Dragon Breeding Program Nest 1
Though one of this pair doesn't truly live at the high school's dragonry, she has been known to visit with her bond, and enjoys her crime-fighting lifestyle elsewhere just as much. These dragons are eager to explore the multiverse. This pair has strongly hinted that there will be further nests.

Sholoon and Fahrlanath have produced a large nest, with at least 8 eggs visible. Since the nest is basically burning, no one knows quite what will come from it until they start being moved to their new bonds or sponsors.
The 'humanoid' shapeshift that some of the offspring can achieve is extremely androgynous for a reason. They aren't mammals, and the humanoid form doesn't necessarily express their external gender. (They can, if the new owner wishes, learn to shift to look more like their inherent gender 'as humanoid'.)
** Vortal energy can be detected by anyone with suitable telepathic or empathic powers, magic senses, or even sophisticated technology. Otherwise they appear to be merely bright or dark with a hazy chill or a wavery heat.

Verbal Speech (extremely good vocabulary), Telepathy (quite invasive, long range), Teleportation (weak dimensional, good range local), Self-healing (weak, won't die from immediate wounds but heals only about 2x faster than normal), Grant Invulnerability (somewhat weak), Water Elemental summoning/breathing (enough to breathe, little else), Ice/Fire Breath (ice 2x stronger than fire, both reasonably intense), Chill Self (moderate, enough to keep cool in 90+ weather).
As well-read as this dragonet is, he's not above spattering amusing curses and creative swearing into his conversation. However, he is obviously very intelligent and enjoys a good debate. He's typically of good cheer, but just do not get on his bad side - he has one. He is remarkably vain.

Verbal Speech (generally keeps to short quips to the point, gets lost when things get really technical); Telepathy (truly extraordinary range and depth of ability, can select among many individuals or send/receive group messages easily, this is his preferred method of communication); Teleportation (adequate range plane-shift, average distance on local teleport, neither of them is something he'd offer if he had to transport important people or items, he's able, but not confident); Full Self-Healing (adequate to allow about 3x faster healing, and takes almost no damage from cold or water immersion); Ice Breath (strong, able to freeze living tissue to the point of brittleness and death, but at a fairly short range); Heat/Chill Self (both very strong, able to maintain nearly ideal temperature in volcanic or arctic conditions, and this also allows him to aid others in doing so as long as they remain near him); Shapeshift (ends with this form only) (Shapeshifting is almost instant and can be done under any circumstance, even unconsciousness. Even though he seems a bit gruff, quite like his bond, he is sure that they will enjoy their time together. He chose to bond, rather than merely be sponsored, sensing that Carrol has experienced loss as well as triumph and he wants 'in' on it. To guard against loss, and to thrill to victories. Though he's clearly a big, burly dragon, his heart is warm and sensitive.

Verbal Speech (average local/english speaking with a 'high school level' vocabulary); Telepathy (strong, piercing mind with strong cold overtones, exceptional with groups); Teleportation (superb, effortless plane-shift ability, absolutely dead-on locational knowledge and flawless movement between even very distant worlds, can carry everything in her wingspan-stretched diameter; almost entirely pathetic local teleportation, she'd much rather go through the Nexus than teleport across the street, very draining); Full Self-Healing (very poor, resistant to disease and any effects of cold and heals about 1.5 times faster than normal); Grant Invulnerability (very strong, as with her nexus shifting anything within her wing diameter can be protected for a considerable amount of time or level of damage); Chill Self (very strong, can all but become a block of living ice, good for long waits or camouflage); Ice Breath (similarly strong, can breathe on other creatures or items/objects about up to her own size to harmlessly freeze them in stasis, and then release them at will); Shapeshifting (to this form only, takes about 15 minutes to fully shift in either direction, no intermediate forms).
Oshoo is very professional, not necessarily courteous but seems to understand the needs of a group at a glance of her chilly mind. She's far from 'cold and uncaring', she seems to believe that it's her goal in life to protect, transport, and scout where she can. Her plane shifting allows her to overcompensate for her lack of localized teleportation - she can move to another dimension and back and 'be across the street'.

