South Western Campus

Food Pavilion, Kiosks 1, 2, 3

With easy access from the parking lot off Carramba Court and Beach Boulevard, the southwest corner is the most often traveled area of campus.

This locale is flat and planted with grass and several large imported alien trees. The exterior of the Food Pavilion is painted with the school colors facing the streets, and the school motto "Crux Futuris" across the bold colors.

Food Pavilion

Standing two stories tall, with all the food stores on the second floor balcony level. There is floor enough on the balcony to get food made and served, and for customers of most sizes to walk freely or stand in line.

Below and on the ground floor are seats and tables for the patrons, as well as the indoor glass-enclosed Sushi Pond which Red's Class uses daily. The front of the building - facing the center of campus, is mostly glass with two very large sliding doors. These two walls expose the whole interior.

It is loud, fun and very brightly lit here at all times during open hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM school season, 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM off season).

Located here are several chain-food servers, most of which employ either students or alumni.

  • Taco Attack - it's not really Mexican food, but it sure is fun to eat...
  • Open All Nite (hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) - serving burgers, fries, shakes and the messiest fondue cheese/bean dip ever created.
  • Your Gyros - exceptionally tasty Greek gyros, lamb dishes, more fries.
  • Sushi from Red's Class (they really need a better name) - specializing in small-fish dishes, since Shark doesn't always fit in the Sushi Pond.
  • Dachsunds on a Dowel - with hot dogs, cheese, hairballs, whatever else you can possibly imagine being stuck on a stick and deep-fried in a variety of corn, wheat, wheat-free or other batters.
  • Orient Xpress'd - quick MSG-free Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese foods served by Chuang-O (she's a vampire, but don't worry. She doesn't bite the customers.)
  • The Food Your Mother Warned You About: Fruit Whips and Protein Chains - yes indeed, how gay can one establishment get and still serve all-ages food? Great smoothies, wheat-grass shakes, power-carb enhancers and all sorts of other work-out foods.

Kiosk One - Fruit Whips and Protein Chains Outlet Store

Orange drinks served by fruits. Actually they have a smoothie bar and a bunch of work-out gear, including all kinds of imported waters from distant planets too. Open hours 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Kiosk Two - Caffetorium West

Coffee Drinks and chocolate treats directly from the Caffetorium. This Kiosk often serves the Faculty more than the students. Open 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Kiosk Three - Skwid-k-Bob

Snacks from the Sea, on an open-fire barbeque pit, served by the one and only Bob. Open during lunch hours or on demand.
