Name: Teddy (often Teddie) Kim, Lih tsah mah, 'easily sees the soul', Seer of the Spirit

Gender: Male, straight?

Age/DOB: 1998

Origin: Repurposed Earth, AA Enrichment Center, Fairport, Alabama

Family: None known, possibly three donor parents among the EC staff; has a daughter (Taina) with Lynne, and likely others among the Pantheon (Tina, Constance, and Dolores all with similar results of strong aura and telepathy/empathy suites), as well as Rosalind (whose mother is Crimson of the Color Guard)

Other: reclusive, but for a reason (see below)

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 115, average build but short stature makes him look a bit broader than he really is, not remarkably strong, but also not weak

Hair: Black, shiny, straight and kept shortish to neck, often falling into eyes

Eyes: Light golden brown, almond-shaped, usually looks a bit confused but that's because he sees way more than just with his eyeballs

Appearance: Lightly tan-yellow skin, typical of Asian descent, square face with a wide, flat nose and upturned eyebrows at almost all times; as shown prefers purple and subdued shades, has a quiet voice

Genetic Abilities: Extremely strong Vortal aura senses, can detect and distinguish individuals among groups, pinpoint distant people with Vortal power, analyze auras to determine power uses or whether they've been in use recently, all this at 50+ mile range; Strong telepathy, good with groups and far stronger within 25 meters than most are by touch, uses this ability to 'help blot out' Lynne's occasional outbursts, helpful with nightmares being shared, or with when she's triggered by the arrival of someone or something powerful; Medium empathic ability that is considerably stronger at very close range or touch, though no control over any other person with it

Icarus Processing: No, would likely be too powerful for his own good if the process had been done; he and Lynne were created right about the same time, and with her reaction strongly mirrored in him, the staff decided against it.
Skills or Profession: Teddy (or TeddieKim, as the Vorts like to call him) was intended as an information gathering spy, monitor, or if he could have been trained to do so, a crowd control specialist. He was given extensive subliminal training to help him spot people, behavioral sciences, and infiltration - he only used infiltration a few times after the Events, enough to know that he didn't much care for it. But his experiences have helped him work with most of the Pantheon as a sort of telepathic numbing agent, since he would frequently act as a barrier between Lynne, Pax, or other strongly empathic or telepathic kids when they had nightmares or were traumatized. These things did affect him, he wasn't immune to their emotions, but he didn't become too stunted in his own development.
When the Vortigaunts arrived, Teddy quickly became a student of their own unique teachings. He knows more about their own history and behavior than almost any other human - perhaps more than any. They trust him implictly with their secrets, and he keeps those secrets to himself. He has trouble actually speaking Vortigese, but they claim that he knows what they mean even without being involved with their Flux shifting conversations.
In current era Rookery, he's relied upon to seek out refugees, and is usually the one called upon to do paperwork while he's watching out for the Pantheon on their own scouting of the countryside. He can keep track of very distant dragons as well as people riding them, if they have any amount of telepathic or psychic energy.
Personality: Quiet, shy, and reclusive. Teddy spent a good amount of time in the Pantheon just... being there for anyone who needed a silent hug, or to ensure that dangerous outbursts from any of their most powerful telepaths didn't disrupt everyone else. He did this even while the scientists were around - before the Events, Lynne and others were known to have been affected strongly by Alma or even by the Keepers themselves. He would patrol the dorms - mentally and physically - in order to ensure that he knew where everyone was, and that whoever needed to be calmed got the right connection to another. While he's quite the loner in terms of his own needs, Teddy has always remained a very stable, kindly sort of friend to all in need. There would hardly be a time when he wouldn't want to help someone out.
Events or History: As above, Teddy was a buffer between Alma, Lynne, Paxton, and the other children. He generally wasn't one to be sent out into battle, or even on patrols - his ability to sense where people were was already quite strong even before the Events, so he was kept at the center of things. Once the Events allowed them to do so, he could venture out on his own with reasonable confidence, always able to ping someone else to make sure he was okay. That's essentially been Teddy, the whole time.
With the Rookery now, though, he has once more been able to expand his abilities and practice with the Vorts - he has been known to head over to the Ranch and test his limits looking for specific people in the Mesa distantly.

Dragon

Name: Azhnach, the star's path, or just Starpath
Gender: Female
Size/Shoulder/Length: Small, 7'5" shoulder / 45' l / 55' ws
Colors: Lilac dappled with faint yellow-gold, cream, star-like markings along entire body, limbs, and tail; wingsails from deep purple through pale lilac, edged with yellow-cream gold; ridges, horns, tail spade, and claws pale yellow; cyan eyes
Features: four legs, two wings, long spaded tail; scaled hide with larger plates on back, segmented armor down throat only, tiny scales on limbs; 5 and 4 digits, heavily clawed, thumbs on forepaws, heel claw on hind; 3 fingered leathery wings with short elbow internal spike, and long wrist thumb, only thumb has claw; tall neck ridge spikes, Ryslenesque, with two large backswept horns, prominent chin but not horned; spaced ridges on high tail only.
Powers: Winged Flight, Starpath can fly with superb ease, at incredible speeds as well as heights, seemingly unaffected by altitude or thinness of air - so she has to be careful if Teddy is riding her or if they're carrying anyone, because she can fly considerably higher than they can breathe.
Verbal Speech, she's able to speak, if gruffly and with a lot of s-sounds, English and a bit of Vortigese, but she prefers just the deeply grumbling and occasional loud burst of Draconic. She can understand if not speak most breeds of Dragon speech, though she's not known to bother.
Distract With Shiny, She is able to produce a kind of visual 'wake' behind her and around her wings and tail as she moves, that is more powerful than a heat-haze but less controlled than some powers. If she must, she can crank this up so that they 'vanish' into thin air, while her wings do the work, it just looks like stardust until there's nothing left. She can lay a trail of this weird visual effect, it lingers for at least an hour, though if wind is very strong, it can change direction or shape though it won't dissipate entirely.
Prediction, Starpath seems unerringly able to locate where something, someone, or an event will be, with an astonishingly accurate precision. Up to a week in advance, she's been able to warn of impending disasters, arrivals of dragons or people, or 'where that kid keeps getting lost'. This is a power that she apparently has learned to control, as she's muttered to Teddy about it being a bit wonky when she was quite young. It is unknown how long it took her to master it, and also unknown how old she is.
Parentage: Unknown, as with a few others though she seems rather Ryslenesque, and the others with these features may all come from the same homeworld. She is among the dragons selected by Melissa to produce Voy'urr (and likely others) during the Hallowed Silk flight era. And she is the smallest of them... Paired up with Lipatan producing 1, 2, 3, Taanumitae, Livoyee, 6; and with Alendreth (??)
Origin: Adopted from Deadpuff at Deviantart, with lines by Taluns
Other Info: Starpath is aptly named, from her wavering 'trail' of stardust, but also she loves to gaze at the stars. She has commented on numerous occasions that the stars are 'different' here, so she is clearly smart enough and curious enough to have studied them on her homeworld, as well as wherever else she's visited. Since she cannot teleport, no one even knows how she even got here - maybe a portal storm. Maybe just luck. Maybe she just knew where she needed to be, and came there.