Verbal Speech (quite verbose, intellectual and technical); Telepathy (below average, better at reception); Teleportation (poor plane-shift, with difficulty can reach Xen but that's about it; very good local that can encompass any item or creature sheltered below his wingspan); Full Self-Healing (heals at least 2.5 times faster than normal, immune to both heat and cold effects); Elemental Water Summoning (brings a large amount of water out of almost nothing, can breathe indefinitely submerged, purify tainted water), Warm Self (adequate to not be cold in winter conditions, but not terribly great otherwise), Ice Breath (can freeze even hot items down to brittleness, can flash-freeze things to thaw at will, items or creatures must be within wingspan distance to be affected).
Roola is an egghead, often found among the scientists and researchers. Because of his water powers he's often relied on to remove the dangers of a toxic spill or radioactive pool so others can explore or travel. He enjoys scouting as much as chatting with the locals, and has a good memory for human and Vort faces.

Verbal Speech (well-spoken and well read, enjoys learning new languages); Telepathy (possibly the best among the entire clutch, subtle and faintly ripply/hazy when speaking [an effect of both water and fire power], is exceptional at reception at great distance); Teleportation (average plane-shift, able to return to locations seen personally or sent telepathically; tremendously good local, able to move large items or groups with ease, anywhere on the same planet though distance increases exhaustion); Full Self-Healing (better than average, can heal 2x faster and takes no damage from toxins, chemicals, or radiation); Elemental Water Summoning (exceptionally strong, though concentrates on manipulating tainted water or liquids such as mercury, can manipulate blood or ichor), Chill Self (poor, but good enough not to overheat in very hot weather, not enough to prevent burns), Fire Breath (takes the form of plasma-like poison, but only short range or in a broad steam-like spray, can cause acid burns).
Anash is quite like his brother Roola in many ways, but his powers allow him to actively ruin locations with acidic, plasma-like spit in order to break down barriers or dissolve enemies. He has been known to locate refugee groups and simply teleport them outright back to the Rookery, almost instantly able to learn their language just by listening in to their thoughts. He's a bit abrupt.

Verbal Speech (very concise and knowledgeable), Telepathy (good at close range, gets confused with lots of minds), Teleportation (nearly no dimensional ability - present but needs guidance, but is absolutely amazing with local-world distances - can reach nearly anywhere she has seen including from other minds memories), Self-Healing (strong, is resistant to all forms of disease and heals 3x quicker than normal), Grant Invulnerability (very strong, can effectively prevent all but deadly wounds for a short period of time, on up to 5x her mass [thus a group of humanoids, or up to one very large dragon]), Elemental Water (purifies and creates volumes of water quickly, even in dry conditions), Chill Self (strong, can withstand very hot temperatures but not outright fire), Fire Breath (ironically, can produce fire that might hurt her own hide, can melt most ores).
While Lharoth considers herself fully capable of self-sufficiency, she would far rather put her skills to good use under strong direction. She does have a simple but firm condition to her service with (or to) those she has allied with: she will not harm her own lines or the worlds her parents are on. Anyone else is effectively open game, though she's far from a soldier or fighter and of much more use in defending specific groups or people. Lharoth is in a word: confident.

While she can relax with the best of them, almost professionally calm and collected, Naralath seems to be the polar opposite of her sponsor. That said, she can almost seem to be 'done so fast she never looks busy'. She is the kind that can get her work done wherever it may be, and then be back for beer and pizza at any hour of the day or night. And she does like beer and pizza, where she got that habit no one knows.

Verbal Speech (somewhat poor speaker, may get lost with big words), Telepathy (comprehension limited to emotions and simple commands), Teleportation (very strong dimension-shifting, somewhat short range local), Self-healing (strong, quite durable and heals up to 4x faster than normal), Shapeshifting (to this form only, extremely fast and complete, stands around 6'5 at crest), Heat/Chill Self (extremely good heating, always able to withstand bitter cold; somewhat weak chilling), Ice Breath (can freeze large volumes at short range, has pinpoint accuracy at longer range).
Sonnata is small, fast, and loveable but dumb as a bag of bricks. She's very good at taking orders or doing simplistic tasks, but is actually very nimble with her humanoid hands and thus can be useful for delicate items or cases where her Vortal powers are needed. She does not seem in the slightest daunted by other people's vocabulary or insults, and unfortunately having a 'humanoid' head and brain arrangement doesn't help that much.

Full Self-Healing this is spectacularly strong, don't even bother trying to harm them.
