Though she's in fancy clothing to the right, she's equally often found in ratty old hoodies and jeans, overalls, or skirts under sweaters

Genetic Abilities: Sandy both feeds off and manipulates emotion, as an empath she is very much akin to Alma Wade's type of power use. However she will never reach Alma's level of ability, and she also tends to feed / provoke positive emotions around her. Where Lynne has the potential for crowd control, Sandy actually achieves it, though on a much smaller scale. However her stronger power is that of healing, the flip side of Melissa's self-only power, Sandy's is turned outward and she has the ability to literally raise the recently-dead or near-dead from their wounds. She does power herself using the ‘hope and love' of those around her (her words) so in any given desperate situation, she may or may not be able to truly finish a healing. Sandy is not very keen on experimenting with her abilities, as she does not really enjoy artificially created moods – fear, anger and sorrow generally subdue her healing to a level that frustrates her. There is however no lack of practice in the Enrichment Center, due to the Replica soldiers' training nearby. Her ability to heal, while predicted by genetic engineers as they worked on her fetal form, was a bit of a surprise in that it came on her during an outdoor exercise that involved Natascha's lightning and a Replica soldier. At the age of seven, she completely revived the Replica, though she seemed rather confused when he didn't truly wake up (Paxton himself was too surprised at the attack to want to re-enter the Replica's mind to ‘start it up'). If a body is actually dead, or has been dead for more than a few hours, she can ‘reanimate' it, but unless she is present when the person or animal dies, she cannot fuse the mental or Vortal energy back into the body, and it will either always be a vegetable or slip back into death. She can ‘see' ghosts – or perhaps merely the ‘dead' as the ghosts around this facility tend to be violent and quite visible, and notably is aware when Rex is out and about in his ‘astral' form. (she has a very strong Vortal sight)
Skills or Profession: Excells at biology and natural sciences, as well as psychology and crowd behaviors. Currently is relied upon for serious injuries and to make sure that any hidden diseases get taken care of, in any setting where refugees occur. She's not afraid to move between and among the many facilities which the Pantheon holds down. In the Repurposed Black Mesa setting, she enjoys working in the medical wing with more conventional physicians to help teach her, as well as instruct her for specific medical emergencies. She doesn't need to use her power to heal, after all, she knows how to apply a bandage or set a bone manually because of this.
Personality: Practical, pleasant and confident, Sandy seems like a very well adjusted young girl. She has the typical assortment of fears and mistrusts (though she doesn't mind playing with dead things, she really doesn't like watching her own blood being drawn, for instance), and could pass in any normal American classroom. She gets along famously with Alyx, but is also willing to learn from any of the others in the project. She is one of the few girls who outright refuses to deal with Rex, annoyed with his antics and clearly seeing through his tough-guy image. As she grows older, Sandy seems to have a very mature outlook on the group of Paragon students, and reality. She knows that she is pretty, but would never use that to snub any of the other girls. She does, on the other hand, learn to use this to her advantage with men. She remains aloof in many situations where others are angry or tense, and thrives on happy groups. When she is in need of any kind of uplift emotionally, she can be found hanging out near Cricket.

Events or History: She was quite young when the Events occurred, and would have been slated for biology and health training as well as downloads for emotional or psychological counciling. She does this all by habit now, and has even suggested that she doesn't want downloaded skills because they might interfere with what she actually knows. She has healed Paxton and his brother Geoff 'far too many times', and attended Melissa when Darr'lih was born - much to her distress. That situation put her off trying to help Mel in that regard, and though she's still her friend, that subject is touchy.

Sandy was responsible for keeping Keenan's body alive before he moved to the new one Mel and Carmen had cooked up for him. She was rather shocked that he'd kept himself as healthy as he seemed for as long as he had, since he was techincally dead for a good portion of it. She couldn't keep the lung cancer he'd made with the body at bay, but at least allowed him to relax enough to put effort into stopping Ulathoi. For this, he has expressed, he is eternally grateful and will offer to do things for her spontaneously. (This is highly unusual for him, and she knows it.) Also he's one of the few people that she doesn't require 'happy' from, to heal up - he simply bleeds power, and she focuses that with ease.
