South East Campus Humanities Building, Physical Sciences Building, T'angle Way The forte of campus planning cannot even be seen here: but it can be felt. Every two thousand seconds a pulse is generated by the central core within the Physical Sciences Mechanics Lab, sending energy surging through the campus. The reason for this is unknown, the individuals responsible for setting this activity in motion have long since vacated the Dimension. There are few buildings as at odds as the pair shown below, from their appearances externally to their drastically different interiors, to the students who frequent one more than the other. (All students eventually have to take classes in both, though. A well-rounded education is a must, after all.) The gentle slope to the east of the last building leads directly to the bleachers and observation seating for the outdoor activities on campus. The street side of the Physical Sciences Building is heavily (magically) disguised to appear as nondescript as possible, and this effect doubles if an alarm is tripped. There are visible windows on the Physical Sciences building, but they are cosmetic after the second floor. The Watermelon Drop is held between the PS and Humanities buildings once a year. Bring your expendable droppable objects! |

T'angle Way So named because it is (apart from being rectangle shaped of course) situated directly between the two most dichotomous centers of the campus: Philosophy and Physical Sciences. Arguments are frequent and usually entertaining, however rarely fatal. |
Humanities Building* Located near the east edge of campus, this building is a three story brick and steel construction that harkens back to the Ivy league and offers the student a glimpse of what it could be like to be going to a prestigious East Coast or European University. Though it looks older, this building is only about fifteen years old and is actually quite up to California building codes. Ivy certainly does like the outside of this building, and grows more than two-thirds up to the roof as it was intended to do. The windows in each room are rarely locked. There are six classrooms on each floor of this building. First floor holds Universal History, Living Mythology, Galactic Geography, Locals History and Current Affairs. Second floor is English 101 and 503, Earth/Alien Literature, Martian Studies, Speech and Grad Student Training. Third floor hosts Earth Languages, Alien Languages, Political Science, Alien Evolution, all Psychology/Relations and Anthropology. ** The building has been renovated and a 4th floor added, increasing the variety of classes held here. *The term Humanaties is used as a catch-all: no offense is intended to any students, staff or visiting dignitaries due to non or demi-human breeding. |

Physical Sciences Building In the south-east corner of campus, the Physical Sciences building dominates the skyline. The first two floors are level, then three towers emerge from the north-east, south-west, and central portions of the building. These towers are four stories higher and stand separate. Looking at them at the right angle produces a famous illusion of a three-tined tuning fork... The north tower contains the Biology Lab, ad Life Sciences subjects (including Genetics Lab, Advanced Biochemistry, Practical Anatomy and others). The Central tower holds Mechanics and Astrogation. The south tower is for Physics and Chemistry. The lower floors are for staff offices, the Interrogation chamber, and Optimism Under Duress classrooms. The exterior of this building cannot be altered in any permanent way. The graffiti is automatically sent to the Art Department for analysis and display, while bullet holes, laser blasts, adamantium claw scratches, light-sabre burns and draconic flame/acid sprays are all dealt with in other innovative scientific or magical ways. There are two observation turrets atop the PS building, occupied by trained staff members only. The building stands at the edge of the sloping side of campus, the east side can be seen from the PE fields and outdoor arena as a sort of castle-like outline.
