: from the clone storage and exploration down in the disused Shafts, to entertainment in Shaft 9's Habitat, to upkeep on the power supply and communication network through the entire facility. He does it all, and does it loudly.

Dragon

Name: Super Badass Spark Buddy ("Esby" for short)
Gender: Male
Size/Shoulder/Length: small, 8' shoulder / 17' long, no wings
Colors: medium grey body with brightly glowing, blue bioluminescent back and paws, coloration is always in motion and always looks like rippling waves of electric energy; darker charcoal spikes and light grey fins, greenish-black cluster spikes on back, violet-grey head horns/spikes, glowing neon green eyes
Features: Wingless, four limbs with paw-feet having 3 sharp retractable claws, thick body and very long legs, short thick pointed tail, heavy boxy face with dangerously jagged teeth; spines with webbing along face (nose, forehead, back of neck, chin), down front of neck, upper forelimb joint, and behind forepaws; spikes without webbing on hind legs and under tail; large pointed horns, set of four (three large, one small) on each side of head; clustered spikes on shoulder and back, as well as lined down tail, these produce severe electric shock, do not touch them; cluster of glowing eyes on each side of head; appears to be at least semi-aquatic, but no one trusts him to get into water, he might explode
Powers: Electricity and Shock mastery, Esby is able to produce a large shock, in a close range around himself, under his paws, and particulaly focused from the cluster of spines on his back. He is completely immune to shock and electrical damage. His luminescence lights up the immediate area, and is quite hypnotic. He does make a bit of sound when he's moving, almost like stirring static shock against a carpet.
Speed, with the speed of a spark, Esby can move short distances (less than 100 meters) in mere moments. It's been guessed that if he got help from one of the other dragons to power him up, he might be able to do this at a much greater distance. He cannot really be 'ridden', and Terry's not dumb enough to try.
Communication, while it's clear that Esby understands English and dragon-languages, he doesn't speak so much as produce a sharp static-noise whenever he opens his mouth. Only Snakefist can really understand him, and that's with the aid of his empathic bond, as well as the dancing waves of light and electricity on his back.
Parentage: Unknown
Origin: adopted from BlowUpBlood at Deviantart
Other Info: Snakefist got to him first, but Natascha is insanely jealous of this beautiful, shocking creature, even though she's got her own incredibly powerful lightning dragon. But Esby can walk around indoors, and her monster of a dragon absolutely cannot. They wander the halls at Black Mesa or the EC and can power up locations just by walking by.
